Vegas Off Road Tours is awesome! So we just did the run few days ago and what a blast it was. Definitely worth to check out this place if your in Vegas. We rented 2 Polaris RZR for my family. So they picked us up from Bellagio and took us to there location. Once we got there they explained everything to us all the safety rules. They showed everyone how to operate and drive a Polaris if you never have before. Everyone working there is super friendly and nice also helpful. We did the 2 hour run and what a blast it was. U have 2 guides that accompany your group and guide you threw the trails. And you go far out in the Mojave desert incredible views and the drive it self was so much fun. I'll be definitely doing this again soon and again if your in Vegas I would for sure check this place out and go have some fun you will not be disappointed it's a freaking blast. read more

Avoid Vegas Off Road Tours at all costs. We booked months in advanced, put a deposit down, booked a rental car to drive out to Vegas Off Road Tours. We flew out to Las Vegas and 2 days before our booked and confirmed Vegas Off Road Tour, they called to cancel. They offered another time and upgrade, but we already set up our entire trip around the confirmed booking with Vegas Off Road Tours. We did not have the flexibility to adjust our entire vacation for the new proposed time. The weather wasn't inclement. Vegas Off Road Tours alluded that there was a group going with us that cancelled the day/time we were booked. But did not confirm exactly why they were adamant on cancelling our tour. They sent a follow up text apologizing for the cancellation and offered a free t-shirt and discount for a future booking, but did not give any information on how to redeem that. I am certain the review response will be filled platitudes and another apology. Cancelling a confirmed booking with a deposit is completely unacceptable. Avoid Vegas Off Road Tours if you are looking for an outdoor adventure in the Las Vegas area. read more

I am beyond happy that I did my research and found this company. Their website is consistently up to date and has accurate information, the staff members are friendly and very willing to help! They have shuttle pickup from certain hotels on the strip which is super convenient. They give you a safety briefing and a run down of what's to expect on your tour! They also have radios so you can keep in contact with the staff members, there are breaks in between and they provide little snacks and waters! I recently wrapped up a Vegas trip and we chose this company for our final event and it was a blast! Every single staff member is so incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, you can tell they all love what they do. There are multiple on-site restrooms that are clean and well-managed and there are plenty of mess-sinks to wash off any of your personal equipment and air hoses to blow off dust after your trip. We chose a self-guided tour but they still provided safety gear and even went over possible wildlife we might see which helped psych-up even the most nervous of our group. I'm personally impressed with their emphasis on safety: each ATV has a gps and they show you exactly how to use it and provide extra safety equipment should anything happen. Our ATV experienced some technical issues about halfway through our time and they stayed in contact with us via text and calls, letting us know what steps they were taking, offering to bring us water, and got to us quickly with a new ATV and gave us extra hours to make up for our lost time (we only waited about 30mins max but we definitely appreciated it!) At the end of the day we were greeted by the owner who was so sweet and excited for us even before realizing we were the group who needed help earlier. What a great group of people and I'm definitely recommending them to anyone who goes to Vegas! read more

Our guide was a Mojave desert trial badass. Friendly people, amazing sights, incredible fun, and tons of freedom on the self-guided tours. This was my favorite experience after a short stay in Vegas. The staff at Vegas Off Road Tours are extremely personable and go to every length to ensure your tour is the best it can be. We did a self-guided tour and spent hours whirling through dry lake beds and rocky terrains before we stopped in scenic Goodsprings for lunch at the Pioneer Saloon (Fallout: New Vegas fans, where you at?). We may have inadvertently drove through a patch of litter which caused a flat tire, but the owner himself drove out to us and changed it out. CHOOSE THIS COMPANY! We had an AMAZING tour with Mel and Craig! I booked it the day before and they were super accommodating, Mel arrived at our hotel promptly with a smile. The ride to the ranch is short, about 20 mins and it was quick to get us moving. The wheels they gave us were BRAND NEW, beautiful, fast and comfortable! They took us out on a long ride in the mountains and we saw wild horses, Craig showed us the California border and an abandoned gold mine. Absolutely amazing! PS: I had done a ride with another company a few years back that had old, small and uncomfortable dune buggies, you could feel the ground and every bump. It also took hours to get situated and ready, a quick ride and waiting for a bus to return us to the strip. I will never make that same mistake again! Call Mel! read more

