When you come in, you're greeted by warm smiles and positive energy. I've been here every time I come back to NY, and their consistency for making great sandwiches is unmatched. I get the Turkey, Roast Beef, and Provolone Hero hot with The Works (Lettuce, Tomato, onions, oil and vinegar) and it's amazing every time! I normally grab a big bag of Wise Onion and Garlic chips to compliment the Hero and it pairs perfectly. Anytime you're hungry and want a great Hero sandwich, this is the place to get it. The guy who owns it now is very thorough when it comes to made on the premise. Their Coast law and macaroni salad are to die for. Get a hero on the specialty board and it comes with side salad and a canned soda or a bottled water for 14 bucks you can't beat it. 95% of the stuff there is homemade. I recommended highly give the guy a chance they're trying very hard. I love the hydrant sandwich, but they have many others that are just as good.

The cost is almost $7 dollars which is normal these days, but they literally put a half an egg on the roll. I was too far away to go back in and say something. My daughter couldn't even eat it because it was basically a $7 roll. There was hardly any cheese as well. My advise to the Deli is make sure you give the customer what they pay for. I will not being going back and they basically stole my money.
