Absolutely loved Vegas Superkarts at Speed Vegas! Such a great experience! A few friends and I came here on a Sunday morning, we were able to walk right in and sign up to race! Upon arrival, we did a quick check in and short safety debriefing. The staff here helped get us the helmets, and a locker for our things! Such nice people that work here, so happy to help with any questions, and seemed happy to be working there! The Go Karts themselves are gas powered, so they feel extra fast! 9/10 laps per race depending on your pace, and the laps are done by time trial! So cool and so fun. They also have a really cool viewing deck if you want to watch the exotic cars on the track at Speed Vegas! Such a cool place and very unique! read more

Discovered this place after K1 kept quoting us a 2 hour wait time and we are very happy with our experience at Vegas SuperKarts! I very much enjoy that you can reserve a time! Now, I know that the time you book won't be the exact start time, but I appreciate that they try to limit how many people can join a time slot. We waited maybe 15 minutes in line to check-in, then had our briefing. Staff was knowledgeable and very friendly. I will say, the karts don't have a reverse button, not that I could see. So when someone crashed into a barrier, they were stuck waiting for an employee to get them back on the track. I did like the screen display with my name and placement on the kart. Placement is based on best lap time. You can purchase your POV video for $10/race and it will be emailed to you. Overall, we had so much fun! I would recommend and we will be back. It's a convenient location for us too! The only reason I gave this place 4 & not 5 stars is because it is pricier. It was about $20-$35 more than racing with K1 (using a 2 race, 2 person experience as reference). We paid $143 for 2 races, 2 people. It was $65/person + $13 in taxes and fees. In comparison, K1 is $54/person + $7/person (annual "license") + $0 in taxes and fees. It would be $108 without the license, and $122 with the license. My boyfriend and I bought a Groupon to try out some go karts. This is a great date day activity to do! I think we were in and out in less than an hour, but we only bought 1 race. When walking in, you have to make an account; they end up emailing you your stats compared to the other racers on the track with you. Then you line up to register. The Groupon is for a walk in basis so you get put into whatever group is going to go on the track next, there's no appointments for the Groupon. You watch a quick safety briefing, walk down to the track to get a helmet, get assigned a kart, and you're off! Overall, a very cute place. There was a Vegas.com promotion, so our admission for 4 adults was really cheap. It was fun and with the discount, it was totally worth it. There was an off track incident where a spectator required medical assistance. They cleared the track for 1/2 hour but allowed us to restart the race once the person was taken to a hospital. We bought one race and that was plenty. You are on the track with others but you're racing for your own race time. They said it's 8 - 10 laps per race, but I didn't count. There are multiple hairpin turns, so you can drift when taking the corners. Folks can get reckless and cause accidents. I did sustain a back injury due a collision caused by someone else but I think I'll be fine . read more

I'm a local (Henderson) who decided to buy Groupons for my fiance's birthday This is going to be a long review but here is the gist of it in one sentence... IF YOU PURCHASED A GROUPON, IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU CALL THE DAY OF YOUR VISIT TO AVOID BEING TURNED AWAY. I purchased the groupon and called to get information because I know from experience that certain conditions may apply for groupon customers. I was told that groupon customers cannot make an appointment. Basically you have to walk in and that it's first come, first serve. Okay, that's understandable. I went on to ask if Mondays or Tuesdays would be a good day and was told that they aren't busy those days. My fiance and his buddies took the day off work to celebrate and were super excited to race. Unfortunately, they were TURNED AWAY because they had too many customers and didn't have any more room. (It was approx 1pm) What a HUGE bummer. I called the manager and she said there wasn't anything she could do to get them in that day but the next day she could get them in and offered to throw in a Drifter Ride. It was a nice touch of course, but in actuality we ended up spending 10 times as much as we saved on the groupon!! (Work, gas, double tríp, etc.) In all fairness, the staff is great, the rides were a blast and we will definitely go again BUT NOT ON GROUPON. read more

