When the installer team came out, they did not replace the boards and told me new boards were unnecessary. I was still charged for the board replacements anyway. I disputed this directly with the company on March 19th, the day of the installation, and did not receive a follow-up. I had to reach back out on March 31st to continue addressing the issue. At that point, they asked for photos, despite my earlier explanation that photos would not prove anything because of the nature of the work. Today, they responded by saying the pictures were "not proof" and agreed to issue a refund, but only after I pushed the issue. At that point, it's no longer just about the money. It's about integrity, poor internal communication, and how a legitimate customer concerns are handled by this business.

He patiently explained the differences between products and gave me much needed insight. My contractor joined me during my appointment and helped too, Markell got that I was relying on my contractor to make some decisions for me, like do I want sanded or un-sanded grout. How would I know that? Markell never made me feel excluded. He never made me feel like he was man-splaining, which has happened to me plenty of times in home improvement stores. He even helped me load up my car. I really appreciated his kindness, patience and professionalism. I will definitely return to Floor & Decor, and I'd absolutely want to work with Markell again.
