Had a fantastic lunch yesterday. Our server, Bertha, was nothing short of fantastic and made it a great experience. We ordered the Fajitas for Two, which was a ton of food with very tender steak, fresh onions, and the expected sides of rice and beans. Before our meal, we were offered both the hot and mild salsa....the hot was more to our liking, and had a nice bite on the back end. Definitely going to go back and try more! read more

I remember getting enchiladas and a couple other things to-go. The food was mediocre at best. The bigger problem here was the hostess/cashier and the order itself. When I got it home there were at least three things wrong with the order - something I didn't order, something I ordered that wasn't there, and a couple other things were messed up. I remember the hostess/cashier kept having me repeat myself on several different things about the order. So, I guess she was new? She clearly did not know what she was doing. Let me preface this: I am biased because I prefer another mexican dine in restaurant over Las Palmas. This does NOT mean Las Palmas is a bad place to eat, or that their food is bad. But If I prefer one of them over the other, surely one has to be rated lower right? Beyond that I have dropped it another star because of the fact that while said other restaurant didn't seem to raise prices hardly at all through all this inflation, las palmas raised them somewhat considerably depending on the menu item. I used to LOVE Las Palmas. This used to be my fav restaurant, and everytime I came here I would get the Fajitas. It was so hecking yummy. I would also alwasy ask for extra tomatoes. THey were hit or miss with whether they seemed to actually put any extra tomatoes on the fajita platter or not, so. Your mileage may vary with item customization, I've found. However the price of their fajitas went up considerably from what I was used to paying before the pandemic, and I had to stop getting it. And I just don't like their ground beef based items as much. The actual interior of the restaurant is about what you'd expect from a dine-in mexican restaurant, with vaquero posters and a constant playlist of norteno music haha. All very pleasant to be honest! I love their interior. I just wish I could afford their fajitas more often. I will say this though. When I want fajitas, I do not go to the other mexican restaurant (which also offers fajitas...) I go straight to Las Palmas. Because that in my opinion is where Las Palmas truly excels beyond any other restaurant. Sooo, I'll knock it back up a another star. Almost perfect guys! Visiting the area to do tourist stuff.. Had fantastic service when we were there on a Saturday afternoon. We even had some tasty margaritas. The food was delicious and filling. The cheese dip was ok. I was glad it came with a side of jalapenos.. Our server even helped out with some Spanish speaking and was such a great person. Thank you kind sir for being awesome! Was charged different amount than what was on the menu. When questioned was initially told guacamole was more at dinner than what was in the menu but on the receipt it was the same. There were two added charges without a description and the meal was more than the menu said as well. Also added something I didn't order. They refunded to get to the correct charge. My boyfriend and I have recently made it a tradition to try a new Mexican restaurant every Sunday in search of our favorites since there are so many options, and Las Palmas has been one of our favorites so far! First of all, the interior is so cute and really gets you in the mood to enjoy some delicious Mexican food. They give everyone their own dish of salsa and you can pick mild or spicy - I love mild and my boyfriend loves spicy so this is prefect for us, and both were great. We also had a large queso and it was huge! We would probably get a smaller size for just the two of us next time. Classic white queso and it was delicious. We both got a steak chimichanga, it was crispy (a must for a good chimichanga but hard to find!) although a little thick. Delicious flavor and the rice and beans were excellent too. My experience is based off takeout but during lunch, it was organized busy. We ordered fajitas and everything was packaged well and included all of the fixings you would need. If you're in the mood for fajitas and located near, around the square, las palmas would be a great alternative to the similar choices you will find in the heart of the Bentonville square. Food is good, not great but good. Service inside the restaurant is usually good and fast. It's loud inside, but most restaurants are . They offer phone orders but they usually don't answer the phone. If they do answer, they will lay the phone down until you time out. Only one register and you pay your bill there so there is a line checking out. Guess what ? The person behind the register is the one who does or doesn't answer the phone. Get a second check out station or let the wait staff check out customers. read more

