    Aguachiles

Best Mariscos in town. You can order a michelada mix, oysters, ceviche and my personal favorite...aguachiles. Best aguachiles I've ever had.

a fork and spoon in a container

Nice presentation but I ordered the aguachiles and the shrimps were NOT deveined which is disgusting I wasted $14.

    DISGUSTING SHRIMP

THIS IS FOR THE NEWLY OPENED RESTAURANT AT 300 Oak I have said in the past that one of the Mexican restaurants I ate in was the worst I had ever eaten in but this one is the worst of ANY restaurant I have eaten in. We saw Pete Tittl's wonderful write up re this establishment so we thought we would give it a try. We arrived at 11:20 for lunch. When we walked in the door a server behind the register told us to go ahead and seat ourselves so we did. Twenty minutes later we had not been approached yet so I got up looking for someone to service our table. The same server who appeared to be working alone came to our table bringing one menu. Apparently you must share menus. About ten minutes later he came back and asked us if we were ready to order. He still had not taken our drink order so Donna asked for water and I asked for an 805 plus water. Fifteen minutes later he came with one glass of water and my 805. Donna ordered the crab tostada and I ordered the tostada mixta. At least 20 minutes later he brought out two tostadas one with fake crab and nothing else and the other with a very thin layer of ceviche topped with fake crab, four very thin slices of octopus and four uncleaned (NON deveined) shrimp. EVERYTHING BUT THE SALSA WAS DISGUSTING. When I left my food mostly untouched we finally went to the register to pay the bill and complain about the food. After telling the woman at the register how bad everything was and the fact that the shrimp were not cleaned, she said "that is the way shrimp are served in Mexico" Having lived in Mexico for ten years I politely told her that is NOT the way shrimp are served there and she said nothing. Now if we were the only patrons being fed this disgusting food and atrocious service, it would be one thing but EVERY customer that came in was experiencing the same. DISGUSTING AWFUL SERVICE AND FOOD. THIS RESTAURANT SHOULD BE CLOSED.

First off the portions if the food are huge and definitely filling ( I took mine home to eat later in the hotel.) Great plate great food and nice seating in the front.

Meat choices: bacon, carne asada, chorizo and al pastor Standard fillings: shredded cheese, salt, butter, sour cream, green onions and jalapenõs Potato is baked, filling is scooped out, adding, butter, salt (always order no salt), sour cream and a bit of shredded cheese. Everything is then mashed together and added back to the potato shell (kinda like a twice baked potato). Then topped with shredded cheese, choice of meat (I ordered bacon), green onions and pickled jalapenõs. All flavors come together beautifully and the texture is very creamy and delicious. My potato was about $15, price is right on point. They also offer roasted corn, esquite, a couple of different types of nachos. This is a food truck located on the east side of Pemex (County Line Road) The offer some outdoor seating. Parking is ok but shared with the gas station. They accept call-ins and walk-ups. Cash or card Service is quick and very friendly. Ambiance is very laidback. Support your local small business.

Thanks to my Yelp friends Sharlette and T S, we decided to come here…read more We went on the evening of April 1 and this was no April fools joke the food was legit. We got there a little late since they started at 5 and we got there at 7, but had time to go into recon mode and scout out what we wanted. As usual my wife and son broke off and made other choices...and as usual after they had a bite of mine they kicked themselves for not getting what I chose. My wife got something from the "healthy" truck, my son chose Wise Barbecue and I decided on Kim Bob Rex Sushi - Burrito truck and after so many choices decided on the Mighty Eel burrito. I probably should have taken a better picture of the menu to tell you everything in it, but two pieces of Eel I remember and I believe snow crab surrounded by rice and it seemed like a soy paper burrito wrap. Whatever was in it besides that was just a little slice of delicious and I enjoyed every last bite. There are shared tables here at this and the woman across said she had gotten the Big Fat Alaskan Sushi Burrito with salmon and avocado and she really enjoyed it. Like me, first time eating a sushi burrito. After we finished we made our way to the La Donut truck for dessert. We split a glazed donut with coffee ice cream and Nutter-Butter cookies on it. The nice woman on the truck when asked said they make their donuts fresh daily and it was a big hit. I would highly recommend coming here and getting out of your comfort zone of being enclosed in four walls to eat good food.

Bring your jackets and warm hat because it's freezing out here. I could go in my truck but that's no fun, just the smell of all the different flavors of food cooking, is worth sitting outside freezing your butt off. Every week they rotate trucks, if you want to know whether or not your favorite truck will be out here, just follow them on Instagram. Most of them do accept credit cards but, bring cash just in case. Bring your doggies, there's treats and water for them too. Lol (where do you find that but in Santa Clarita) Lol Food truck prices $10-$15 a plate pretty reasonable. Stop by on Saturdays, you won't be disappointed.
