Tried this out for lunch today as the normal spot I go to was a bit of a drive for me on a short lunch food was delivered in a timely manner there is a lot of seating and parking under a big patioish area my food was nice and cold very flavorful the seafood was very clean and the extra salsas I got had a nice kick pretty good experience will definitely come back only complaint is there's no menus or prices on anything and I hate asking how much stuff cost

Some of the best overall Mariscos in all of Bakersfield!! The servers were extremely polite and respectful, and greeted my wife and I with a smile throughout the entire experience. It was a cold night when we stopped by, but the employees and owner made sure to make us feel warm and welcomed as they rushed to turn on a gas heater near us for warmth. We got the mojara combo 2, Camarones a la diabla, oysters, cóctel preparado. Everything was amazing and will definitely be going back soon!

This food truck has plenty of options. Anything from ceviche to seafood empanada. This truck focuses on only seafood. I highly recommend the empanadas! They were delicious. Crispy empanadas filled with shrimp 10/10. The fish ceviche was okay, nothing special and would not order again. 5/10. The púlpito mixto was also good. 7/10. Overall the location is good and clean with friendly service. PLEASE NOTE THEY ARE CASH ONLY!

This is not a inside ac restaurant!! There's benches and tables where you can sit and enjoy the food outside. It's pretty hot and humid but the food is well worth it! We ordered the chicharrón de camarón which is basically fried shrimp. The green sauce it comes with it was to die for but really spicy for some! The shrimp were fried to perfection with so much flavor in them. The rice was tasty as well. We also ordered the oysters prepared (with shrimp and onions and tomatoes and avocado). Fresh and delish! The aguachiles with shrimp and scallops were a hit as well. The right amount of spiciness and salt. We also ordered a tostada with scallops and a cocktail with oysters. Everything was just fresh and so delicious! The downside was that the wait is loooooong and also that they only accept cash. This place is a must here :0)

Driving down the road and stumbled onto a random taco truck and thought let's spin the roulette wheel in dining. The truck is located on Ming Ave across from the fairgrounds. There is street parking and what appears to be an empty lot behind the truck to park. I first noticed that the menu was in Spanish but I muddled my way through with my limited translation abilities. I ordered the shrimp tacos as this trucks name mentions "Mariscos" which I know is seafood specialties. I saw they did offer everything from seafood empanadas to the standard fair of shrimp cocktail to ceviche. The shrimp tacos arrived and I discovered it was deep fried battered shrimp. Small nuggets but had a decent flavor. The taco boasted of a cucumber, purple cabbage, and tomato slaw with a cream sauce drizzled over the tacos. The taco was finished off with a thin slice of avocado. I found several bottles of various hot sauces on the picnic tables for your dining pleasure. I tried several of them that ranged from mild red to a spicy green habanero sauce. Overall the taco was decent but I prefer grilled shrimp and a tad bigger pieces of shrimp. It was daytime when I visited so I had no issues. Not sure about after dark as a time I would try and definitely wouldn't park on the street at night. Traffic was zipping by at a heighten pace.

Food was good! Empanadas de camaron were fresh and full of shrimp. Their sauces were good and they have as variety, will definitely be returning.

I went to the new location I only bought 2 bowls, 2 halo halos and 4 lumpias and my bill was $90+. Some of the food is marked at $2 extra and other items are $3 extra, if the bowl is $14 but you choose pancit and caldereta for example that's about $20 the bowl. We ordered the Bakersfield Picante noodles and the Hibachi Shrimp. Now some of the reviews on here are claiming small portion size. Well let me set that record straight. The bag was so heavy I almost dropped them when he handed it to me. Now to the food. I'm going to start with the rice and move my was up. First. Wow. It's really nice to have someone who really knows how to make fried rice. Moist without being greasy flavorful and plentiful! Next came the veggies, a great mix of carrots, zucchini , bell Peppers and onions. Cooked and crisp at the same time. Perfectly seasoned and not mushy. I was impressed.... Moving up the ladder of delish I had the picante noodles... and I must say.. simply amazing. Soft to the bite and perfectly chewy. Covered in a picante sauce ( hence the name) that was just short of sublime. Now. The star of the show. The shrimp and scallops. Cooked to perfection and PLENTIFUL! there was as much protein as there was veggies...It was amazing. We had the Hibachi shrimp as well... everything I just said about the Picante noodles... goes for the Hibachi. I moved out of Bakersfield but every time I visited, I had to make sure I go to this place. This time I brought my friends who also live in bigger cities, but everyone ended up falling in love with this place and couldn't stop talking about it. I'm so happy that they moved from the food truck location to a nicer place and more central to the nicer part of Bakersfield (near riverwalk) . My friends who I took to this place, still rave about the food they had here. It's so authentic, delicious, and just special. You ordered at the counter, and during lunch time there are options to get the lunch combo which are two types of dishes with rice or naan. I usually chose the usual, either tikka masala, butter chicken, or curry. But this time I wanted to try something I never got from the menu, which is the Shahi Matar chicken. Oh.My.God, it was the bomb! It's sooo good. The other thing that I always got was the veggie pakora. It goes sooo well with the curry dishes. Amazing. Services were pretty fast, around 10mins of wait during busy lunch time. If you didn't finish the food (which they give you really good portion), they have the lids for everything and ready to take home. Everytime I go back to Bakersfield, I always ensure to come here and bring my visitor friends here too. I already miss all the food here.

They have an extensive menu, and it took me a while to figure out what to order. To her credit, the cashier took her time explaining the various options available and was patient in answering my menu questions. I ended up ordering one of the lunch combos with chole masala, chicken tikka masala, and naan along with a mango lassi. I'm happy that the employee steered me away from the a la carte menu, because the lunch combo was quite a filling meal. Both the chole and chicken tikka masalas were well-seasoned, and the naan had an excellently flaky texture. The ambience was casual, and I felt welcomed by the cashier (though some of the looks by other diners highlighted how much I differed from the primarily South Asian customers during my lunch). I would definitely revisit during a future Bakersfield stop.