Margaritas was huge but very mediocre. Taco Bell would have been a huge upgrade for the food. The food was extremely overpriced. Our hostess was very very unfriendly. So we dropped in because we were craving some chips and margaritas! My husband has a enchilada and taco combo he thought was great. The fajitas surprised me. I have never received fajitas on a plate. They always come in a skillet. And I think they were out of tomatoes and peppers because I got beef and onions. The server never refilled our drinks or chips. Must have been having a rough night. Let's start with the positive. The drinks were cheap. That's about all I've got. Our group of 5 arrived at around 4:30 and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. We ordered drinks that were just ok. But again, cheap. Service was slow, even with very few customers. Every time we needed anything...more drinks, chips, salsa, etc., we had to hail down the server. And sometimes things arrived. Sometimes they did not. I never got a refill on salsa. As for the food, it was average at best. I ordered a grande chicken fajita burrito and it had far too many refried beans. No sour cream or guacamole. Only rice as a side. Nobody else from my group commented about their food orders...which speaks for itself. Finding the server to ask for our check took forever. Getting our check took forever. Not at all impressed! There is a reason the outdoor sign says "open". You wouldn't know by looking at it. Hostess acted annoyed to have customers and never even acknowledged your arrival. Very lovely lunch experience. Arrived a little after 11:30 on a cold day and was seated almost immediately. The temperature of the restaurant was comfortable without being too warm. Chips and salsa were delivered quickly then after a few minutes the server came to take our drink order. We had enough time prior to this to decide what we wanted so had to stop the server from leaving so we could place our order. Chips and salsa were good but the hot salsa was not all that spicy. This may vary daily. I ordered the #9 lunch special. Can't remember the exact name but it was a burrito covered in cheese sauce. Very tasty! We'll be back for lunch! Not impressed....I've been to this place probably 10 times (close to my house) and each time I ask why I continue to come back. The staff are not friendly at all, borderline rude at times. Not uncommon for the order to be wrong, the food is below average and way over priced. I wish this was a place worth patronizing...but it is not. I'm a huge fan of Mexican food. I am from Southern California and have been lucky enough to have grown up with awesome Mexican good most of my life. It has been a hard adjusted living in NWA when it comes to good Mexican food. We came here for dinner this past Saturday evening. We arrived around 6/615pm. We luckily did not have to wait and were seated right away. The restaurant was about half or so full. As the night went on it filled up some more. When we walked in there was live music playing, which was a nice addition to dinner. Customer service was friendly and fast. The food was between just fine and good. The chips and salsa were ok. I ordered the Acapulco - two cheese enchiladas and 1 tostada. The tostada was not that good to me, just alright. The enchiladas were pretty good, but I'm not the biggest fan of the meat sauce that was put on top. The rice and beans on the side were just like most rice and beans at most Mexican restaurants. Overall, I would go back, but I would try another entree and probably skip the chips. read more

Just walked out of Las Palmas. Service was rediculously bad. Ordered guacamole and cheese dip. Drinks were empty, chips empty, cheese dip got cold and could not get anyone to come to the table. Never even got to order our meals. I started paying attention to the servers to ask for chips and drink refills and noticed they were rude to their tables and didn't appear to want to be there. Bad atmosphere!! Paid the tab and walked out. We have tried this restaurant several times because it's close to our house but every experience has been bad. The waitress was amazing!. When we walked in we were not greater nor sat. A waitress came about 5 minutes after we arrived, greater and sat us. She then took our drink order and offered water for our alcoholic beverages. Then we had a gentleman bring chips and salsa. We ordered our meals, and that's about all I can say that was good. Unfortunately the salsa tastes like tomato sauce (no real flavor to it), my meal (seven seas) came out looking amazing, but looks are better than taste. It was quite fishy smelling, and no real flavor other than the dirty fishy taste. The shrimp and crab was good... but everything else was way over cooked and literally decintegrated as you went to pick it up. The oysters and want to be octopus was so chewy I spit it out. And when the menu stated 2 types of crab, that's what I expected... which was not what I got (only one type of crab) which you have to break open without cracking utensils... also the crab cluster was not cleaned so guts were still attached... also, even though the shrimp was good, the veins were not cleaned from them, which added an even fisher taste to the soup.. our beverage was too frozen and you could barely drink it... which was disappointing since they are $10 each....it is very hit and miss, and poorly made...I recommend the fajitas because those are on point, but everything else was not.. not even the rice.
