In the past couple of months and before meeting Jeff, we got the opinion of a couple of remediation/mold inspectors. They were very unclear with their answers. We even had one say they would do the testing after another company (whom they recommended) took care of the "possible" mold issues. We were utterly confused and felt violated by the very shady behavior we had seen so far. When I called Jeff, he was patient and took the time to listen while I explained to him our situation (possible moisture and/or mold in basement), he immediately came over to check on the issue. He diagnosed the problem we were having by doing some tests for moisture/mold. He called me while he was at my home, I was out of state at that time, and let me know what he had found. He then followed up with a written statement a few days later. We had absolutely NO moisture and NO mold! We would recommend Jeff in a heartbeat. Hands down the most HONEST person we have met in this field. He is confident of his findings from what seems like years of experience. Thank you Jeff!

With a profession in engineering and purchasing, I checked around further and came across Paul Davis services (Jeff Doe). I could tell from the 1st 5-minutes that Jeff was the best choice for the job, and can testify that we could not have found a more knowledgeable, professional and honest person for our situation. Our damage was fairly involved, and it was dealt with in a manner in which I do not worry about future issues with mold or structural integrity. Excellent communication skills: Jeff goes above and beyond.

Wrong garage door, the opening is too big for the door - there are gaps - they refused to change. Broke outside water spigot - had water running in basement (we fixed). Two doors installed incorrectly. One won't latch unless the deadbolt is turned. Screen door won't latch. Garage ceiling boards have gaps. Garage is missing a truss. Resided the whole house - siding is uneven - they didn't remove the nails. Cement work is bad - can see light thru it. Charged for things they never did - painting, HVAC, plumbing. No cleanup of exterior rebuild - nails, etc. all around the house - we've had to clean up. Every excuse to not show up to work: truck won't start, someone quit, supposed to rain, truck won't start (again), funeral, someone got fired. Just empty promises.

The damage was cleaned and the problems came when Servepro was used to contract the job to do the repairs and put the home back together. As of today August 18th the only thing done is one room has been painted and the mudding and painting looks like a child could have done better with more attention to detail. There was no attempt to not make a mess, more than likely it will be included with the bill extra time for cleanup! The plumber they contracted and said was licensed and i am very skeptical; his name (Randy Lynner). The first day of the restoration process the cabinet was to be removed and the plumbing was to be capped. There was no authorization to take anything off the property. The plumbing was capped the marble counter top was removed and stolen; it was the only thing taken away from the site. It was a dual Marble counter top with two basins and two new faucets. The warped and water damaged base was left in the driveway minus the marble counter top. There was no clean up inside at all, the light bulbs for the light fixture were missing as well. There was broken glass on the floor that was left behind and some small pieces of the marble back splash that broke off as well as all the other dust and crap that comes with removing a base and top. The place was a mess. The explanation as to why it was the only thing taken, was not even close to being logical for any person of reason. He took it away because it was the only thing that would fit in his truck and he said he put it in a dumpster right away and called Chris from serve pro to pick up the base the rest of it. Well why not leave the entire thing and clean the house and turn my hot water heater back on. Was off for three days till I noticed it. The CO detector was disconnected and never hooked back up therefore causing it to fail completely and have to be replaced. My front door was repeatedly left wide open and unlocked and the key is now missing. Phone calls are not returned and the lack of professionalism is everywhere. They refuse to follow instructions and come and go as they please with no communication. In my case I have two very large dogs and I am very protective just as the dogs are. They refused to follow instructions concerning the dogs. For example: Putting my dogs in the garage all day long so they could be in the house for 5 minutes was no concern for them and would not schedule days for entire jobs to be done. Mudding a 60 sq ft room took two weeks and three seperate trips, and looks like crap, only one wall actually had to be mudded. Do yourself a favor and do not under any circumstance fool yourself into thinking Serve pro is going to be a good choice for restoring your home to anthing other than what they think should be done. You will get an arguement any time you ask something to be redone. They will take longer to explain why it cant be done rather than just doing right it in less time. I have called the police and filed a report and have retained an attorney. Estimated value of counter top based on craigslist and E-bay for similar marble tops is between 200.00 and 600.00 hundred dollars. Faucets about 30.00 ea, CO detector 45.00 ea, light bulbs 12 at 4.00 ea, Replace door locks 120.00 for lost key plus labor... Never using Serve-Pro again- Priceless!

It seemed very overwhelming the amount of damage that was left in its wake, but Schaun walked us through every step of the way. From dealing with the insurance company to mitigation and finally rebuilding the ceiling, floors, walls and everything else that needed to be replaced, Schaun and his team were on top of it every step of the way. The whole damage (which trust me was a lot) took eight or nine weeks total to rehab and most of that time was spent waiting for the insurance company to approve the claim. Even before the claim went through, Allied was at our house with air scrubbers, giant fans, and dehumidifiers to prevent any mold buildup that may have taken place since the leak. They were also on top of the insurance company to get our claim approved, and once it finally was, his crew was here the next day to get started on the work and continued to be here each day until the job was done. Schaun was very professional and courteous and his crew did a great job getting our house back in order. I would recommend them to others and use Allied Property Services again if anything like this ever happened again.

They did a great job improving the overall look without the need for a full replacement, which saved me a significant amount of money. They were easy to work with, transparent about what could realistically be achieved with repairs, and honest about the trade-offs between repairing and replacing. I really appreciated that they didn't try to upsell unnecessary work. Overall, I'm very happy with the results and would absolutely use them again.
