Wow I get to be the first Yelp!!!. Dr Kraft tried to tell me not to make this too personal but how can I not? I've been on fentanyl for 17 years. (Unlike most infants my son was tapered off of opioids which I think is one of the major problems with children today is that they aren't.) That was back when it was kind of new and it was only 25. Every 4 hours was getting old for breakthrough medicine and you can't imagine the pain from feeling your spinal cord split open. I have a brain tumor you get to age with, an arachnoid cyst. That disease mixed with syringomyalia and a chiari are what I call the trifecta. Then I noticed EDS, Lupus & MS being sprinkles on the top.(I run a brain tumor foundation and can't help but be a doctor patient). I always suspected I had EDS because it goes with an arachnois cyst and until I read it eats your joints I knew I had it because I have a total shoulder replacement and I can put my feet behind my neck. I know I am 50 and I should have been diagnosed sooner but when you have someone who knows their craft like Dr Kraft then you can't help but feel the results practically immediately. I've had many rhyzottomies since 1998 and told Dr Kraft that I could feel the sensation as soon as he did it. He didn't believe me until I came crying into his office wanting to give him a big fat hug and unable to because he's not that kind of doctor, always thinking too much, and it's covid. But I've never wanted to hug anybody more than I did at that moment. I'm called "highly responsive" I feel because of all these rhyzottomies and epidurals that didn't really work but kind of numbed the pain of a rhyzotomy. Last week before I had a rhyzotomy I did a laser treatment and the next day I was in so much pain I cried and just put myself out and when I woke up in excruciating pain on Friday I thought I had missed my appointment and was going to be tortured over the weekend. Luckily I didn't miss my appointment and the treatment took the swelling down immensely. So much so that it was on my drive to my appointment that I realized it was over. 17 years. I cried all the way to my appointment as I drove myself wondering why I wasn't changing my patch. Why I didn't need it after 17 years. My husband didn't even survive but twelve because he had his hidden addiction to my medication so well that I lost him four years ago. Dr Kraft how can I not be personal? I had a doctor who had me on 8.002 g a fentanyl a day and I finally had one dr say that he was trying to kill me and I couldn't believe it because I was so bent. Many many unspeakable things happened to me as well as almost dying 5x because I couldn't understand what was going on having brain damage mixed with so many narcotics. I am not an "addict" and I have been called everything from a junkie w**** to all kinds of things but being called an "addict" is the most insulting thing to someone who is "chemically dependent" and doesn't want to be on this s***. My husband took one of my pills in front of me right before he died. I looked at him and said,"what does it do for you?" "I can walk." I don't think I got his answer. 17 years, Dr Kraft, is my child's entire life. I missed out on so many years of life because drs got me hooked, fentanyl is a very mind bending drug that warbles your life. I've been crying the whole time I've been writing this because I'm a writer and yesterday I woke up for the first time in 17 years able to think clearly because of Dr Kraft's Lightsabers. I can walk a lot easier I can talk a lot easier and I can feel things that I haven't felt in years, naturally. I never thought I could feel like I could live to be a 100 until now. I never felt like I could live or have a life that didn't involve fentenyl. I still need breakthrough meds but not fentanyl anymore and you have no idea what 17 years of my life on that s*** have been like. I can't believe I'm alive to tell you this is the best method I stumbled upon while looking for different modalities to get me through this awful pain and muscle spasms that never stop. It's nice to think about going on long trips although I would need a machine. But it's just nice to think about going on a real trip for a weekend and being able to drive because the vibrations don't hurt. My nerves have not calmed completely down but my neuropathy isn't as bad. I told them they should make a suit for everybody's joints but that's going to be a ways down the road. read more

