The fried fish is only okay, the fish meat is very tender at least, but I much prefer the fried shrimp, the fried shrimp are so tasty! The tartar sauce that comes with what you order is amazing! You can also ask for a "red sauce" which is like a tartar sauce with horseradish in it. It's delicious and has the perfect kick to it. I absolutely love my fried shrimp with either the tartar sauce or red sauce. I tried a piece of my friend's fried frog legs and was pretty impressed! I think I will try that one next time. This place is cash only and might be hard to find immediately off the road.. So look for a big sign that says "wishing well child care".. The truck is right beside it. My only "complaint" would be that the vegetables served weren't very fresh, as I could tell they were previously frozen. I especially appreciated the construction of the Caesar salads! They were loaded to the brim with parmesan and dressing (which are obviously the best parts of the salad)! The rolls were perfectly fluffy and warm. This spot even got a pickle-hater to like fried pickles! I made the small mistake of ordering seafood at a steakhouse but regardless was not disappointed. The portion of shrimp was a tad small but the sides made up for it. It definitely feels like the food was made with love. Like many restaurants in the region, the walls were lined with beautiful mounts. The restaurant had a very homey feel. The service was very homey as well. Our server was incredibly sweet.