The course layout has great turns and the karts are powerful enough to spin-out if you are not careful. The go-karting staff was working very hard having to deal with a lot of unruly guests. If your feel'n the need for speed, well this is the spot! Showed up 15 minutes before our reservations. It was about a 15-20 minute drive from the down town strip. When you walk in you check in at the ipads and each person driving needs to sign waivers. After that you proceed to a cashier who verifies everything and points you to a waiting area where they show you a quick safety video and instructions. I recommend enjoying the AC while you can, cause once I stepped out side it was burn'n hot. We got fitted with helmets and locked up any belongings in a locker. I don't recommend bringing large bags only what's necessary the lockers are not big. You need to take off any hat and jewelry that might get in the way or get caught. We got in our karts and the instructors give you a brief, but confusing instructions. For someone who's never done it and likes to follow the rules and etiquettes I had a hard time. Inside lane out side lane bluh bluh bluh. I drove very slow trying to remember the instructions and feet coordination. Everyone was having a blast flying past me LOL. It was pretty hot so our short time felt longer, but it was a nice experience. There's lots to look at in the waiting area, and you can upgrade to a race car if you want. Customer service was nice, prices where reasonable. Can't complain about anything but the heat, but that's Las Vegas. read more

What an awesome experience. I took my sons 18 and 22 we only did one race but it was so much fun. The excitement of racing each other and trying to beat the track record is so exhilarating. We like to throw some gambling action in the mix because in our family it's all about bragging rights. I highly recommend getting a group of friends and seeing who really is the original speed racer in the family. Damm ,I'm excited just describing it, I can't wait to go back . The staff is amazing, Niko and Courtland are best . They made our experience the best ever answering my son's questions like " What do I do if I crash and start running down the track on fire . Brought my cousin here who was visiting, while on an exchange program in Toronto, as one of the "Vegas experiences". I had purchased 2 vouchers on LivingSocial for $43 each that included 2 races for 1 driver. Called a few days in advance to make an "appointment/reservation". They ask for your voucher number so be ready to give that as well. Just off the 15 towards the Las Vegas Speedway, its one of the first things you see along with the huge signs/banners covered with pictures of supercars. Vegas Superkarts occupies a small space to the left while Exotics Racing occupies majority of the area to the right and behind. Upon arrival, they ask you to hop on the laptops on the side to register your info (name, racer name, contact info, email, etc). After that, they put a band labeled "Exotics Racing" on you that is difficult to remove besides cutting it off. You watch a brief video on signals and what not before you are fitted with a head "Sock" and helmet. Unfortunately for my "fat" head, which i already had problems finding hats for, even their XXL, i BARELY fit in. I couldn't use my sunglasses (which i later dropped and found). Number of people who are in the race depends on how busy it is and whos there. You average about 10 laps. Some faster people may get 11. Some slower may get 9. Its about 10 minutes give or take per race. Pretty fun. I averaged 43 seconds a lap wheras the top time is at 35 seconds . dot dot dot.... LOL dang it ! Fun times. Decent price for 2 laps on the LivingSocial. Bit of a drive out there but you get to watch exotics run laps around and maybe the occasional Charger burning rubber around the track. read more

Their "secure" lockers are in no way secure. One key opens every single locker. I found this out after myself and three friends had our stuff stolen from the lockers. We were pressured to leave our stuff in the lockers, being told that it wasn't safe to bring our things onto the race track. Looking back, they were probably scamming us. Conveniently there were no cameras pointing at the lockers. After discovering our stuff was gone, the staff offered absolutely no assistance in figuring out what happened. We even talked to HR and after an hour they agreed to give us each one race credit that we could not redeem same day. None of us are from the state, so we could not even use this. This was especially devastating since this was our first activity of the weekend for my bachelor party and wedding. Since my ID and cards were taken, there were no activities I could do in Vegas anymore. I could not even get my marriage license because I had no ID with me. It would have at least been nice to be refunded; but we were essentially told that nothing could be done. It was a nightmare and ruined our weekend. read more

