Bagels
Miyoshi S.

Bagels are always fresh. Staff is always pleasant. Makes my morning easy. My sandwich is always perfect

Italian hero with more lettuce and tomato than ALL the meat.

15 dollars for a hero that was basically bread. I can go to the super market and get a better one. They used to care. Unfortunate because the bagels are one of the best around. This place has sold out.

Long wait but so worth it

I love their flagels!! I usually get everything toasted flagel with chicken, lettuce, tomato, onion and Mayo! It's sooo good! The place gets busy but they are pretty quick with the orders! I would say this is the best bagel spot in Patchogue!

Paper thin BEC

I waited 20 minutes and paid $7 for this. Thinnest bacon I've ever seen and longest I've ever waited for a BEC in my life. Not even that busy this morning. Save your time and spend $4 instead of $7 at literally any other deli on LI

The word FAMOUS does give you the feeling that something great is about to happen here but I was left with feelings of disappointment. I came here on a Friday afternoon about 1:30 end it seems like slim pickens on the bagels and they ran out of rolls. I did choose a croissant in lou of and it was good. The taste was very similar to the ones I get at Costco. The sandwich was good but nothing to write home about. The employees were very helpful and kind but my concerns are that the person helping me had very long designer nails , my fear is that these nails are a breading ground for bacteria. As a former nail technician I know this to be true. I do have to say I did NOT see her actually touch any food but after seeing the dirty floors and the smudged up front door and the man eating behind the counter I lost my trust that somewhere down the line she is probably touching someones food.

Ever crave a sloppy Long Island Egg Sandwich??

When I see signs for "Famous" or "Worlds Best Coffee", to me that's a challenge. That's a bold statement, famous. Have the Goldbergs made something so insane it gives them the famous title? I walk into the deli about 8am and the place is empty. I see two hard working people behind the counter. I'm not in the mood for a bagel, I have a craving for a sloppy egg sandwich. I don't care if its famous, I want it done correctly. I ask the gentleman behind the counter to make a loose scrambled egg sammy with sausage on a roll. Not a problem I'm told. For under $5 bucks you get a egg sammy with either a coffee or small OJ. I rarely eat eggs so this seems like a good deal. I sit down by the window, the table/area is dirty. The egg sammy? It was ok, nothing out of the ordinary to make it famous. Here's my issue with any Long Island deli, they take everything out of the Boars Head wrapper. All they do is slice the meat, slap on some cheese and spread on a condiment. Does that make one famous? I mean, we're at a time where everyone gets a trophy. So the famous title?? Unless these bagels are blessed with unicorn tears, its a typical Long Island deli-bagel joint.

This place is great. Came here after seeing they have tofu cream cheese and when we walked in we were greeted with big smiles and the employees were very friendly. It's a cute little place right on Main St. The bagels were very flavorful. They weren't as big as I'm use to but they are delicious. They had two types of tofu, scallion and veggie. I opted for the scallion. They also have ginormous muffins which looked amazing.

The overboard

By far one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten and I love sandwiches..I do not know how the place got such bad reviews... no parking? There's a huge parking lot right behind the store.. rude customer service? Well go for the food not s friendship.. as far as the sandwiches they are on point. I had the " overboard " it was a chicken cutlet with avocado, melted cheese, bacon and mayo. Amazing. I like that they have whole wheat flagels. It's s flat bagel bc when eating Sandwich who needs All the bread..I wish they had s couple tables out side...

I'd give a negative review if I could. Horrible service and bad food quality. Don't bother spending your money here.

The longish sort of line seemed promising, but the hold up wasn't because everyone needed a bagel from here, it was only because of a discrepancy of some sort. The staff was hustling, and eggs were being flipped right behind the counter and everything looked like it was kept clean. The service is a bit subpar. I was skipped over, which seemed to be an honest mistake so I didn't fuss. More pissed at the dude that speak up to say I was next. I guess chivalry is dying. The bagel itself was also subpar. I ordered an everything flagel with olive cream cheese. It wasn't bad by any means it just wasn't anything special. The star of the show was the cream cheese. Wasn't too olivey and you can tell it was pretty fresh. Nothing was labeled so I couldn't tell you what other cream cheeses they had. The menu was digital and was hung on the wall behind the counter. It didn't have much besides the list of bagels and before I could try to read more it would flash off. This place is fine in a pinch, but I'm not running back any time soon.
