At the fest, the air was electric and filled with excitement - both young ones and from their seniors! There was loud music being played live at different stages strewn across the entire downtown , people were swaying to it and really enjoying themselves between loud shouts of PROST !l before taking their next gulp of beer from their ginormous glasses! The food too being served at every corner - we're all the faire associated with Oktoberfest - bratwurst, Latkas, dogs, both corn and beef, and the bird - a solid leg of turkey along with 7 different types of beers! We immersed ourselves into the experience and came back home very happy and full. The best part was we felt right at home and plan to make attending this an annual tradition! Well done , McKinney !

Just look at the pictures (taken on Aug-27th, 2022) of this "country club" if that is what you want to call it. I have never seen this golf course so poorly maintained, they blame it on the heat, but other courses around are in good shape. The food is absolutely terrible, the service is incredibly slow, this used to be the place to be back in 2012/2013, Fridays and Saturdays night was great to be with family and friends, the food was great, now is truly a below average overpriced restaurante. Family-centered but could also be a home away from home for the non parent side of you who wants solo time. This country club has a "Ranch" location that is a bit more casual tone to it and the "Dye" location a mile away. Stonework is fabulous in both with a cozy interior of old world charm. No wonder they organize weddings here. Both sites feature GOLF courses but I was there for the social membership side of things. This allows for a tier pricing option which I feel is still a luxury but sensible. Both sites have a resort like outdoor pool with pool side arrive. Drinks? Appetizers? Meals? They got you covered. The Dye location has an indoor jacuzzi in the women's lounge area and the newly renovated work out area of the Ranch location features squat racks, free weights, cardio and personal training options. Back to Amy...inclement weather made it so I wasn't able to see the property as planned. Amy took time to communicate through video + images to show me the country club. When I was able to guess pass my way for my "recon" visit, I was delighted by her personable demeanor and PRIDE of what she enjoys in the locations. Wine pairing and fancy dinners spoke to the foodie in me. Her persuasion came from her genuine excitement for the beauty of the property. Sadly, my family decided to move in another direction but I wouldn't hesitate to revisit this in the future for a membership or organized event. The place is very colorful and cheerful in spirit. The employees check in with you to guide you through everything, give you pointers, and check in if you need anything at all. I had a blast creating this painting of my precious cat, Cai! (Before and after pictured below.) I appreciate the transparent pricing structure and the ability to come back and finish your piece. It was much easier for a walk in visit than Color Me Mine in Plano, (which last I visited there you absolutely needed a reservation and they will (very kindly) push you out the door once your reserved time runs out). Getting a reservation here would still be needed with a bigger party or at more crowded times. The vibe here is very welcoming for creative spirits. Highly recommend! Five stars all around.

The theater was clean, well-organized, and easy to navigate, with reserved seating making the entire process seamless from start to finish. The D-BOX seats were incredibly comfortable and added a whole new level of immersion to the movie. The motion was perfectly synced with the action -- engaging without being distracting -- and the adjustable intensity was a nice touch. This was also really nice as there were chairs and even a roaring fireplace, and plenty of room to mingle and talk comfortably. The reception hall was much larger than I thought and with the dance floor and all of the tables it made for a beautiful scene. They had these large decorations hanging above the dance floor which were very pretty, and when I asked about them I was told that the club actually put those up on their own! The food was served buffet style with a carving station for the meats. The food was about what you would expect from a wedding - average. A good side note is that they have a children's room for club hours that has a full changing station with a sink if you're attending with a baby! This was very handy for me!
