Best experience ever!!!! This was a last minute venture before heading to the airport that evening. Ingrid was super nice!!! She arranged our boat ride for us based on the time we needed. Ingrid also suggested great food places not far from the docking area for us to pick up food. Once we arrived at the dock Captain Rashad was waiting for us and helped us all onto to the beautiful boat. It was 6 of us so the Four Winns gave us plenty of room and space. They also provided a cooler, water and ice. Captain Rashad WAS THEEEEEEE BEST!!! He made sure we were good, very pleasant and friendly personality. He truly made the trip PLEASANT AND FUNNNNNNNNN!!!! The sitting areas on the boat were very comfortable, the cushions were plush, very clean boat throughout-brand new actually! We had an issue with one of the passengers losing his wallet in the water when we stopped to swim. He realize once we were heading back to the docks that he had his wallet inside his trunk pockets and that it fell out while in the water. Captain Rashad immediately phoned into Ingrid to explain, Ingrid was very understandable and even concerned about the wallet and us missing our flights. We started heading back to the area where we were swimming to hopefully find the wallet. We didn't find the wallet, however, time had passed and now we're panicking that we were going to miss our flight. But thanks to Captain Rashad for getting us safely back to the docks, we all caught our flights in time! Both Ingrid and Captain Rashad played a huge role in making my bday celebration SPECIAL!!!! WE WILL DEFINITELY BE USING BAYMINGO Boat Rentals AGAIN the next time we're in Ft Lauderdale, FL. And the PRICES ARE GREAT TOO!!!

Overall, this was one of the best boating trips Our group had the best day ever on this 27ft boat in Fort Lauderdale! It was clean, comfortable, and the whole booking process was a breeze thanks to Ingrid's awesome hospitality. The captain was a true pro, making sure we had a smooth, safe, and fun ride. It was great knowing that fuel was included, so no extra costs to worry about! We'll definitely be booking this boat again--can't recommend it enough! read more

My daughters friends wanted to rent a boat to surprise her for her 25th birthday and we happens upon Baymingo. It's The best boat rental company in Lauderdale - exceptional customer service - Ingrid was quick to reply to inquiry and super easy to work with. We booked the 27' boat which holds 12 people. The boat is brand new and super comfortable. After reading other reviews we request Franco as our captain and Ingrid made sure we got him. He was the absolute best, super funny and personable, and accommodating. We did a four hour rental and it was perfect. Inner coastal, mangroves, sand bar stop to swim... what I also liked is there are no hidden fees, everything, including gas, big onboard cooler with water and ice that easily fit all the adult beverages and food we brought. It's a short boat ride that takes you through the canals behind the mansions and quasi-famous homes on the water. Your guide on board will tell you about the homes and landmarks you pass en route. There is a bar on board, so no need to sail sober! LOL There are also a few snacks for purchase. The air movement on the boat keeps you from getting too warm, even when the sun is blazing, but don't forget your sunscreen. There's no bad seat aboard. All in all, it's a nice little boat ride if you're looking to get outside and burn some time in Fort Lauderdale. There is a string of food shops along the waterfront outside the entrance, so you can plan to grab lunch or dinner before or after your ride. We really enjoyed our trip, but I'm deducting one star due to the boat traffic (which I know they cannot really help). Maneuvering around all the other drunks in their watercraft was kind of a drag.

I have visited Deerfield Island Park twice since it reopened earlier this summer. It is a Broward…read morecounty park and free to visit. There were a lot of upgrades made. The paths are well marked and wide. There are benches along the paths. There are picnic tables and water fountains on the island. The trails are appropriate for most abilities. The island is well shaded. There are a few butterfly statues which make for a nice photo op. You catch the shuttle boat at Sullivan Park, it runs on the hour between 10 and three Friday through Sunday. Parking is convenient ( and free) in the large lot. If you have children you could also visit Sullivan Park. Local lore has it that Al Capone buried some treasure here although it has never been found. You can see all the island in about an hour but could make a day of it with a picnic lunch.
