I know it's against state law to do this crap, so what is happening here? Then we order food and drinks, less than 5 minutes go by and another solicitor is trying to sell us cupcakes. We almost walked out, but we waited for our food which was good...for the most part. But you could tell that the sausage got left in too long and sucked up quite a bit of dirty smoke. If you don't want to be heckled when you go out, THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO.

Now, in their defense, all tacos plates come with five...though they are somewhat on a small side...about 3 1/4 in. in diameter. I opted for al pastor, and I was not disappointed. Flavor was very good, and fresh condiments added refreshing taste to it to cut down on some greasiness. Guacamole sauce was a bit runny, but it did add some freshness. You'd better be careful with salsa...it's very hot (at least to me). Customer service is very good. A very pleasant lady takes orders and process payments. Orders came out fairly fast...about 5 minutes. I can handle that even during extreme heat waiting under the sun these days.

From the hostess, to the management and any staff member that came by to check on us. The main dining room where we sat was relatively empty, with families coming in and out. The music was at the right volume (very upbeat and energetic), it added to the amazing ambiance and view. The bar area was empty but inviting. For starters, we got the flamed cheese and added chorizo, with flour tortillas! We ended up ordering extra tortillas and the snack was phenomenal. It was a great choice and came out extra hot!!! The entrees were a large serving, I got the Chicken Enchiladas with rice and much sauce. I was full so I was unable to finish the meal but it was prepared well for take-out. Super rich and full of flavors that make you close your eyes as you contemplate the dozens of ingredients that went into this culinary explosion. I'd highly recommend Julio's to anyone. They have three locations around El Paso with a diverse menu including tacos, enchiladas, soups, steak, and seafood. Check them out when you are in town.
