I had an accident with Larry's wife Debra at the Hacienda Crossing parking lot. Debra called her husband and assurred me that I will get compensated on the damage on my car. She was so apologetic and kept on saying sorry to me. I was insisting on getting a police report so the accident can be recorded right at that moment but insisted not to. She told me her husband is a state farm agent with a good reputation and I should trust and take her words that i will get compesated. She insisted on not reporting it on insurance and that i get an estimate to get reimbursed by her husband. The next day I got an estimate and called her husband. Larry told me that after talking to her wife, they decided to file a claim through the insurance. I did file a claim through State Farm. State Farm is telling me that Debra (Larry's wife) is disputing what had happened and was saying that it was not her fault. My car rear bumper was smashed. Their car just go a minor scratch. I am still trying to get my car fixed through their insurance. Of course as state farm agent, Larry knows the insurance business inside and out. I am just another insurance consumer that got played by them in this circumstances. Knowing that I did not get a police report and there are no third party witnesses recorded, they can dispute my claim so they can get away with it. Debra and Larry, I TRUSTED YOU AND YOUR WORDS KNOWING YOU ARE PEOPLE WHO WILL HONOR YOUR WORDS! I guess not. Never again I will trust someone no matter what they say. Is this the insurance agent you want? Will tell you something and the next thing is turn things around? I do not think he can be trusted. read more

Wow to be completely honest I am shocked by all of the 5 star reviews on here. I am not one to write negative reviews or to be overly critical, however, I have NEVER in my life received as poor of service as I have from Larry Damaser and his office staff. When my husband and I got married I switched on to my husband's insurance policy with Larry. While switching over, Larry was incredibly helpful to make the sale and on board a new client. Even though he made a couple negative comments about marriage and having kids (which no newly married female wants to hear when she is basking in the honeymoon period of her new marriage). But that being said I tried to ignore his rude comments because he was being helpful otherwise. Within a few months of signing over to Larry's insurance policy, all hell broke loose! My husband and I were being over charged as well as my in-laws were being charged for our insurance policy as well. When I called to clear up the issue and get a refund, I wasn't even mad, I just wanted to settle the issue and move forward. I understand that mistakes happen. But instead, I kept getting put off by Larry's staff. All of a sudden Larry was VERY busy and was unable to take my calls. At one point it took him TWO weeks to get back to me which is absolutely unacceptable. When he did get back to me, he ended up calling my mother in-law. For some reason they had my mother in law's number listed as mine. Which would have been fine but my mother in law was undergoing a major health crisis at the time and did not need the added stress of dealing with this issue. This is when I got really mad! Not only did they over charge us, not contact us to fix the problem, but they also don't have staff that can properly enter data into the computer system. When I told them to never call my mother in law with this issue again... a week later they called her number AGAIN looking for me. Needless to say, my husband and I switched insurance agents. My in-laws received a refund for their excessive charges but my husband and I never did. I am just happy to not have to deal with Larry and his staff EVER again. Just a warning... Larry may seem very helpful when signing up with him but if an issue arises with your policy, good luck getting him on the phone! read more

Larry is an amazing agent. I am a new customer to State Farm, being introduced to them by my recent marriage. My husband brought me in so we get me on the same car insurance company. At which Dustin helped us with that. Dustin was so helpful and made the process a breeze! After that Dustin recommended for us to look into getting some life insurance. After that we had set up an appointment with Larry to talk about our life insurance options. With us being newlyweds we are still trying for figure out the ways of the world. So to put it a little more simply, I am a little clueless when it comes to any kind of insurance. This is what makes Larry a great agent to me. Larry is a genuine, solid guy you want in your corner. I had been with a different insurance company that advertises a 15 percent discount and switched over to State Farm and am much more comfortable and secure with the "mutual" member owned company and an agent who is also a neighbor, not just a person who answers a toll free phone number who knows where. In addition, Larry was able to set me up with a multi-line discount with my auto, homeowners and a term life policy that gives me a preimum that is well under what I was previously paying. Well that's all nice, but why am I taking the time to personally recommend Larry? Not so long ago I had a car accident on a rainy night. The whole episode really freaked me out. Larry always took my call and was able to walk me through the whole process and assure me that State Farm had my back. They resolved the situation quickly and since I am a long time good driver I did not see a real increase on my rates. If I had to deal with different people every time I called a toll free number I know I would not have done well with the situation.
