The food is one of the most authentic food I've ever tasted and it's not made like most americanized restaurants that play off Mexicans and El Salvadorian culture. The work environment is filled with respect and even with a lot of order they do there best to attend to everyone's needs! People that complain are very inpatient, I've noticed that every time I've gone there but most of the time the owner is there to handle any situation with respect and care! Yucky yucky yucky! $20.00 I will NEVER get back! (I was headed to the roasted chicken place next door that is absolutely amazing.) I saw this place and decided to give them a try. WHAT A MISTAKE! The first thing I noticed was how inflated the prices were! At least 40% more than other Latin places in area. I didn't want to walk out; so I stayed The kid working the counter (20'ish) was as incompetent as the food. He didn't know the menu and couldn't answer any questions. He spoke to me in Spanish and seemed confused when i spoke back in Spanish. So, I switched to English and then he really got confused. So I finally say to him (in Spanish) "why are you so confused? You don't understand English, or spanish... I don't know what else I can do for you other than speak to you in Arabic!" Very annoying! I ordered the consume and meat with a Fanta soda. $20, I will never get back! The soup was luke warm at best. Flavorless flavorless flavorless! The soda was just above room temperature. The meat was some type of shredded beef that was mushy! Proving that they are recycling the left overs from previous days. The rice was equally as flavorless... the two corn patties you could tell were previously frozen and not even warm. They were horrible. Anyone that says this place is good, is because they don't know any better! That's how this place makes any money. I don't see them being around too long. There are other restaurants in the area that are half the price and 100 times better. The bathrooms were horribly dirty. Poop splash on toliet! You could tell it had not been clean in awhile. A fuel station bathroom is in much better shape. The restaurant was dirty and neglected! ***MY FINAL THOUGHT: STAY AWAY!!!! Take your money next door to chicken place or go down the street! This place was amazing!! the food and environment felt like home, the owner was very nice and greeted us very nicely. customer service was great along with the food being very authentic. i got a steak bowl which was a very nice home style, fresher version of chipotle and was amazing and filling. then also got the birra tacos which were very good as they were not drenched in grease which made it more enjoyable!! then of course took some pupusas to go. this business did an amazing job combining both Salvadorian food with Mexican food. overall i loved this place and would come again when in the area!!! read more

My family comes in maybe once a week and let me tell you this is the best place in Hagerstown for tacos and pupusa's. So fresh and authentic not to mention Delicious!!! You want those birria tacos with the cheese pull this is the place for you! You can find a number of Mexican drinks in glass bottles and ice cream and other desserts like flan and tres leches. I have not had one bad thing here ever! The staff is always helpful and sweet. We always take a table in the back and have the nicest time.
