I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but it's required. I will say my 8 year old step daughter said she had fun but wished she had been around the horses more during her time there. When you sign a child up for a 3.5 hour HORSE camp; it is very frustrating when they report their horseback ride was about 20 minutes long. The rest of the time was spent playing with pet rats, dogs and cats! NOT OK!!! I've been around and owned several horses for the majority of my life and have never seen a working horse property look like such a dump. The woman claimed it was the mess from the storm a few days prior but it looked like that when I did a drive by the week before. Do not waste your money on this scam. I will be finding a legitimate riding stable for her to really learn to ride and care for a horse. read more

I had friend visit from out of town so I wanted to take her on a guided horseback tour. I made reservations with this company because I heard about it on Groupon. When I looked at the website, the Sunset Tour caught my eye so I called to book it. No one answered so I left a voicemail. I called in the early afternoon but no one returned my call until 10:00 am the following morning. I tried to book the Sunset Tour but all the lady said was "we can't" no legit reason but she offered us a tour at 2:00pm which was no big deal so I agreed. On the day of our scheduled tour (which was about a week after I booked the reservation) I received a text message that read exactly like this "Need TO cancel horse ride guide is sick" I received this text at 11:58am when my tour was scheduled for 2:00pm. Not only was it unprofessional for this business to send a text, I was only given 2 hours notice. About 20 minutes later I received a voicemail saying that their horse rangler is sick so they must cancel and to call back to confirm we received this message. She did not apologize whatsoever. I called about 30 times before I could get ahold of anyone. When someone finally answered, I asked if there was anyone else available to guide the tour because my friend was leaving the next day and she said no. Still she did not apologize. I explained to her how I thought it was inappropriate for her to send a text to cancel and she responded with "well I asked you to call me back" and when I told her I called about 30 times and no one answered she replied "well I saw you beeping on the other line but I was on the phone booking other tours" Her responses were contradicting and rude so I started yelling at her and only then did she start apologizing. At this point I was pissed so I hung up. ZERO STARS for their unprofessionalism and rudeness but since yelp does not allow that I put one star. Thumbs down! I've been trying to make an appointment since January! I bought the groupon for the 2-hour horseback riding tour last October. Their website is useless. They keep saying its booked until January... it's April now! I emailed them two months ago about wanting to book my tour. Someone responded saying they don't have any 2 hour tours available till April. Mind you, my voucher expires next week! So she put me on the waiting list and have yet to contact me... We booked Vegas Horse Camp through Groupon. Scheduled for 0900 camp class. I was informed via text at 2100 the night before the camp that it was CANCELLED due to not enough sign ups. I was instead offered a 90 minute trail ride, which is NOT what I paid for or wanted at all for my daughter so I asked to decline and nicely asked the owner to call me so we could discuss. No call in the morning so I text to say we would be there for the trail ride and was told my spot was taken by someone else. My daughter was very excited to do this camp and have a nice experience. Instead I received rude text messages back from the owner of this business threatening legal action if I post slanderous reviews. Ill add in the owners text messages instead. I'm copying the review I left on Yahoo... This is a horrible company to deal with. They offered rides available on Groupon that ended on Oct 14th, 2011. Since that time, they have not had a working phone number and they don't return emails. I've emailed them many many times to schedule a tour and heard back nothing. Then magically, they had a voicemail working that stated the date I wanted was unavailable. Once again, I've tried emailing and nothing was returned. I wasted money on a Groupon for this company and will be demanding my money back. What's the point of saying if you need help to call or email when they don't respond. Terrible, terrible, terrible! If I could give negative reviews I would. I sent them all my information a month in advance and they never showed up to pick us up for the tour. The worse part was that I checked the reviews on here beforehand and still thought to give them a try. My teenage daughter was so disappointed that was suppose to be the highlight of our trip. Horrible experience. Their web site leads you to believe they are in Eldorado Canyon instead they are in Henderson. The trail ride consisted of riding down a paved street, a turn around and photo opp in a little dirt strip thèn back. The place was a pig sty. My horse was sick. It awash terrible. Like everyone else, I agree, this place is horrible. A dump. They don't care about their horses. A caring person would have their horses in a decent place, well fed, feet properly taken care of, not this. I mentioned that my horse's feet were a little long for a 2 hour ride. I was told the cement wears them down. Not in two hours, and if we're on cement for 2 hours. that's not a trail ride. The trail guide was horrid. I heard all about her ex and her kid and how he's trying to scam her or someone scammed her. How she had boarders and they scammed her and how animal control is out to get her. Las Vegas Trail Riding had no signage, no hospitality at all. No one greeted us, it was not clear where to park nor where to go to let someone know we had arrived. We rang the front door bell with no response, we walked through all the old rusting cars, tractor parts, trash, etc., to find a young lady to let them know we had arrived, to only be sent away since we arrived 20 minutes early. There was no seating, no place to wash up after the ride. No hospitality at all. The guide thanked us and asked that we rate the ride, awaiting our tip since the guides only work for tips and are not paid, but the owner's daughter was rude and rough with the horses. The webpage does not reflect the real site. Not sure where the photos are from, but not from this place. I feel like they need to decide if they want to be a trail riding company or a junk yard, it was not clear what they wanted to be. The ride was supposed to last 90 minutes, but the ride only lasted 67 minutes. Oh well, the guide was nice and the horse ride was okay. The horses needed their hooves trimmed, and fresh water. Felt bad for the horses. The consent you sign even says you agree not to call the Human Society on them. I will not return to this site. The best thing about the trail ride was I got the special from Living Social so I did not have to pay the full price of $129.00 per person. The views are nice. read more
