Lobster Benedict with a side of Fresh Maine Potato Homefries

Delicious! Stayed over in Presque Isle at the Northeastland Hotel which is a nice place. Riverside is just across and down the street. I ordered Lobster Benedict and a side of homefries. Easily the best Lobster Benedict I ever had. Home fries were delicious too!

Good food, good prices, convenient to down town. Nothing fancy and a bit hard to find but worth the stop.

I'll be honest I found this place as I was simply trying to find a nice upscale bar to have an old fashioned at. They delivered, apologize for the lack of photo! Our bartender was very nice and attentive, she was experienced and so after our first round we let her do her magic and had some very tasty cocktails! Ended up with a very tasty take on an espresso martini (they do make the espresso fresh FYI) One mentionable is earlier in the day they have happy hour which does not serve the regular menu, only appetizers. So keep that in mind. But, the finger foods were nice to snack on and tasted good, but as I said we came for the drinks and were very happy with the results.

Waitstaff are very knowledgeable about the menu it's a cozy place vibe. We had pretzel bits they were good but the big pretzel is better. Cheese curds are good. We had the garlic cheese bread very good but we loved the garlic cheese bread sticks even more. I had a chef salad it was good lettuce not wilted dressing was tasty. My son likes the broccoli Alfredo it even reheated nicely. The Ruben was good but I asked for extra sauerkraut they wish I could've gotten more. The bread was good toasted and had good flavor. We took home the berry spare dessert it was very good. The water wasn't bad. Typical soda selections. We been a couple of times and probably will go back. Maybe next time in a Wednesday for trivia night.

By the time we were served our food, many people had come and gone, and the lunch rush had long since been over. When asked about the delay, the waitress stated, that because pizza were "faster to make because they have a new pizza oven. Therefore pizzas were the priority." Apparently, since they could not even manage to make a well done burger.

What I saw was a team that seamlessly worked together to make their customers feel seen and appreciated. It was like I watched an interpretive dance. If the bartender needed (for whatever reason) to step away from the bar, another employee filled her place. I even saw one employee asking the current bartender to teach her how to make a certain drink. I had the cheese curds, and they were so good that I asked for a to-go so I could share it with my family. Someone from the kitchen brought out my order. I said, "Please tell the chef that these are so good that they could be addictive." He smiled and said, "Thank you. I'm the chef." What I learned is that if I have a few sips of beer left in my glass, that's the time to let my server that I want another and perhaps the check (if that's the case).

As you know, I don't drink they had a large variety of IPAs beers, other alcoholic beverages. They also have mocktails. He did an order of the cheese curds. They were very good at dipping sauce tasted great. I ordered a salad, which was OK and pork filled a bao buns which were very tasty and barbecue juice sauce is not too spicy not too sugary. The whole sauce was very good on the bottom. Just wish it was a bit more. Make sure you have that napkins cause it does leak juice. My Son had the fish and chips. The fish was really well done they say crunchy a good portion of fish. Fries were good too.

They have specials every day pretty good and I chose the lasagna special a Thursday night offering. It comes with a small salad that wasn't melted some green peppers, mayo, and cucumber. The dressing tasted very good then my nice size lasagna came with garlic bread sauce was nice not too sweet and the meat mixi had sausage that had good flavor a little fatty. But overall very good. We took home two desserts one was included with the special. I'm not driving yet when I do I will update. My Son started his meal with pretzel bites. They were OK. They felt some parts were off and other parts were very hard like maybe had a little bit of freezer burn. The queso I was very good. For dinner he had an Alfredo pizza and he really liked it. I'm not one to like a soft crust flavors were good. Waitress is very engaging and made some good suggestions. Lasagna came out very hot and I wish I had been warned better but the plate underneath it was cold so I'm not sure how'd she know. Supposedly I got the last piece of lasagna. When you look interesting, probably will go back and try some other stuff. They have lots of daily specials going on.
