Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon! There was a bit of a like out the door when we got there, but the staff was doing their best to get everyone's order ready! They were out of the egg coffee which I wanted to try, so I recommend coming earlier if you have a specific drink you want! I got the coconut coffee instead which was tasty. The coffee has a good strong flavor. I also love that they do pop ups with local small businesses (which is actually how I found out about the cafe!), and there was a cookie pop up happening while I was there. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're nearby! It's pretty small and doesn't have much seating so just be prepared to take out and not stay :)

Stopped by this stop in Brooklyn looking for some authentic Vietnamese coffee. This place was a nice coffee shop but I did not feel the coffee had as rich of viet coffee flavor in comparison to other viet coffee I have had. Overall still a good coffee shop tucked away in the neighborhood

Food/drinks: you cannot go wrong with ordering any drink, I swear I've tried 5-6 of their drink items so far!! My favorite cafe in NY, I take everyone here Atmosphere: so so cute but very small! Mainly bar high chair seating (maybe ~6 chairs?) has wifi, no outlets Service: very friendly!! Price: as expected

Very cute neighborhood coffee spot specializing in Vietnamese drinks. I went in first thing on a Thursday morning. Not too busy, but they had a steady stream of people going in and out. I got the iced Vietnamese coffee with salted caramel foam. It was very tasty and strong. There aren't too many places to sit (just bar seating) so I would not recommend for big groups. They are more geared towards people ordering coffee to go.

Incredible variety of Vietnamese coffees. They have an egg custard coffee that is excellent in taste, just enough sweetness and flavorful. The entire taste is balanced between the coffee and the custard, making a delightful creamy experience. Similarly, the ice green (coconut water and matcha cold foam on top) is really addicting and I have gone out of my way to plan my day around getting the ice green some weekends. There's a few window seats (6 to be exact) if you wanted to read a little. Place feels a little cold in the winter, especially since it's smaller and the door opens with frequent customers on the weekend I was there (which I'm glad to see!). The interior is really tastefully designed. They maximized this space with gorgeous colors and designs.

Destination cafe for strong Vietnamese-style coffees. Really cute and cozy cafe that we sought out for some egg coffees, after being inspired in Vietnam. I was not prepared for how strong they were, so this is a warning for the newbs. When walking into the place, I heard Phantogram playing and knew this was my vibe. It was a rainy afternoon and sitting at the window seats was the best way to spend it. There are several coffee drink options and I am curious to try the rest of the menu.

Cute cafe! Walked by one day but already caffeinated. Had a chance to be in the area again and had to swing by. Not crazy busy on a Weds early afternoon. I got the bac xiu, which was perfect for a warm day and as a second cup since there's less caffeine. It's a good thing it's not close to home or I'd be chilling here all day!

great coffee, great selection of snacks, cute quiet interior with space to work by the windows and some chairs by the picture wall

Was really excited to try this spot and their famous egg custard coffee. Was sorely disappointed 2/5... the egg custard was tasteless and the coffee was very average. I have tried the concept in other Vietnamese coffee shops in the west coast and this one unfortunately ranks on the bottom of my list . The custard should add a distinct taste to the drink it did not. It tasted like a regular ice coffee with cold foam. I will try it again since the gentleman at the bar told me the default barista and baker was out for the week.

Seriously wish I lived closer to Larry's, as it is one of the best coffees I have had since moving to the city. Great selection of specialty coffees and such a charming little spot. Wouldn't say it's a place to work from, it's more of a catch up with one other person type spot. I believe it was a couple there that was running the place, either way they have an efficient operation in place! They have a handful of sweet treat options that seem to vary by day. If i wasn't so full from lunch I would have tried one of the matcha cookies! I got the egg custard coffee iced-- it was a little over $7. SO good. Strong and the perfect sweetness. Coming here makes paying for overpriced lattes elsewhere seem so silly.

Larry's is a cozy coffee shop with a neighborhood-y vibe serving up good Vietnamese coffee drinks. Everyone inside was really friendly too. We came in on a Saturday when they were also hosting an event nearby. We tried the egg coffee and coconut coffee. Good stuff!

I'm a fan! So cool to find a Viet cafe in Brooklyn with good egg coffee and other interesting drink options. Got the passion fruit iced Jasmine tea. It was perfect! Not super sweet and very refreshing. I would definitely come back to try out their other drinks.

Yummy drinks in an adorable coffee shop with a heavy focus on community and culture. There's books and poetry all written by Vietnamese authors, and lots of little curated goods as well. The drinks were also phenomenal, I would definitely come back to try some of their variations of Vietnamese coffee. We went out of our way to try Larry's and absolutely don't regret it.

You've really went downhill. Everything is dreadfully smaller for the same price. You used to have a giant fluffy egg square on your breakfast sandwich and now I've gotten one lumpy small egg drenched in so much overly spicy sauce - that used to be more soft and palatable, I can't even taste anything else, to compensate for the lack of sandwich for over $12. Insane. The fries were the highlight of my meal and that's really saying a lot. $6.50 for one of the smallest iced coffees I've ever received... I think you're staying open on highway robbery alone. Or that the gentrifiers just don't give a damn. Honestly, I could've gotten something better at the Bodega for less than $35 after the Uber fees. I feel bad leaving this honestly, but... how you go from such a wonderfully established place to some dreadful experience is just sad. Do better, become yourself again, because unfortunately I won't be ordering anymore.

I first ordered a chai latte and he said I could do two different syrups so I got the pumpkin and salted maple, though I was worried about it being too sugary so he suggested I could just do half a pump of each. He asked me what the name of the order would be and I said "Aida" (the phonetic spelling is ah-EE-dah). And then I heard the other barista say something along the lines of, "oh Aida, how about 'Aida' rather not be here", pretty rude if you ask me. And then I ordered the spicy nook sandwich. And when another server called my named to grab it she didn't even knowledge me when I tried to thank her and instead she talked to her coworker while I was right in front of her. The sandwich was really good, so was my chai tea. I really like the pumpkin and salt and maple syrups too. I did like all the options for seating although it was pretty packed. I'd say if you have a big party get there early. By 7pm the whole place was filled. There was a huge majong club that came in and took the whole back area, it was so crammed there were lines for the bathroom. Over all I had a good time. I really like the music too just know it gets very busy in there. The employees I would say were hit or miss. The ones that were great though I really liked. Just seem like the ones who didn't really give attention to customers or were kind of rude seemed like they didn't wanna be there.
