After visiting the actual wonder of the world up close, when this famous name is mentioned, our expectations go way up. The food is good, fairly authentic in preparation, but does not actually leave me stunned like seeing the ivory white marble mausoleum sparkling in the sunrise for the first time. My go to Indian dish is the butter chicken and wifey loves ordering the Tandoori chicken, which we both did. Add a side of garlic Nan & basmati rice as a complement to the main course. Overall, we were pleased with the taste, although I should have gone up one spice level to perhaps get that combination of burn and flavor that I crave. The 65 chicken as an appetizer was ok, but we tend to like this dish deep fried & crispy, instead of baked. The restaurant is in a shopping center and shares space with the Thai Orchard business, as the same owner runs both restaurants. The inside dining is comfortable enough. The staff kept our drinks filled, which is always a plus to me. It was also nice that the drink selection included iced tea and fountain drinks, as us southerns desire and not typically offered in Indian restaurants.

Now their Mushroom Korma, to me, was not good. My wife wasn't impressed either. But the Butter Chicken curry was amazing. Very clean. Excellent service as well.

Let me begin by saying that I am not somebody who usually orders food to be delivered. But, today I…read morefound myself home alone, hungry for Indian food, and feeling way too wiped out from a rough day to head out and get something. I decided to use DoorDash. The wait for the delivery was only about an hour. That was fine with me, as I had plenty of things I needed to get done before I sat down to dine. When I lifted the bundle that was left at my door, I was shocked by the weight! I don't feel like I ordered all that much, but they sure sent a lot of food. I ordered lamb vindaloo, garlic, naan, rice, and samosas. All of it was truly delicious. The large pieces of lamb meat in the vindaloo were tender and soaked with the delicious flavor of the spicy sauce. There were not as many potato chunks as meat chunks, which I consider a good thing in vindaloo. The garlic naan was some of the best I have ever had. I ordered two of them, but really didn't need the second one. They were huge. By themselves, they tasted delicious, but when you dipped it into the vindaloo sauce, it was absolutely amazing. The very first Indian food I ever had was at a dinner party in 1973 when my family was living in Taiwan. The most memorable item for me was the samosas. The ones from this restaurant we're almost exactly like I remembered. I have to also comment on how well everything was packaged. All of the containers were shrink wrapped for extra precaution. I don't think anything could've leaked even if the driver put it upside down. I am anxious to go and try eating at the actual restaurant. Somehow it was off my radar. Supposedly, it's only 4.5 miles from my home who knew?

However, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, the place was very clean, and the buffet was excellent. Some things that I liked about the buffet, were some food options not offered in other buffets, the selection of sauces, and the desserts. My only issue, as usual, is the price was a bit high: $17. I still would return given that the food was very good and service was excellent. Worth a second visit.

Their customer service is ALWAYS kind, polite, upbeat, and seems to be happy to work there. The inside is chill, cozy and warm, although I always order to-go. I'd say for Indian food, their taste pallets lean more toward Americanized Indian versus truly traditional Indian; the plates are Indian food but the taste is more mild overall than the way Indian food has more spices. Thanks for being my awesome count-on Indian food place!

Tarka used to give me whole sliced lamb on a skewer stick on top a bed of rice with a variety of greens. After a while they removed the skewer sticks, I don't mind this change because the taste of the food is still the same, only they took away the skewer. At this point it shouldn't be called lamb kabobs, it is now lamb bites. I ordered it today and I got something I've never seen before, it was ground lamb discs, it looked like ground lamb burgers that break apart on top of rice. The flavor and texture was absolutely not there. Please change the lamb kabobs recipe back to what it used to be, and I'll edit my order. Why does the lamb kabobs get changed up so much when it is arguably the best item on the menu. I am severely disappointed and will never go back to eat here again until it changes.