I've never been go-karting before but had so much fun my first time. They were crazy busy on a Sunday, so it was a 40 minute wait for us since we didn't have reservations, and we arrived at a very busy hour. We got the Groupon and they honored it. They close at 6pm and we were one of the last groups to get there, but they stayed later so that the last groups can get a second race in. Everyone was super friendly. Only complaint is that their water bottles were $6. But even the guy ringing me out for it apologized. I get it man, you don't make the rules. Some tips: bring a mask and some disinfectant wipes. They have hand sanitizer and they disinfect the helmets, but they don't disinfect the karts in between races when drivers switch off. read more

Flipping awesome!!! I'm a 50yo but I've raced karts in my younger years and have been hitting the local electric kart locations for 20+ years. I saw the ad for some outdoor gas karts and couldn't pass it up. I have 5 kids who are now between 19 and 26 so I hauled the whole family here for a "school is in session" lesson on kart racing. All my kids have been racing before but it's always fun to smack talk the youngins. What a blast we had!! I did sweep all three sessions and it was really great fun with the family and helping them improve throughout the day. They also have the exotic cars to take out on the course and a concession area for drinks and snacks. It does get hot out here. It they have a large indoor area to relax and cool off between sessions so don't let the heat detract you. I'll be back soon! Enjoy! read more

Went to Vegas SuperKarts to do a fun group activity for a birthday. It was a lot of fun! Staff was informative and the experience itself of driving to karts around the track was exhilarating. We even had an award ceremony at the end for our top 3 racers that came with metals! My group had a great time! Only reason I put 4 was because I was informed that the max amount of people in the track was 14. I had reserved a spot for 14 and during our session 2 additional people were added to our group, which changed the experience a bit. Once we got out on the track we just started going, I thought we were all going to line up at the starting line. Also adding those 2 people to the mix confused our award ceremony presenter because they called out names that weren't a part of our group. Slight hiccup there. Over all still a ton of fun and we will be back! read more

Bought a three race package for my friend and I so we could race the go karts after our super car experience next door at Exotics. (read that review, they are awesome). I found the staff here friendly. They got us situation by signing in on one of the laptops near the front. It's basically a waiver and registration area. You come up with your racer name, then you get checked in. There's a quick briefing video, then you get fitted with your helmet. I raced in the single rider cart, and these things have some decent power. I signed up for a three race package, and each race is about 10-12 minutes. I mentioned that I had done the supercar experience just prior to doing the go karts, and that may have been a mistake. On my first discovery lap, I was behind my buddy, and he spun out on a fairly sharp hairpin turn which is a couple of turns prior to where the finish line is....so I was primarily focused on getting around him, not noticing how sharp the turn really was....so as I got around my friend, I went full throttle as much as I could through the track, since there was no one in front of me...I had completely forgotten about the sharp turn where my buddy had spun out, and came up on it at top speed.....I managed to do a power slide, but my momentum carried me right into the retaining wall sideways, probably at about 30mph. I got the cart airborn, and blew away the tires that were supporting the retaining wall as cushioning. A member of the staff flagged me down and tore me a new one verbally. They wanted to kick me out, and understandably so. I apologized profusely and was allowed to continue. I'm almost 50 years old, I'm not looking to get killed on a go kart track, I just made an error in judgement. Needless to say, I drove a bit more carefully from that moment on. On my subsequent races, I came in second both times. I didn't do all that well on my first race due to my crash and being "pulled over" by the staff. Regardless of that experience, I commend the staff for doing everything necessary to keep things safe as well as fun. The track is awesome and the go karts are fast. Just be careful out there, follow directions, and you'll be fine and have fun like I did. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone. If you're planning on doing the supercar experience, maybe do the go karts first! read more

Went with my kids soccer team while we were in town. The weather was a little spotty with rain showers but the staff did a great job of getting the track dry and keeping us informed of the status. Went with a group of 4 and definitely some of the fastest go karts i have ever done. Had a really good time even tho I lost to my buddies but we got to race with about 5 other people who I did beat. Locals were only 25 bucks per race out the door so great way to have some cheap fun during the day. read more

It's sad that our trip to Las Vegas had to be cancelled because of the Covid 19 pandemic. The company will not refund my group reservation but simply keep my reservations open. Unforeseen circumstances like this, you figure they would be accommodating to a full refund but they are not.
