Sesen is my go to facial spot in Denver. I've never received a bad facial from them and I've been a client here for years. They are 5 star all around, from the ambiance of the room (comfy warm beds & relaxing music) to the friendly & skilled staff, and the products that they use, which are clean & do wonders for my skin. I always see Shaylynn and couldn't love her more! Last year she put together a personalized 6 month plan for my wedding, (which I was so appreciative of) and she's now helping me through hormonal acne. Not only is she the best esthetician I have ever seen in terms of skill, she's also incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to all things skin! I learn something new from her every apt. I'm not sure why this spa has so many good reviews. I went in today for a clarifying facial and got one extraction, 25 seconds of steam, and 8 coats of random serums. The aesthetician didn't even touch my jaw where most of my acne is and I came home and did most of the extractions myself. Very disappointed with the way management handle a situation. I was excited to get a facial few days before my wedding since I just moved here some people recommended I reach out to Sesen Skin Body Wellness. My appointment was scheduled for Monday afternoon, I'm flying out Tuesday morning I received a voicemail Sunday. I emailed and left a voicemail no one bother to reach out to me. I was left out in the dark, and super stressed not the ideal situation few days before my wedding. My appointment was canceled due to the esthetician getting sick, 100% agree it needs to be canceled however if that's not the problem. I called back to have another esthetician take me in however no one contacted me. I email them and left a voicemail no one contacted me. Immediately booked a reservation with professionals in Denver, called Smoothe Denver where they care about their clients and provide amazing services. I just got microneedling done by Nydiah, and I absolutely loved this studio. She made getting punched in the face with needles feel luxurious and relaxing- not an easy feat. The energy here is really good, and Nydiah was very knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable and grounded. This was the most amazing microdermabrasion I have ever had in my life. First off this entire place smells amazing. With your Microderm you get this initial ritual where they give you a little chest/neck massage and make you comfortable. The bed is heated!!! I was so cozy laying under the blanket. At the end you also get red light/blue light therapy. I really enjoyed the relaxing music as well. Unfortunately I don't remember the girls name that did my facial, but she was amazing. When you are new to town, you have to be proactive about your skin in this heavily sunlit, high-plains desert. I went here for the first time yesterday and really enjoyed my lactic acid facial with Laura. I was running late and she made me feel at ease after a very stressful drive over (you have a 15min window FYI). The facial itself was very relaxing and my skin felt great afterwards. I knocked off a star because I made this appt with Stacy, I was sent an email a few days ago simply stating the appt was now with Laura, so I wrote back saying I had chosen to see Stacy...Shannon wrote me an apology for the confusion and switched it back to Stacy, only for me to come in and have an appt with Laura. Like I said she was great, but why give us the choice to choose who we want to have the appt with online if they're going to choose in the end? I was pretty nervous about getting the microneedling portion, but Julie was amazing. She was super gentle and explained everything she was doing and what to expect on each part. After reading the reviews on yelp I thought I'd try this place out. I went through a 5 step process with Stacey using micro needling to fix my acne scars. I have never been so pleased with the way my skin has looked. I saw results right away after the first procedure! My friends and family all notice the difference and they all comment how smooth my skin looks. She never tries to push you to buy anything. In fact, she'll recommend a product and write the name down for you so that you can shop around for a good price. Her prices are comparable to everywhere else so I have only bought skin care from her. This place has a very calming effect on you. Wonderfully decorated, the scents are inviting, the music she chooses takes you to another part of the world. You could curl up on the beds and sleep all day. Perfect way to relax, and take an hour or so to take care of yourself. Tip: Join her emailing list. You won't get bombarded with emails, she hardly ever emails.
