Great experience at Pinstack for a family party! We worked closely with Ashley to plan the event in advance and received overall very good service from Gabby, Maddy, and Andrea. Highly recommend the VIP bowling experience for private events - lanes are nice, couches are comfy and food is tasty especially for bowling alley. We started the night by playing on their massive foosball table. Be careful not to trip on the cord protector closer to the wall near the center of the table since it's really bumpy. Some of the rods are wonky. We then proceeded to bowl. I thought the cost per hour per lane on a weekend was reasonable. My friends who spin thought there was too much oil on the lanes, but I don't spin and bowled perfectly fine. We ordered from a server who took a long time to get to us and the food was decent. They have a good selection of beer and spirits. Good enough food, good entertainment, good friends - not more you can ask for in life. read more

I would definitely recommend not coming here. First: when we tried to go here I saw a deal for 20$ but you get the points of 25$. We tried using a giftcard on the kiosk but that didn't work, so we had to go to the bowling alley for assistance. We told them our problem and they said their system was down and for us to wait 10-15 minutes. So when we got back at the bowling alley they accepted the gift card and gave us less points for what 20$ would give for the deal. So I came here on Saturday for date night with my man and it was honestly perfect! I don't remember the last time I went bowling before this (probably like 10 years ago), whatever the case, this was a top-tier bowling experience!! He made a reservation for the VIP room which was perfect! Also, seeing as this was a surprise date night, I was wearing wedges so I obviously didn't have socks, thankfully they provided me with a complimentary pair and they were so comfortable! One of the most unexpected parts of this whole experience was how good the food was, because let's be honest, generally, we don't really have high hopes for bowling alley food but BABY - let me tell you, they have real chefs back there okayyy???!!! Everything was SO fresh and SO delicious!! The mozzarella sticks came out piping hot, and you can tell that they make their ranch in house, absolutely DELICIOUS!! My family and I came here on a Monday night, and we got two "VIP suite" lanes. It was much quieter back there so that was nice, but they seemed to have literally one waitress for the entire place because she was running around busy while everyone else was chatting at their stations. The food was awful. Literally disgusting, so I'm glad it was half price apps day because even that seemed like a stretch. Either someone should help the waitress or they need a dedicated VIP waitress because I could tell that she was doing her best, but probably overwhelmed. The manager seemed to be nowhere to be found. As far as the bowling goes... our lanes were malfunctioning most of the time. It cost us around $280 to bowl, rent shoes, and eat for a family of 7. Keep in mind, this is with discounts for downloading the app (discounted shoe rental), and half price appetizer night. Full price would have been closer to $400. So just be aware that if you really want to go bowling, try a family owned place or look for discounts anywhere you can get them. read more

Went here for an event, the games were fun and there was plenty of variety for anyone. Got a couple beers and the wait was a bit longer than i would expect just for draft beers. Probably stood in line for about 5-8 minutes and it just seemed very slow. The food was okay, slightly below what i would expect from a bowling alley. The chicken was especially dry and had no life left in it and there was a lack of seasoning. The loaded mashed potatoes were fantastic though. Came in on a Saturday around 1 and were able to get an alley in about 20 min. Price was much better than I anticipated - after $4.50 rentals per person, it was $84 for an hour and a half. The price goes up after 2 o'clock, so I recommend getting in line before then. Beer prices weren't bad either, got a 32 oz Dos Equis for $11. I had a large work group to entertain, and someone suggested Pinstack as an option for both dinner and an activity. So I reserved some lanes, ordered some food and planned for a fun event. Then Covid hit and our work meeting was cancelled. The folks at Pinstack were great to work with-allowing us to reschedule our reservation-twice actually-until we were finally able to come together as a group and enjoy an evening out of the office. When we arrived, our food was ready and setup at the four reserved alleys. We also had a dedicated server who cleared dishes and retrieved a wait staff who could get us drinks from the bar. The food was much better than I expected-not your typical bowling alley/bar food at all. I highly recommend the chicken strips. There are several games you can choose from at your alley. We set up a couple as practice lanes where we didn't keep score, but tracked statistics-including how fast your ball was traveling down the lane. Then we had a couple of the lanes ready for real games. The Angry Birds game automatically puts up the bumpers-be aware. After our time was up in the bowling lanes, we visited the arcade where we played games for awhile. These were not old school arcade games, but high tech and well maintained games. If you're bringing young kids, they will have fun, but it's the older kids and adults that will probably appreciate it even more. I highly recommend Pinstack! read more

