Chimichanga dinner. Eh, not so great.
    Christina W.

Very disappointing experience. We came here with high hopes for an authentic Mexican dinner and a Groupon to spend. Hubby ordered the Verde Enchiladas and loved them. He devoured the entire meal so quickly. Came with a mound of rice and a small tortilla bowl filled with regrows beans. Son ordered beef chimichanga and said it was ok. But not as good as at other restaurants. Came with the same rice and beans as above. I ordered the combo #4: one chicken flouta, one pork tamale, and one cheese enchilada. Served with a mound of rice and a small tortilla bowl filled with refried beans. My meal came later because they were out of the Chicken tamales (I originally ordered chicken then changed to pork when they told me they were out). You would think that my food would have been the freshest meal at the table. And you would be wrong. The flouta was hard as a rock and looked like they re-fried a leftover flouta. The chicken inside was so dry it was stringy. They brought me another flouta. Guess what? Not as hard, but just as old and disgusting. The tamale was definitely not freshly made. It wasn't even served in a husk! Tasted like something from the freezer. Best food on my plate was the cheese enchilada. THAT was very delicious. I also devoured the refried beans as that's always my favorite part of any Mexican dinner. Best part of our dinner was the appetizer of chips and three salsas served same time as our waters. There was a green very spicy salsa, a red mild salsa and a ceviche type of salsa. They were all very tasty. First restaurant we've been to that has Happy Hour from 11am - 3pm! Strange.

The ambiance is only three stars. Rather cheap tables, chairs, etc. so if you are looking for upscale reset your expectations. Their sauces are five star awesome. Every sauce was great but their green sauce is simply the best I ever had: so much flavor and there is a great burn. I love enchiladas so I got the Enchiladas Verde with ground beef (sore teeth from braces change). The Enchiladas Verde was excellent: there was a bright, citrus flavor to the sauce with a good burn from spice. They bring a small shell filled with refried beans and that was a nice treat. My son had the chimichanga and it was excellent: really flavorful. The only negative was my wife's meal where the flauta was rather hard (the first one was harder than the second but neither was good). I will come again but we will stick to enchiladas and chimichangas.

    Camarones a la plancha. Gross

Ugh, let me tell you how disappointing this place is. I ordered los camarones a la plancha (grilled shrimp) and received 5 tiny FRIED shrimp. The waitress and I sent it back because we thought they made a mistake in the back I need to find out we were wrong. THEY ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE FRIED. My husbands meal was also disappointing. He received a few pieces of chicken and a little cup of beans. This place is overpriced and the dishes have no flavor. They try to make up a dish by adding a "salad" and French fries. Really tried liking this place and tried it 3 times. All times were disgusting. Would not recommend. Not worth the money. Service sucks too. Take a while to bring chips, drinks, and place an order.

LOVE, this restaurant! Another wonderful evening at Las Cazuelitas celebrating my niece, Rachel's birthday! The Margarita's and dinner were excellent as usual. The music was awesome and in a very comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Carlo your service was outstanding! Thank you!

Went here for the first time the other day and my bf & I loved the food we got! I got a steak torta, he got a steak taco and a sope de rajas. He got a La Jefa michelada and I got a guava & strawberry margarita. 10/10 for everything!

(too saucy....) and the pierogis (not enough flavor and too oily, but not at fault of kitchen staff). The menu has tons of variety too, and their specials change out so regularly i cant keep up! The drinks ive gotten there have been phenomenal so far, and the mocktails dont make you feel like youre missing out on any fun. In addition to the Food, the service is positively delightful. Our server last time i went was also the bartender, and the other staff were kind enough to step in and help him with our orders, and he himself was more than helpful enough. The interior of the resturaunt was beautiful with wonderful lighting and a very cohesive layout, but i do have two complaints: the tables are very small and the booths are very low. When you order at a tapas resturaunt, you dont really get just one or two plates at a time, and when a solid quarter of the table is being occupied by the standup menus, the water glass, and the decorative flowers, it gets crowded very quickly. Overall a 9/10. Definitely a wonderful place to go with friends, family, or even on your own!

The girls they hire to work here can be VERY rude, the food is not great, I think this is really just a place people get together and drink at so the environment isn't very relaxing. The couple times I've been here there is always loud drunk people.

For certain the name implies it's like a hangout. There's a pretty casual atmosphere along with a few TVs for watching games or something. Amazing it wasn't too busy. It's really not a big place so there's not much room. There were a few seats at the bar so we sat there. Pretty impressive menu. So many choices for vegans and vegetarians. It's about $6 for the cocktail specials, so check the menu board. The best of these is the Long Island 52, which is a pretty standard one. It's about $6 for tacos, which are the small street style you can eat in a few bites. We got some of the Herbivore Tacos. Has black beans, roasted corn, and vegan versions of chorizo and sriracha aioli. It's about $12 for nachos. These are loaded with tons of toppings. For sure it's got a lot to choose from.
