It is super easy to make appointments, all of the staff is really friendly, and the rooms are very clean. They got rid of one of the laser machine which tended to hurt a bit more (the gel application one) so now I feel more comfortable going in knowing it really won't hurt much! My technician is efficient, minimizes the pain like a pro, and is an all around friendly person. I'm about halfway through with the treatments (for underarms it's 8 sessions, 6 weeks apart) and the hair growth is already very minimal. Can't wait for to complete all the sessions. They send detailed pre and post care instructions, so I feel secure that I'm doing it right. They run good promotions throughout the year too, which is always a plus. Great location in LoHi, I've been in for Brazilian and underarm laser hair removal. Laser services are life changing and I will never go through the pain and skin irritation of waxing again. They often run promotions on their packages and appointments are scheduled 6 weeks apart, so the average monthly cost is surprisingly similar to what I was paying for waxing services. After getting laser for a year, occasionally maintenence appointments are needed to keep hair from regrowing. Also, it's important to know that hormonal changes like pregnancy can trigger regrowth of hair. I'm giving 2 stars because of the inconsistency, some of the techs are great and will get every spot so the hair goes away and others will be really choppy and not get everything. Now that I'm done with the packages and over 6 weeks out from my last appointment I still have to go get waxed. Naturally I'm not a hairy person at all so I thought getting laser hair removal would be perfect and I definitely think it could have been perfect for me if it was done correctly. In November 2020, I found a Groupon for laser hair Removal - I called laser beauty works and they said if I bought the package from them instead of Groupon they would honor the rate. I bought a year of laser hair from them for a discounted price -- however, they charged me more than the Groupon, which was the first problem. As I continued to go, I would ask what other treatments I could get - facials, Botox etc... The woman doing my laser hair would say "oh no no don't do anything else - you need products" and would continue to sell me products. I spoke to a friend who works on skin and she said while products are a big deal, you should definitely consider a facial to start. It's crazy they wouldn't recommend something. Then, when I would schedule appointments they'd be "too booked" to schedule me in 5-weeks (recommended time between appts) so it started getting pushed out 7-8 weeks. Then, 9-months after I purchased the discounted year price they say "you have one more appt left on this one I will turn up the laser and if you need more I'll get you another 10-pack of laser for X price" I was like sooo has this been on the lowest setting the whole time? Considering I went there for about 7 appointments and saw ZERO difference I wish I never wasted my money. I would save your money and literally go anywhere else. I still have the same hair growth I did to begin with, bought way more products than I needed to, never got recommended other facial treatments, overall it was a waste of a lot of money read more

I went here to get laser hair removal done and I am SOO pleased with the results. After only a few sessions my hair growth is down approximately 90%. I had to postpone the remainder of the sessions because of pregnancy, but I'm not even sure I will need the rest as I am so pleased with the marked improvement after only a few! I would say it was very effective, but I didn't have much hair to start with. Their laser is not painful compared to other places and was much more effective. 5/5 value for the laser itself. I also noticed they have raised prices this year. There is a small parking lot luckily so no dealing with street parking. Customer service- They have rescheduled me multiple times with little warning, which is annoying because I live so far away and have a crazy work schedule. Good luck booking through their "convenient" online portal, because they deny any appointments they feel like. The front desk people are hit or miss with how friendly or cold they are, and make it clear you're just a number here. Additionally, I notice that I'm treated totally differently if I show up in sweatpants versus full makeup/outfit. They front desk staff act like they can't give me the time of day when I'm not carrying my nice bag, and I find this ridiculous. When you work emergency room shifts, you wouldn't want to show up to your damn laser appointments looking like a ten every single time. For this reason I would not recommend overall. Invest in your skincare and go somewhere nicer. Irrelevant but interesting story - They try to hard sell you on fillers, and I found it very weird why they think most people would want that without expressing any interest initially. Just to make conversation I asked the owner if they use numbing cream and she looked at me horrified and told me with a straight face that lidocaine in any quantity is toxic. As an actual medical professional, this was laughable. By this logic novocaine and other numbing agents would also be toxic, so what are you going to do the next time you need a precancerous mole removed, or a root canal, go without and bleed for the next 24 hours? Laser isn't bad here, but customer service is and I would imagine getting fillers without numbing would be too. I also wouldn't trust anyone with your face who believes such nonsense. read more

I did a year worth of laser hair removal treatments on my midline, lip and chin and it was like I never got laser hair removal. Lisa was nice but extremely pushy every time I had an appointment. Always pushing me to add additional areas. When my 10 sessions ended I was told I would need to get another package as those areas don't typically become free of hair during your first year. I signed up and within a week canceled as I was told that you shouldn't ever leave a laser hair business a year later with the same amount of hair on you that you had from the beginning. read more

I made the appointment, arrived, and was basically laughed at by the receptionist. I am very fit, 6"2', and about 215lbs. The lady said in front of everyone in the waiting room. I should have started here instead of waxing with European Wax Center! Literally no more ingrown hairs I feel like it's a life changing miracle seriously! I used to get such painfully bad ingrows especially after I started regularly waxing. I did all of the "preventative" steps and still had a horrid time. Something had to change! I have been meaning to write a review for some time now and hate leaving poor reviews but I am unhappy with my results. The business itself is clean, nice and seemed to have great lasers but a couple years after my treatments my hair grows back fully in the area I got treatments as if I didn't go through a YEAR of laser treatments. I was told I was a prime candidate (fair skin, dark thick hair, etc) So pretty disappointing it did not work whatsoever. I have numerous friends that have had successful laser hair removal, I'm talking SMOOTH and hairless, and my experience was not successful and quite frankly, a waste of money. Just FYI for anyone out there considering this place, as this was my end result. I will go where my friends went and hope to have a better experience there. read more

They aren't "thorough" if you know what I mean. Kinda snobby too, and don't really try to get every nook and cranny like they should. You get a years worth of treatment (every 6 weeks) but they don't really make an effort to get ya fully covered in those sessions. I'm sure when my treatments are up I'll still need to go back and pay out the yinger for more cause they didn't try very hard the first nine times. Give your clients the goods people! They're paying good money for your services. Serve us! Also, they don't ever answer their phones for some reason. And they don't call back when you leave messages. I've tried three places now for laser hair removal and this is BY FAR the best as far as the amazing service, reasonable prices, and knowledgeable staff. I'm using the alexandrite laser and I've seen great results as far as reduction in hair growth, no more razor burn, and having to shave less. Leanne is amazing! She's very knowledge about the treatments and lasers and does a very thorough and fast job (it's not the most comfortable thing, so it's nice that she gets through it more quickly than some people, while still not missing any areas).