Went with another family to play some arcade games and then eat at the restaurant. Arcade was fun. Grabbed some drinks at the bar, super easy and good service. After an hour, decided to go have dinner at the restaurant. We were seated by the hostess. Waited 15 mins for a server, which never happened. I finally went and asked if we need to order via QR CODE or if we have a server, and the guy said "oh sorry, I thought bc you had drinks you had already been helped." Ok, fair enough, that made sense. What didn't make sense is that the same server got our order wrong, never checked on us, and the manager was even more confused than the server. We all met up at Pinstack after soccer practice tonight and the kids had a blast. And I had a blast seeing the kids have a blast. I watched my daughter conquer her fears one challenge at a time as she climbed every rock climbing wall on her very first time ever climbing. At first she wouldn't ever wait in line, then she watched her friends, then she timidly tried it and came back down, and then she reached the top. I'm rating this place four stars based on my two experiences planning events with them. I booked my daughter's birthday party here and it was a good experience. We got there 10 minutes before our party time and we weren't taken back to our lane until 5 minutes after the party started. We were assigned a party host, whom did a great job getting the kids' bowling shoes, and the party host pretty much was on top of everything with our party. She helped with serving pizza and cake, distributing cards, and was awesome. I helped oversee planning of a grade level graduation party for a local Plano elementary school. Pinstack did a good job with letting us set up a table and reserving lanes and tables for our area to use. What I did not care for was that even though there was food designated for the kids and the adults of our party there, there was no way for employees to deter other patrons not in our party to help themselves to the food. There was another graduation party taking place at the same time that did not have as quite as much food as us (they had food and drinks for their kids whereas we had food and drinks for kids and parents, plus we brought in our own cupcakes) and the other party was actually shooing away people from their party and encouraging them to take food from our party. By the way, this other party was from a "Christian" private school in Dallas (I would blast the name, but let's just say it's not actually a really elite private school of Dallas, but a second tier private school which is hardly academically selective or rigorous, but takes your kid if you have the money so that your kid is not a number in the excellent suburban school districts....it has "Christian" in the name of the school but they surely weren't acting that way). We came here because my niece wanted to do some bowling for her birthday. So when we got there and got to the back to sign the man said that it would be a 2 hour wait so we said cool. We decided to sit down eat cake and then play games to help the time pass by. We see Ari and Jay pass by and we ask them if they could get us some plates and forks and even though they were not our servers they were so kind to help us. Even when I wanted to order some food Jay took time out to find who my server was in order for me to eat. He then sent Derrick to my table so that I may order me some food and he was also super polite and answers the question that I had about the menu. So when they bought my veggie pizza out someone from the kitchen bring it out and I was like its missing the caramelized onions and she said is it and I said yes it is suppose to have 5 toppings so she took it back. So they do not remake my pizza they just threw some caramelized onions on top because Derrick came back with my pizza about 3 minutes later. He really didn't know so I didn't take it out on him I just ate it because I was not going to keep sending it back to the kitchen for nothing. So then when we went back to check on our bowling spot we had been waiting for 1 hrs 15 min he said we still had 2 to 3 hours and we were like what? Staff needs MAJOR IMPROVEMENT. Most of the young staff does not know how to communicate ESPECIALLY with teenagers that are paying customers. Teenagers that walk in to have fun are paying the same as the next person in line but are treated with no value.