I had one treatment for a neck bulging disc today. Even though I'm not expected to see relief for a few sessions, my headache went away after treatment. Doctor Kraft knows the body and he cares. I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Kraft's laser treatment. I have had HORRIBLE back pain for the past year. I did physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, massages, tried muscle relaxers, steroids, anti-inflammatories and even an epidural injection - all with no relief. The only thing that seemed to work for me was Norco and I didn't like being on such powerful pain killers 24/7. I'm only 30 years old and I'm extremely active with the gym and other fitness-related activities. My back pain was severely affecting my daily life - I couldn't even hold my purse. It even made me afraid I wouldn't be able to have children because I couldn't lift any weight for more than 5 minutes without horrible pain. I've had back pain for 35+ years; like 'most everyone with back pain, I've tried everything: acupuncture, physical therapy, chiropractic, massage, you name it - but relief remained elusive. Orthopedists want to perform surgery, which I'm completely against. I discovered the benefits of the Laser4 for pain two years ago from a friend whose dog had undergone an amazing transformation when its vet used the Laser4 on its bad hips. On one visit to my friend's home on the east coast, I saw how she had to push her dog in a stroller because it couldn't walk more than few steps on its own. A few months later, on my next visit, the dog was running like a pup. I actually called the vet myself and begged for treatments on my back while I was visiting. The vet kindly complied. First three visits to the vet for laser I experienced no change in my back pain. On my fourth visit - voila!! I felt marvelous. Since then, I've been searching for doctors (who treat humans) to give me Laser4 treatments. I scheduled 2 appointments a day for 3 days in a row. If I lived in LA I would have scheduled appointments spaced farther apart, probably 2 appointments a week for three weeks. But since I was traveling time was of the essence and Dr Kraft was willing to work with me (another thing I really like about Dr Kraft: he doesn't dictate treatments, he WORKS WITH the patient). I had the expectation that after one intense treatment I'd feel amazing and the subsequent treatments I had scheduled would just be icing on the cake. However, I did NOT feel relief from pain after my first visit - or after the second. By the end of the second day I was feeling discouraged ... I loved the soothing warmth of the laser but I wasn't getting the deep-down relief I craved. After three days of intense laser treatments twice a day with Dr Kraft, I returned to Portland. I still hadn't found total relief from pain. However, the third day I was home I awoke feeling like a new woman -- I had complete relief from pain -- and that relief was beyond exquisite. I sprang from my bed and twirled around, danced an impromptu little dance with my husband, and immediately e-mailed Dr Kraft that the laser had done its job - and done it masterfully. I spent my day shopping and running around and enjoying life as I hadn't in a very long time. My mother suffers from arthritis pain on her knee and a family friend referred us to Dr. Kraft. after 3 sessions my mother is not completely cured from arthritis, but her pain diminished. I came across Dr krafts practice randomly during a trip to la to se some family. I've had chronic back pain and slipped disks herniated disked and compressed nerves and heavy muscle spasms. I came in for a session and honestly I felt a little offput by the people like they were really trying to sell me on this treatment but there was no need because I could tell a difference from the very first session. I let after having two areas done and went straight to the airport to change my flight so I could stay another day and have more done. They were able to fit me in that afternoon because my flight was at 6 but I went to change it and then come back to their office to get another round. I will say between the time it took for me to leave them after telling them I MIGHT be coming back in like 3 hours they called me SEVERAL times asking me to confirm, asking what time I was coming and they called me in the Uber to ask how far away I was after I told them I was coming within the next half an hours. They just called me a ridiculous amount of times throughout the entire process that was kind of annoying but the proceeded hot laser did wonders for my pain. It did seem like the dr was trying to sell me on it like he kept telling me how great it was and how many success stories he has, and he kept telling me that he was ~probably~ the cheapest guy for the most amount of laser and so I should just come back to him even though I live across the country. He did tell me what to look for when I got back home but then kept saying things like well you could always just fly back here for treatment because I'm the best. I just felt like let the laser speak for itself he could have not said a word to me and I would've come back to throw my money at him because it gave me such relief. Long story short the hot laser ( he told me it has to be the hot one not the cold one) is