I found out 2 weeks ago, five years after she "completed" my child support modification (in 2019) that my court order is a useless pile of paper that she never got signed or dated by a judge. So I paid her, and child support cannot even enforce the order or the paperwork I have because it's not actually approved by a judge. What the heck did I pay her all that money for??? When I used her, I waited patiently and thought a busy lawyer is a good lawyer but boy I was fooled. Even this time around she ignored my calls and when she realized that I could see the read receipts of our texts, she started responding pretending to be her "assistant"...now she's gone MIA, left me on read and wont answer my calls or texts for any update....Just be careful and hire at your own discretion. I've recommended her to a few people and they all said she took forever to get back to them.... Hopefully I can get this figured out soon because this is a mess and I don't ever know where to begin fixing her mess up (shes blaming the clerk for)

She did not answer emails, texts or phone calls. She scheduled meetings and did not show up. Additionally, she never bothered to reschedule or call to change meeting times. I would recommend finding an attorney who values clear communication and prompt responses.

Tom was always a no-B.S. person, so don't go there looking for counseling or emotional hand holding. He's there to win your case. He's not rude, but you have to be prepared to understand that you have hired a litigator, not a paper pusher who just writes wills and trusts and does real estate closings. He can do that too, but his strength is in functioning as more than a basic "I can do it cheap" lawyer. I'd recommend him for serious work, you can probably get any mush from google to do the other stuff. Although like I said, it's not beneath him. The guy is a worker.
