Decor was basic and service was ok. I've never had Camarones al tocino a la crema before this place. I had them a month ago & were absolutely fantastic! So good I had to come back for more. This time the bacon shrimp were fried to a crisp, so burnt I couldn't chew it enough to swallow. Told them & came back with a second plate of burnt food. So switched to enchiladas and they were undercooked & doughy. I gave up and was still charged for everything. Different cook apparently. Won't be back. read more

I've been craving mole for years and this chicken mole did NOT disappoint! It was rich, creamy and everything I wanted it to be. You can barely taste the chocolate but the color is a deep dark brown and that's what you should expect in a great mole. The chicken fell off the bone in the sauce. This mole sauce makes you want to lick your fingers clean. The beans and rice were also very fantastic. Definitely the best beans and rice that I've had in a while. I could make a meal with just those 2 sides. Can't forget the homemade corn tortillas. I received 5! They were piping hot with my to-go Mole. So hot I couldn't eat them right away! My husband thoroughly enjoyed his burrito. The toppings were piled high with the beef, rice and beans. And it wasn't a small burrito, it filled up my big man. He didn't even save room for his fries. There must be years of cooking experience in that little restaurant. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. Great amount of food for $30! Fantastic food and refreshing aguas frescas. I've been hard pressed to find good Mexican food in western Washington so I was looking forward to eating some during our Yakima visit. Couldn't be more impressed with this restaurant! The tortillas are some of the best I've ever had, the tacos were packed full of flavor, the mole de pollo rich and tasty, and the bistec a la mexicana completely "wow"-ed my fiancé. This place is a gem. We decided to stop here on our way back from the Gorge Amphitheater and I'm so glad we did! The prices are low and the portions are high! Not to mention, the food is delicious. They give you handmade tortillas with every meal and between me and my partner, there was 12 tortillas!! Absolutely insane! I was truly shocked with how much food you get for such a low price. every time I come here I love it. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. Their chile rellenos are delicious. i come here once or twice a year when I'm in the area. I always get the chile rellenos with salsa con crema. The chile is perfectly cooked and stuff in the batter is fresh. I love the authentic atmosphere, and the outdoor private garden is fantastic for dining or parties. Today I came through at 8:30 and they were open for breakfast. They were, the best, I've had, maybe in my life, ever, carnitas tacos. It's the meat. Oh that amazing pork, it was glorious. The tortilla, the salsa, everything else was great too, but let me tell you, it was the meat that made those tacos amazing. Whatever they do, I would LOVE the recipe. We've been here two times. The first time we all enjoyed our food (husband had the Mexican enchiladas and I had the bacon wrapped shrimp). So, despite the fact that I had some major errr...stomach issues immediately following, we decided to give it another try. Well, guess what. Same problem but I was worse off this second time. I ordered something different (Pollo a la crema). I thought it was tasty and liked it, until my stomach started rumbling on the drive home. Hubby, who has an iron stomach, also complained of some abdominal discomfort (he had the chile relleno). This was delicious Mexican food. We stopped at about 11:30 for lunch. I ordered the 3 tacos (chicken) w rice/beans and my husband had the mole chicken. We saw customers eating large bowls of soup that looked amazing. Staff was friendly and we got our food quickly. It was cool to see the women cooking at the big stove. The place is very comfortable and clean, the staff is quite friendly and welcoming. The Chips and Salsa are superb. Had a Agua de Horchata, pretty good! The food was pretty damn good, reminds me of my childhood in Mexico! Overall, the whole thing was pretty good. Very quick service and although the quantity was not as much as other places I am used to the quality was superb. I had the Barbacoa or slow cooked beef in herbs and spices and it was excellent. I have eaten here several times over the last few years and always received very good food. Normally the service is okay. But tonight we arrived as they were locking the door. The young lady opened the door and welcomed us in She and the other workers were very pleasant. The lady who dealt with us the most was nice and had a great smile.
