Really really good subs found here. Was in need of a hearty sandwich after a night out and came here and was greeted with warm, friendly and helpful staff members that helped me make the right choice for my order. Fast service, did not wait longer than 5 minutes for my sandwich. After it was delivered, i sat and enjoyed it thoroughly. Mind changing experience. 10/10. Will be back for more. I stopped by Larry's as I was running errands yesterday to grab a quick bite to eat! as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. I told the young man that I had not been there before and he gave me a few of his recommendations I took him up on the Kongs Club! The sub only took about five minutes for them to prepare, and was delicious!! I did add chips in a drink and my total came out to a little over $13. Overall, it was a great experience! The restaurant was clean the service was great and the food was just as good. Highly recommend if you're in the area! * I also saw that they did catering! I did not look at the pricing of that but it looked like it would be a good option for an event!

I like these subs better than $ubway or Himmy Hohn's. I like them both but these are delicious. They use better meat, bread is fresh. I really like the sandwich dressing they add to make it sweet. Larry's is awesome

Have never had a bad service here...the food is always on point! My favorite is the New York Special...but everything I've had has been exceptional right down to the bun! My husband gets the BLT and that is amazing too! Can't say enough good things about this place! read more

Forget all those little sub shops you see in strip malls normally. This place is the real deal. I had driven by it dozens of times on the way to Kroger and finally went in today. I didn't know what I wanted, but I knew I wanted a hot sub. The guys working there suggested the Ultimate, which is roast beef, turkey and ham. I had mine fairly simple with lettuce, tomato, provolone and their Italian dressing. They even had fresh sweet tea for me. :-D I love love loved this sub sandwich. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends for their generous portions and high quality ingredients. They also have a diverse menu including soups, salads, sides and a kids menu. read more

Not much of a "sub guy" but when I have the rare craving for a sub- off to Larry's I go.. Overall a good place, the bread is nice and soft and the toppings taste amazing. I love that it reminds me of a NY deli style sub shop. The price is average to maybe a little high compared to the awful sub chain that America loves too much, but the quality of subs is outstanding compared to theirs. I'll definitely be back to Larry's. read more

This is one of my top sub shops (or as we call it in Connecticut Grinder shops) ever. Never disappointed with the service or quality of food. The bread is doughy yet toasted and delicious. Great for a fast place to grab and go or sit down and enjoy. read more

The only sandwich shop I visit. They know how to make a legitimate deli style sandwich. They have variety in their menu and the service is awesome. All the employees are very personable and have even remembered my order I don't even have to talk when I go there. They already know just how I like it. Try the Kong's club with extra bacon if you want to know why I keep coming back for more :) read more

The subs are less than giant. The hot subs are made with re-heated meats (I hate that). I asked if their steak and cheese was made fresh and they told me it was. They then proceeded to microwave the cooked and refrigerated steak and "freshly" assemble the sub. Try Jersey Mike's around the corner. It makes the hot stuff truly fresh. (I am in no way associated with ANY restaurant in Athen's, but I love good food) read more

It's ok. There aren't many sandwich alternatives since jersey Mikes went away. This isn't in the same league, but better than Subway. It's pretty hard to screw up a sandwich. They are just kind of boring and not the most fresh tasting things, especially considering how much they cost. The lettuce always looks kind of ragged. The people who work here move pretty fast, though, so it is a convenient lunch. The drawback is there aren't many tables, so sometimes there is nowhere to sit if it is busy. read more

These subs are okay but not any better than Subway. And they're definitely not giant. I'd call it Larry's Decent, Average-Size Subs. Oh, and there isn't a yelp page for the new location on the east side but it smelled so bad when I walked in that I walked right back out. read more
