My almost 14yr blue heeler, named Maui, was showing signs of a stroke and was no longer able to stand up and it was clear that it was time. I called this place and was given several time options to bring in my dog, with the soonest being an hour from the time of the call. I was spoken to with such kindness and respect, being called hun and love while working through the details about what was going on with the dog and just general information. She was patient and very sweet. I opted for 3 hours after the call to allow some friends to come say goodbye. Upon arrival, I was approached with kindness and warmth from the woman who spoke with me on the phone to set the appointment and was our nurse for the duration of our visit.​ we were given a decent size room that had direct access to the parking lot. It made it very easy and comfortable for my friend and I to carry Maui on her bed directly into the room where we would stay for the duration. The room had chairs and a couch, a rug, tissues. The staff brought me and my 5 friends with me, as well as Maui, water and snacks, chocolate for Maui because they believe no dog should leave without tasting chocolate. The details and fees were taken care of first, which was really nice to get that done with and be able to just have our time in a nice space that was the most un-vet office room I've ever been in. The staff took turns coming in and giving the dog pep talks and pets. I didnt have the heart to let them know that she was deaf and couldn't hear them. The place was quiet and the staff very attentive while also being incredibly supportive and patient. For one of the worst days of my life, losing my best friend that I got was I was 20 in college, this place and the individuals that work there were nothing short of a shining light on a cloudy day. For anyone who does not have the chance to schedule in advance, please give them a call. You will not regret it. After picking up the remains in a beautifully gift wrapped suede bag and boxes for each paw print, I came to find hand written letters from each of the staff. These are wonderful people prepared to take care of your fur baby as well as you. I cannot thank them enough.​
