Look over to the right corner of the bar and you'll spot what looks like a vintage cash register straight out of the 1800s. There's a pool table, plenty of seating for such an intimate spot, and yes, a restroom inside (always appreciated in Old San Juan!). The have an attendant directing you but it was very difficult. Next this is a waterfront restaurant but at nigh not much to see. Getting up to the restaurant is by a set of steep steps. No elevator, and Mrs. E had knee replacement surgery a few months ago so getting up these steps was a nightmare. So atmosphere, pretty dark but extremely noisy. Conversations were a real challenge. Food-I had Lobster Risotto. Good but not memorable. Mrs. Had "Skirt Steak ". Not that good. Our new friends shared a T bone steak which they loved. Side note, beef does not come from the US mainland. Most comes from South America. Just leave it at that. Their young son was there too and he had sliders. Our waiter was very good and fluent in English which was a good thing. Plenty of high end restaurants in Dorado. Next time we're there we'll try one of them.
