She was wonderful to talk to, so kind, and provided me with a great tour and answered all of my questions. The Canopy is nothing short of amazing and I felt right at home. Walking into the one bedroom home I immediately was in awe of the openness, high ceilings, and fine finishes. After living in apartments for so many years it is wonderful to see that these are single level-detached apartments that are similar to and give you single family homes vibes. Beyond the homes I love that there are hammocks and a fitness center, which is well equipped with pelotons, free weights, and elipitcals. I can so see myself living and relaxing at the Canopy! I can't wait!

Parking was the biggest complaint for me. I would have to park on the opposite side of my apartment in order to find a spot. People would put cones in their spots to save them! They wouldn't extend our lease by a couple days so we could move out on the weekend. Instead we had to move out after work AND turn in keys that day before they closed in order to not get a fee... Neighbors can hear everything. Forcing you to go with the worst internet company ever, centurylink, is an absolute joke. We had our entire deposit taken and more charged because it was dirty.

They put us in a unit we did not agree on, it was a completely different unit and then charged us almost $1,000 just to move from one unit to another. They never put work orders in properly, there's not one camera on the property, I have had things stolen multiple times, the children/teenagers are never monitored or supervised here (they literally run a muck, they damage things constantly), I've had neighbors tell me that their cars have been broken into and/or stolen, another neighbor told me they refused to address the issue of there being termites in her unit (they basically told her to deal with it)..... the list goes on and on! ​​

She told folks to have their spouses drop them off near the barricades and then walk to their apartments. What about those who live alone and have no help???? The complex is also filled with dog poop and litter everywhere, the dumpster are always overflowing, and apartments are filled with mold, roaches, crickets, or lizards. Bring back Joseph and Christine. At least things were getting done when they were here! Paying $2000 for this is insane.

Only issues I have are the smokers who ruin the air for everyone and the train that goes all day and night and blows the horn excessively. There really should be a smoking section and a non smoking section. I'd give it more stars if it wasn't for the smokers making it miserable for non/ex smokers like me who would like to enjoy our patios that we pay for and can't. Someday, someone is going to sue an apartment complex for allowing smoking in a community living situation. Maybe then apartment complexes will get a clue and either make it non smoking or separate smokers from non smokers. Plus they leave their cigarette butts everywhere.

When I report a maintenance concern in our unit response is quick, often same day. I love living here, the community is friendly and helpful . Rides to shopping and doctors appointment is available for no added cost. Activities are going on daily and all are welcome to join in, activities include clubs for knitting, games, meditation, work out, domino, cards, gardening, a library is on property and a heated pool and hot tub are well maintained. Just about anything you want or need is available. You will be as busy as you want to be, or not. Close to shopping and services, including close to doctors. All units are ground level and single story. Southwest architectural design throughout. Pet friendly and small dog areas are throughout the property. Parking is covered, and lots of extra parking for visitors. Storage units are available for 25. Dollars extra a month, not large storage unit about 8 by 12, and storage on each patio on the unit. Closets are big, water pressure is good, able to place your own washer and dryer in your unit or use the small laundry room provided for one dollar wash and one dollar dry.
