If you are thinking about booking a sailing do it. The experience was amazing. The vibe was really romantic, from the music, "candles", and views. The gondola was spacious, clean, and smooth. It is also covered, so if it rains you will be fine. I booked the 8:30 sailing, which was 150 for a hour and a half. If you park in the garage listed on the email, it will be five dollars. And is located really close to gondola location(less than a five min walk). Our captain Carmelo was great. I loved his personality, jokes, and attention to detail. He made the experience very comfortable and safe. If I book again I would request he. Overall, I'll give this company five stars. Really made date night with my partner feel special!! read more

This is definitely a memorable experience! I had had this bookmarked for ages, hoping to do it one day. I just didn't know if and when I would. Imagine my surprise then when I was told that I would be accompanying three others a few days before Christmas on a gondola ride to see the sunset. I was floored. For once I wasn't the planner. I was just the attaché and it felt so lovely. Everything was taken care of and I didn't have to lift a finger. We showed up early, even got to speak to gondolier Martha who didn't happen to be our gondolier but was super nice. Eventually our gondolier came. His name was Carmelo and he was simply the best. The entire ride was around an hour and a half give or take. We managed to seamlessly get around, partaking in the beautiful views with those huge mansions. The inside of the gondola was clean and cute. You could drink wine, bring some food as well, but we didn't as we had dinner plans that evening. That and honestly I think none of us thought about it. It didn't matter though. We got to chat away and enjoy the breeze as we rowed on by. I thought this was very relaxing and romantic. I can see why people book this for proposals or even anniversaries. I enjoyed talking to Carmelo when I could, seeing as I was between two conversations. I was in speaking French mode, and aside from me, one in our party also spoke English (consequently who booked everything), so my brain was all over the place. I don't think it mattered much though. We felt comfortable and respected for our differences, which is something I wish every person in this world cared about to make others feel. Everyone in our group loved this. We felt it was worth the cost and more so what it represented to us - time together in a unique setting. Definitely would like to do this again, especially considering that at the end of the ride, they gave us a few $25 off coupons. How's that for some kind of wonderful? read more

My wife surprised me with a sunset cruise for our 33rd anniversary. Carmelo was our Gondolier Du Jour and made sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable on the voyage. We had brought along a bottle of bubbly to sip on while sailing and Carmelo provided all the ice and glassware for us to enjoy it. You can tell he really loves his job and is adept at reading his passengers to provide a customized experience for each trip. So many of these excursions provide a dusty overused script that the guide sticks to no matter the situation. Not Carmelo.
