They kept me up to date on the status of my material (post Covid scarcity) and when they will be out for installation. Kurth's son came out to do the initial walk through and was extremely polite and helpful, they even responded to questions I had as late as 9pm. They worked around other trades to prep irrigation and electrical sleeves so services can get routed under pavers and turf after completion to avoid demo after the fact. Their performance was great, install of materials and management of subcontractors was next level. We hired them to do lighting, irrigation, pavers, drainage, and a few other details. I hired One Call Landscape after one meeting with Kurth and Scott. The crew of men they use are all very experienced and have an eye for detail unlike any subcontractors I've ever worked with. I had a pool put in my yard a 12 months before calling One Call and my pool guy told me he couldn't believe how clean the pool stayed during the landscape process. Constant contact with Kurth and Scott made this easy. I was never was left in the dark regarding what the next steps were and they truly wanted my input from design, to material selection. They never once tried to convert me to a lesser product or "their way" of doing something. They listened more than advised! There was a slight mistake while pouring my concrete countertop around my BBQ. But One Call ate the cost of that mistake and made it right. The initial bid had some items that were high, and when materials were used, they lowered my bid midway through the job because they over estimated. They didn't nickel and dime me throughout the entire process. I probably ended up getting a handful of bushes for free! We replaced some bushes and a tree in the front yard because they make the process so easy. We went to the nursery with Scott to pick out everything. Kurt took me to the actual grower just to help chose the plants I wanted. While this was great for me, I'd also say it's not necessary! I didn't feel the need to have One Call design the entire backyard although that was a service they'd offer. I was so comfortable that they would do what I wanted that I didn't need to see an artists rendition of what we discussed. When all the plants/trees/vines were delivered, Kurth placed them in the best location for sun/shade and artistic design and then gave my wife and I the chance to re-locate (verbally, they did the lifting). We moved a couple things but Kurth nailed our vision. Not being from AZ I had no idea what would flourish and what would dry out and die. We had a decent rendering from the pool builder who was also a very attentive listener so everyone was on the same page. The build process was clean, efficient and flexible as we made some changes along the way. Decided last minute to break off the front which they completed quickly and on budget. Wow I wonder if these 5 star reviews are people they know ! I don't even know where to begin ! The service is quite possibly the worst I've ever experienced ! We had a pool put it and this is the company they used for landscaping ! Scott is the owner and his wife Krista works for him and she will constantly make excuses and the work will not get done in a timely manner , one of her guys flooded my back yard which once again delayed the laying of the turf , when she came out to look she promised it would get done even if they had to dig out the mud and replace with fresh dirt but once she left my presence that was a different story she had her guy tell me they couldn't do anything there was too much mud and I had to wait 72hrs to dry out then of course there was a holiday in there , my sons birthday was quickly approaching and she promised it would be done on Tuesday after labor day , then we get a text msg stating they couldn't come back till Thursday two days before the party, said they have other jobs even though it's their fault my yard is flooded ! We then get a text from her husband that said we will deal with him now because I'm too aggressive and that there is nothing that could be done until Thursday ! It wasn't until I called the pool company and complained that we got another text that said they can come a day sooner ! So job is finally done and it's been a few months and I'm out in the back and realized that part of my artificial turf is sinking , they say it's under warranty ! My husband contacted Krista and she said she will get her guys out, we set up a time because we must keep the dogs in the house or her guys won't go back there and they are a no show she has scheduled two more times and again a no show ! So yesterday I sent her a text and her response is she doesn't know what to say she schedules them and they don't show ! I'd say you fire them and hire someone else to make this right ! We recently built a new house in Chandler. We wanted to put in a pool and have the yard landscaped as soon as possible after we moved in. One Call was recommended by the pool builder so we met with Scott in conjunction with the pool design. He was very professional and helpful. He walked us through the entire design, allowed us to make changes and made recommendations that made sense. We had a barbecue structure built with a pergola. The work was meticulous, some of the best I have ever seen. He worked with us when we needed to make a change and always had positive suggestions for alternatives. From my very first interaction with Scott and Kurth, I could tell this was going to be a positive experience. Scott was extremely professional and timely in returning my call and text, which was a great sign to start. We have a light colored travertine and they went so far as to put duct tape on the tires of the wheel barrows to avoid any dark marks and additional cleaning. Having just moved here from New York, my wife and I wanted to totally transform the look and feel of our new home so that it truly felt like we were out of the city and in the desert. About 9 months ago we purchased a new family home. The yard (front and back) was neglected for about 25 years. We knew we wanted a pool and new landscaping so we started asking around and we were pointed, by multiple unrelated people, towards Presidential Pools and One Call Landscape and Design. It was a total coincidence that these two companies happen to have a relationship and work many projects together for a complete yard transformation. As with any large scale project, we encountered a few hiccups along the way but nothing that couldn't be resolved. One Call did pretty much all of the aesthetics of our pool, backyard and front yard. Presidential Pools pretty much dug the hole and did all it of the "mechanical/plumbing" part of the project. I was very disappointed in my interactions with this company. I called to get an estimate on a remodel of my backyard. Several days later, I received a call back but I missed the call so she left a message. I called back and had to leave another message. After over a week, I received a text stating that she was out of town and asked if she could come by on Wednesday (two days later). I said that would work.