Started our tour off by being picked up at our hotel by Mel (owner although he insist his wife owns it and he's just the driver) lol the hospitality, and friendly vibes makes you feel not like a customer but more like a long time friend, upon arriving at the destination we were given jackets gloves and goggles for the ride which helped a lot being that it was snowing the day before. The tour guides Craig and Neil? (Guy with red beard) were nothing short of amazing they straight up asked us how we wanted to do our tour and we opted to do more riding and less talking and boy did we do some riding! This tour offers something for everyone's likening, you pretty much set the pace at what you want to go at! Just follow the rules and have fun pretty simple. Along the way we stopped at a bar in the middle of no where which was awesome everyone so welcoming and fun. We come to Vegas frequently and it's safe to say this isn't going to be our last time doing this. Cheers! Also if you ride quads or dirt bikes and are not sure if it will be fast enough or have enough action don't worry these guys will take care of ya just let em know what kind of riding you want to do! I have a rzr xp1000 trails and rocks at home and I was in town for a load (I'm a trucker) and these people were so nice and picked me up from a hotel (I used uber to get their from truck stop) and were friendly the entire time, realy nice equipment and very knowledgeable staff, they took me to some sand dunes cause I told them I missed glamis and such and they took me to some nice ones that I had a blast on! Great experience! We have done a lot of this kind of things and I can tell you they kept us under the best service. Eventhough they picked us a minutes later, the whole experience worth it. We took buggies through the desert and drove prwtty fast all the way. Just be sure to let them know you you like or not speed so they can place you in the right spot. If not, you may risk the fun for everyone... You get to have 3 guides that know really well every square of the dessert and keep you safe. It's something different to do in Vegas. We also saw some wild horses and you can see other animals. Just be sure NOT to harm them becausr they could disappear from Earth forever! There are so few and we got to see them!! We had a great tour with Mel and Debbie last time we were in Vegas. It was just us and another couple on the tour each in our own Polaris Rzr's. With Mel in the lead we took off from the Pioneer Saloon out into the desert. We had a great trail ride, we got to see some wild horses, beautiful scenery, and even made it up to the top of a cliff overlooking the city. Do not miss this. An experience we will always treasure. So, we were in town for the annual SEMA automotive event. We were going to be in town for quite a few days, so really wanted to spend some time off-strip, just to remember what the "regular" world was like. I started reading reviews on the various activities, but kept coming back to this one. Well, everybody seems to agree, this is a fantastic organization. Wonderful people to deal with. Their van was very prompt to pick us up right at our hotel. When we got there, we then met Mel and Debbie, both fantastic people who immediately treat you like family. Our other guide was Gordie. I want to hang out with Gordie more often. He's kind of like the old coot goldminer in Blazing Saddles, but younger, and more articulate. I've been on other tours of various sorts, and you're often made to feel like cattle. Not here. They will spend as much time with each person as they need to familiarize themselves with the machines and gear. From there, saddled up, and headed out. Some narrow rough terrain, some wider roads, and everything in between. There are times you're picking along at walking speed, and other times cranking right along. Took a break at a small bar in Sandy Valley. Now this is where I knew this operation wasn't all about the Benjamins. They could easily partner up with another bar/restaurant as a stopover, and price food/drinks up to Strip levels, but they didn't. It was shocking to spend 2-3 bucks on a beer rather than 12. Hung out there until the group was ready to head back. On the way back, got hung up for about 15-20 minutes waiting for an off-road rally stage to finish up. That was cool also. Got back, our late lunch was on the grill, beers waiting for us. Great burger, well-stocked burger bar. Gordie basically tops his with a salad. Spent time chatting with other folks on our tour, and headed back to The Strip. This truly was the highlight of our trip. When I'm on vacation in Las Vegas I have to do an Atv tour. Since I've done so many, I wanted to do something different. A nighttime ATV Tour!! What is the difference between a Daytime and Nighttime tour besides the obvious? Have you every driven your car on a dark street with the lights off? Have you ever walked around your house with your eyes closed? It's an adrenalin rush. You can't see no more than 10 feet ahead of you and around you. When the dust kicks up in front of your headlights it look like little ghost images. The cactus looks like standalone skeletons. Your mind starts to play so many tricks on you because a lot of your senses have been heighten to another level. It's a rush. Not only is the burger good, the family that owns this tour is wonderful. The pickup van is extremely clean. Mel , the driver, makes you feel comfortable the moment you get into the van. My tour guide Mike will customize the tour to your level. He just wants you to have a great time. Very nice guy. I saved the best for last. Debbie is a person that follows through and can answer all your questions. I received a reminder two week before my tour to see if I want to keep it or cancel. I received another notice the day before and the day of my tour. I received a thank you email after my tour. This place has their stuff together. The only suggestion I have for them is that they need a logo on their clean white van. I'm sure this is coming soon. If you love doing Atv's, you have to try the nighttime tour. You won't regret it. read more

I can't say enough good things about Mel, Debbie, and Vegas Off Road Tours. My dad and I rented a 2 seater Razr and opted for the 2.5 hour tour-it ended up being closer to 3-3.5 hours! Great fun for a bachelor, bridal shower or group of friends. Picked us up (party of 4) at our hotel in Vegas and transported us out to Goodsprings. Side by sides fit my tall son perfectly. They let you stop along the way and you can switch up drivers. Saw wild horses and other desert wildlife. About 1/2 way on trip, you stop at a bar in the middle of nowhere. Very cool. They bring you back to the Saloon and your given a free burger lunch to end a great day. They transport you back to your hotel. All this was included in our package. This was hands down the best driving experience/tour I've ever done. I've done dune buggies in Cozumel, V.O.R.E. outside of Vegas, exotic racing driving experiences in different states, off-road trucks on the Baja strip outside of Cabo, but this one takes the cake. Definitely recommend the longer tour as you get that much more seat time and hit the sand/gravel trails. Debbie and Mel were so welcoming and had great stories to share. This place is 5 Stars. Given on the pricy side but worth the money. Very friendly and knowledge able team. Hours of ride time with well driving vehicles. Interesting terrain up and down hills and plenty of miles of just putting the "pedal to the metal". This certainly isn't a cookie-cutter experience; The ride is exciting, and you can take it easy or fast depending on your level of comfort.