amazing I've never gone anywhere else but here but I know this place is worth it but you could probably find the same thing somewhere else if you prefer a different doctor or staff. I don't know about other places pricing but I will say he told me multiple times he was the cheapest for the most amount, I would say if you wanted to to your whole back from your shoulders to your lower back you would have to buy 3-4 doses ( they draw out a rectangle on the area you designate but it's fairly small for the back about 1/3 of a small back is one dose) and it was about 120$. The actual treatment takes about ten minutes and just feels warming at first and then comes the relief. It's said patients can tell differences within the first 1-3 treatments. I felt it right way but had more sessions done and it has lasted me a month so far and I'll be looking out for how long it last me. Ultimately I think it's worth it if your in any sort of pain especially if you're like me and have tried everything else through pain management and too many doctors. I don't know if this is a permanent fix but it has definitely been super beneficial to me and I plan to return to it for sure. Glad I found it ! read more

I am 73 years old. When I was told, at 65, by a surgeon that I needed both back and neck operations. I was shocked! My active life was already declining, but surgery? A back operation was out of the question for me. My wife is a Chiropractor, and has treated many failed back operations. According to my MRI's my spine and neck issues are due to a variety of reasons, including, lumbar stenosis L4-L5, cervical stenosis C3-C4, lumbar disk degeneration, and lumbar spondylolthesis. I decided to try an epidural injection. After receiving two epidural injections in my back and one in my neck, with no results, I elected to try physical therapies, chiropractics, and a variety of other treatments. All with no relief. My back and neck pain was severe. I had given up, and figured this was my life. Per chance, I noticed an ad for Laser MD Pain Relief. Plans were being made for surgery to my upper spine at the neck. I saw the MRI and at C4 and C5 it was bone on bone. I had little range of mobility and constant headaches and a left arm that was very often numb and tingling. I have the best Neurosurgeon in California and I trust him implicitly. However, i saw the Laser Pain Relief Ad on Facebook and since I live close to the office I decided to give Dr Kraft a chance. I AM SO VERY HAPPY with the results. My mobility has increased substantially, the headaches are seldom and the numbness in my arm only rarely occurs. I had heard about a type of laser used for pain from a friend who had significant relief from her back pain. After a couple of years with on and off pain and inflammation in my wrist, I decided to give laser a try. First the office: it's very pleasant in Manhattan Beach near a mall with an Apple store and across from another shopping center -- that was a plus since I could combine treatment with running some errands. And there's plenty of parking. Dr. Kraft (who is very nice) evaluated my wrist and showed me the mechanics of what was causing the inflammation and pain. I appreciate the education he gave me and now I have a better understanding of what has been happening. I went ahead with the 1st treatment then. The treatment is quite pleasant -- the laser is warm and feels like a gentle massage. I had 3 more treatments over the following 10 days. The inflammation has definitely receded and I have pretty much full use of my wrist again. The big test for me is whether I can put my body weight on my wrist during yoga and workouts. I am being careful in the sense that I don't try pushups or planks every day, but so far I am back to putting my body weight on my wrist and have not had pain or swelling! I came to see Dr. Kraft for pain I've had in my neck for the past twelve years. My pain is caused by some degenerative changes and exacerbated by stress and strenuous motions. I've been in pain killers and muscle relaxers/ topical and oral with no real resolution to the problem. I completed five laser sessions at the office. I have had lower back trouble for almost 5 years. Unbearably painful. I have had 18 epidurals and even radial frequency ablation (burning of the nerve endings), all to no avail. I took my 77 year old mom here for her low back pain from spinal stenosis of the lumbar spine. She has had spinal surgeries, epidurals and has been on pain meds for years. I've seen a few PTs and chiros for my knee pain and I have to say that Dr. Kraft has been the best, by far. I have Chronic Regional Pain Syndrome in my shoulder from recurrent college ice hockey injuries and have been in some form of daily pain for 15 years. I have had 5 surgeries, close to a hundred joint injections and dozens of stellate ganglion blocks including CT guided.
