For instructors training the next generation of commercial drivers and for those who support that mission, time off is essential for avoiding burnout and maintaining high standards of service. 160 Driving Academy has built relationships with major partners like Amazon, Amazon Career Choice, Swift Transportation, and Freeworld--a tech-enabled nonprofit company that aims to end generational poverty and recidivism by accelerating economic mobility for returning citizens, which is good for society as a whole. These partners may rightly begin to ask: Is this an organization that values its people? Is it stable enough to invest in?. Philyica did inform me that they do not train for class B CDL, and they do train for class A. All good information, I will be informing my cousin about this place. Also the MA training by far the most mediocre training you will ever see. Most of what you learn in independent and the instructor never responds when you need help or have question. Basically you're on your own with roughly 20 assignments and discussions. Almost my entire class had so many complaints about the instructor and how she was so mean and for no reason. The instructor puts an extreme amount of homework on the students and then says "no late work is accepted " as if people don't have lives outside of school..They purposely make people have to retake the modules so they can get paid more money. The people in the office especially financial aid rarely answers or returns calls. They take complete control of your financial aid and you won't know how much aid you were approved for and or if there's excess funds and if the max is being requested etc. Then they put so many transactions on a "breakdown" that's supposed to explain what the charges are etc but it's so much b.s on there you won't even understand and it's never clear. Please save yourself from a headache DON'T DO IT!!!

There's always gonna be haters…read moreand the people who do graduate from this school are too busy moving on the the bad ass jobs they just accepted to pause and write the incredible reviews these people deserve. That's why I did it just a couple days BEFORE I graduate lol. My instructors have been Mike in the classroom and T in the trucks. They both treat you with all the respect and patience that you deserve and THEN some. Even if you have no business driving a truck, they'll likely have you feeling up to the task by the time you walk out of the school. They give you enough one on one time to recognize your particular way of learning and are able to explain things in easy to understand step by step instruction. I test in two days and I feel so prepared due to T's instruction, I won't lose a wink of sleep the night before test day! Thanks Mike!
