    Orange juice expired

The ride was good, the guide Charley is very gentle and he does a god job. However, food was bad, they should not offer any food, they don't have any way to serve anything good in the middle of nowhere, where the actual ride is. Don't expect a ranch, with farm and fresh cooking, food in this case just ruin the whole experience (even the orange juice was expired)!

    Their unprofessional Groupon response

This is such an odd thing. I bought a groupon for this company, had a decent experience despite the false advertising, and left an honest review on Groupon. Today the owner or whoever responded saying some bizarre things. I've never called them, spoke to someone,or asked for a refund, and there was only one person on site the day of my ride so I have ZERO clue what this person is talking about. I would refrain from doing business with such an unprofessional company willing to bash their customers. I am guessing they get this complaint a lot about their rides being half the time as advertised for them to be so defensive. Also their response extra doesn't make sense considering the other family was on site and on horses at 4:39, when our tour began at 4. Nice try though :) Take your money elsewhere

*CONSUMER REVIEW FAIRNESS ACT* - Because i got threatened for my very much detailed and honest review before i decided to fix this one. Terrible Customer Service. Complicated Booking Online Service. Terrible Company. If you get a Groupon, DONT. I suggest calling them first to personally help you through it. BUT THEY NEVER ANSWER. When you text them, the person is so unprofessional. At the end of it, you will end up paying $130 for 2 people. SO NO, its NOT a DEAL!!! Their booking service is so inconvenient and confusing. BEWARE on their booking site if you want to make a reservation. Im not the only one here who feels the same way. *RED FLAG when your boyfriend books the reservation, you put your card on file and you later get charged just because of misunderstanding/confusion all because they cant find a better server for making reservations and the first thing they do is tell me im wrong.... My card got overcharged. WHY WOULD I RATE THIS 5 STARS!!!! GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS KEY. Which this company does not have. Ive never been threatened by a company to take legal action just because i rated them a 1 star for my experience/my opinion. For a first experience, I wish it could have stayed amazing. They could be great, if they replaced whoever handles the administrative side and their booking system or put their act together and act like business professionals. Sadly My boyfriend who booked the reservation and myself will never do business with them. Check out COWBOY TRAIL RIDES, they're the same price. THEY OFFER COUPONS. NO HIDDEN FEES. Better booking system, better trail-red rock location, they have a shuttle service, they have a permanent location, & answer phone calls.

Proof of a false location. Buyer beware!!!!

So, my experience with this company is a bit odd. When i was trying to reserve a spot for a nice afternoon with the family, all i was pressured to do was PAY, PAY, PAY. Buyer beware of the pay first issue. Next, no one ever answers the phone. They are happy to text you quickly but will never answer their phone. Next, when a question as to what type of horses they have or availability or their address so we can see the horses and to see if our child would like to go or not, this company will NOT even share this info. That is a huge RED FLAG. I'm sure this company has good deals and is a company. However, in this day and age, the more secretive you are the less we as the public will not respond or be a consumer of yours. Buys beware.

I had the Amazon Locals vouchers and it was an amazing experience. Ayla, our guide was as cool as they come.. very friendly and down to earth. Horses (Hero & Candy) were really nice too. the whole experience was amazing. We were scheduled for an hour and a half but it took an extra 15 minutes since we stopped for pictures. I received an email that requested to confirm appointment. Also instructions when to arrive, where to park, and where to meet the staff. Thumbs up.. I'll definitely will bring more friends to experience this.

It seems this company had some really bad reviews in the past but luckily they seem to have made some improvements since then...So my experience in November 2016 was as follows: Cons: -Extra fees are tagged on for rescheduling, riding on certain days or times i.e. "sunset ride", and various other fees before reaching check out. These were additional fees after already purchasing the Groupon voucher. (There's a mandatory $10/per person tip for the horse handler which isn't really a big deal, but just be prepared to bring cash to the ride) -They only answer via TEXT, no phone calls will be answered which can sometimes be inconvenient. -They are definitely more laid back and casual as a small, family owned business, as opposed to sharp or detail oriented company. Example: Their website is of lower quality, they only respond through text, changed location of our ride the day of, etc. Pros: - Our horse handler/guide, Charlie was kind and knowledgable. - The horses were beautiful, gentle and well trained. -The trail ride was beautiful! - Replies to texts somewhat efficiently -Location of the ride was fairly easy to find (just a horse trailer parked out near sunrise mtn. I think they transport the horses out from their private residence in boulder city) **Bottom line: I would recommend this ride to anyone who is up for a fun, relaxing adventure at a fair price! We definitely enjoyed it :)

Our wonderful guide... And my horse Candy going sideways LOL

We had an amazing ride! The staff was super friendly and ALL the animals were great!! We got our deal off LivingSocial and it went off without a hitch! Purchased online, followed the easy instructions, and got a confirmation email quickly. I decided to change my time, and they accommodated us without any problems. The horses were fantastic and so gentle! We had a mini scare with my horse taking me off the path and straight down the hill!! It was scary but she had great balance and I survived. LOL We definitely want to return again!!

Correspondence with the google voice number.

Address used is a shell gas station in a sketchy part of town. Walked into the gas station thinking maybe there's a rented office somewhere, the people working there had no idea about this business. The phone number is a google voice number again another red flag. Bought a groupon deal for $35 for a 90 minute ride. Booked the appointment through Groupon as was directed. Day of show up at the gas station (obviously confused, because there's no horses here) so call the number on the website get a google voice message to send a text (what kind of professional business is this??). So send a text asking where they are located because the address provided is a gas station. Get a message back that we'd have to pay an additional $50 to ride that day because they booked a private party and would need an additional guide, how is this my fault when the booking was available on the website? No sure who was replying to the texts because they never introduced themselves at all (again super professional), they proceeded to tell me that I should've read the email, that I never received. The whole thing felt like a scam. The gas station address, google voice phone number and then adding additional fees after the ride was booked... buyer definitely beware!

The horse I rode is named Misty, she was sweet and needed very little instruction from me. She followed the other horses nicely. The trail itself was beautiful and peaceful. We got to see some wildlife, rabbits, ground squirrels and quail. After the ride, Kim and David set up a fire pit in the middle of the horse corral with some chairs. We had s'mores and good conversation while the horses wondered around among us. It was a perfect evening and night and I would definitely do it again.

My 15 year old niece was nervous, but really enjoyed the whole experience! My 8 year old nephew is slightly on the spectrum and gets incredibly nervous around people and animals. He was timid at first, but David and Kim were incredibly patient and have way of speaking to the kids that builds trust. When asked if he would ride the horse at the beginning of the lesson he said "no.". When David told him that's completely ok, he started asking a lot of questions and became increasingly comfortable with David (and Silver) throughout the lesson. It was heartwarming to see his interest grow so much in such a short time. And yes, he ended up riding the horse and loving it! He hasn't stopped talking about the horses and when they visit I won't take them anywhere else. This was such a wonderful experience from start to finish, thank you!!
