Without a doubt Canterbury Royale is the most exclusive restaurant in northern Maine, there are usually only 10 to 12 seats available for dinner. If you are lucky enough to get a reservation here on any given night then you are in for one of the best dining experiences of your life. Chef Renee and Chef Barbara make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in the door to the moment you leave. Reservations are required and must be made well in advance. Once confirmed, you will receive a choice of entrees that you will choose from and the other courses are chef inspired and complement the overall meal. The chefs themselves serve the meal and spend time at the table to explain the each course and the ingredients. I have never felt more appreciated, satisfied and welcomed than the evening we enjoyed at Canterbury Royale.
