We stopped here after a long road trip. We enjoyed this place once before as newlyweds and now, 17…read moreyears later we got to enjoy it with our teen. It is located on Main Street and there were lots of cars. Generally that's a good sign. We walked in and were seated right away and offered a booth or table. I loved that. We like the booths and so often have to ask for them in places. The place is a very nice design. It's almost as though most of the tables have an intimate setting. Our server was pleasant and kind. We enjoyed her as she was very attentive as well. I read complaints on the salsa and while I can be a bit picky myself, this was okay. I'm originally from Texas and I know we are kind of salsa snobs. I mean....I was making my own salsa in my molcajete as a young teen. I got a small bowl of lemons for my water and dressed up our chips with lemon and salt. The chips were delicious and you can tell homemade. Our server never used empty with chips, salsa, or water. We were recommended to get the carne asada plate, southwest combo, and the chili rellenos.we had the rellenos on the buffet years ago. It was all still so good. The carne asada was amazing and moist. The flavor was amazing. My son got it cooked well done and it was still delicious. Highly recommend! The southwest combo was perfect for someone who wants a bit of everything. I got it with green and red sauce because I couldn't decide that either. The whole plate was great. The cheese chili rellenos with cheese sauce was epic. I mean it's like a spicy hotdog had a baby with a funnel cake. Yum!!!! We wanted to stick around and come back another day but we were on a tight schedule. Until next time. I don't understand why some of the reviews were so harsh. I mean there are all different types of Mexican food. I enjoy that New Mexico puts a bit of their own spin on it.

If anyone planning to go check the prices first. I wish I could give better. But no sadly no. We…read morecame here my husband, sons and me. It was in Jan. We wanted to eat good Mexican food, sadly we didn't like it and left with not a good taste, specially when we got back home from our trip I looked at my receipt and compared the prices and all were off. And servers need to speak English, and stop speaking Spanish when no one of my family speaks Spanish. We order a molcajete they forgot the chorizo , we asked for it and we regretted to ask for it. That was not a good chorizo didn't even look like chorizo. Looked and tasted like can pet food. One of my sons order a Carne à la Tampiquena what a bad choose. The meat was hard and usually a tampiquena has grill onions , grilled poblano or bell peppers did not have any. I asked the server said doesn't come with it. What? .... The other two kids order combos and rice was not good. So going back to the price. The peces on the table menu, online menu and our printed receipt are way off. I have pictures I compare apples to apples only with our dishes we paid for and we got over charged about $7.00 not a lot but is quite extra. What made me check the prices? When we asked for our check the server came and said is this much holding the credit card machine. I said can I see the bill? She rolled her eyes printed the bill and give it to us and walked away. I looked and just wanted to make sure we have the correct items we order. She came back we paid even give her tip after all. Then we got back to our hotel to finish our trip..... Back home I did check each and I was very unhappy with this place. Never again. OWNER of this place needs to Review all prices from each menu platform. We didn't have beers, makes me think this place is over charging anyone consuming alcoholic drinks.

The restaurant was pretty empty so we had EXCEPTIONAL service and the food was EPICALLY DELICIOUS. I had the fajitas and there was so much food that we wished we could've taken it home but due to the limited amount of time we couldn't. It was so tasty, fresh, and authentic. My son had a combination plate and loved it as well. We both had Horchata's that we loved as well.we highly recommend this restaurant!

This experience was honestly ridiculous. I ordered a lemonade that was extremely sour and just…read moredidn't taste good to me or my partner. We asked the waitress if it could be swapped for a different drink, and she brought out another drink without any issue. When we got the check, however, I noticed we were still charged for the original lemonade. The owner picked up the check, and I explained that I was still being charged for the drink that I had already asked to be replaced. He told me, "Oh well, you should have told the waitress." I told him that I did, and he responded that there was nothing wrong with the lemonade, so he still had to charge me for it. So I was like whatever and let the $3.50 go, but what happened next was unbelievable. He came back with a glass of lemonade in his hand and said, "Look at me take a drink. See? There's nothing wrong with it." That was incredibly unprofessional and condescending. Whether he personally thought there was something wrong with the lemonade completely misses the point. Taste is subjective. I didn't like it, told the waitress, and it was replaced. A good business owner would have simply removed or comped the $3.50 drink instead of arguing with a customer and trying to prove that their personal taste was wrong. It's not about the $3.50--it was about the way the situation was handled. For such a small issue, the owner turned it into an uncomfortable and ridiculous experience. But hey, keep the $3.50. Judging by the lack of customers, I can see you probably need it more than I do. The way this was handled definitely explains why.
