Got takeout. Food was good, but I was charged more than the prices online, and parking downtown in general is a nightmare. Let's start with the negative. On the online menu, the chimichanga is $14, the quesabirrias are $15, and the churros are $7. However, I was charged $17, $18, and $8 respectively, so that's an extra $7 that I paid for no reason. The only accurate thing was the $3 drink. Congratulations, guys. Second, and this isn't necessarily the restaurant's fault, but trying to find a single parking spot downtown is an atrocious fate that I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy. It took me 15 minutes. Now onto the food. The quesabirrias were way better than the chimichanga; honestly it's comical that they're on the same menu. The chimichanga was just some meat, wrapped up, plus some cheese sauce, and that's it. I mean, it tasted fine, but there wasn't much to it. On the other hand, I got five quesabirrias for basically the same price, and the shells were nice and fried, the sauce was great, and you get some onions/lime to dose out to your liking. Churros were awesome. Can't really go wrong there. But with the aforementioned negatives, I have to bring it down to 3 stars. (Edit: I decided to call them, and the dude was nice. Since Yeyo's was temporarily closed, the fellas and I were on the hunt for some good Mexican food in Bentonville. After doing some research, we came across this spot, and let me start by saying--it did not disappoint. They led us upstairs, where we were served water immediately (always points for me) as well as chips and salsa. The salsa wasn't your traditional kind; for one, it had a deep brown color, and instead of a tomato-forward taste, it had a bold, smoky flavor that seemed to come from roasted peppers. It was different, but absolutely delicious. We also ordered queso, and honestly, it was one of the best I've ever had--extremely creamy, incredibly rich, and just overall excellent. Now, for the main course. I wish I had turned the tray around to show the little bowl of onions, cilantro, and consomé that came with it. Had a quick lunch here today. The 5 mini fish tacos were cute and filling. I could have used about double the amount of the chipotle sauce, it was definitely not too overpowering. They were accommodating of my cilantro allergy. The location was great - right off the downtown square (adorable in itself!). We were some of the only patrons on a weekday for Sunday lunch. However, we heard some life stories from employees instead from them talking in the kitchen. Loved the interior decor, but found it so strange how difficult it is to just get into the table. We chose to get take out on Valentine's night. Our order was accurate and very well presented for take out. The flautas are so full of incredible shredded chicken. Our birria burrito was filled with lean flavorful meat, avocado, beans and rice. We got all of the sauces on the side and all the food held up very well on the drive home. The quality of food is outstanding and portions are large. There was a small house salad in our bag. Other than that there are no sides so if you need them be sure to order them on as extra items. Watch your ticket very carefully! First off, we had a table of 5 (but only ordered 4 entrees), not an overwhelming group. First entree came out fine. Two entrees came next and were completely wrong and had to be remade. Last entree came late but before the other two were back from the kitchen. The food was good but we really didn't get to eat together because food was coming out at such random times. So that was disappointing. When the ticket came, we didn't look closely enough and next day noticed they had charged us for the entree that was completely wrong IN ADDITION to the correct entree. So with tax and tip, and a random surcharge fee, which they added in twice, we were overcharged by $33.18! When we noticed the error we called and had to leave a message and haven't heard back. We ate here for lunch today. The restaurant looked cool and we saw the positive reviews, so we decided to eat here. I got a burrito which for some reason came with a salad (with minimal dressing) and my wife got 5 miniature fish tacos. Unlike most Mexican restaurants, we never got any chips. We got our food soon after ordering and it tasted good. My burrito was cut in half and had cheese poured all over it; it was quite tasty. But I wasn't happy when I got the bill. The menu says mine was $14 for lunch and $17 for dinner. Despite this, I was charged $17 even though it was clearly for lunch because it happened to be on a Sunday. The same happened for my wife's food. When I paid with my card, they tacked on an extra $1 plus change; I guess they don't like cards. So I paid $7 more than I should have because they like to play silly games. This includes the most expensive burrito I've ever had. The food was good but these games they play were a big turnoff. I'd try a different Mexican restaurant before trying this one again. read more
