My after operation experience was pretty good. The back pain was gone in a few weeks and it was very mild during that time. Brace came off after 2 months and I had no back pain. My muscles were weak , so l started therapy. I did a lot of walking after the operation and going to the gym after the brace came off. Now 5 months after the operation I'm going to the gym at least 3 days a week and still walking. I have absolutely no pain in my back and sitting is no problem. It is like it never happened. We have seen many medical specialists due to the unique nature of my daughter's condition. Dr. Rogers is by far the most condescending, rude, and dismissive practitioner we have seen. Instead of listening to our concerns, she spoke at us and immediately dismissed my daughter's questions. She also did not show us the four X-rays that we took in the office, unlike other specialists we have seen. Furthermore, Dr. Rogers was unprofessional and insulted another specialty that my daughter was referred to within the same network. We will not be going back for a follow up, and will seek a second opinion elsewhere. If you are someone with chronic conditions or complex medical history, please seek care elsewhere. read more

An incredible back surgeon!!! I got up one evening just sitting around watching a baseball game at home and the next thing I know I had an incredible pain run from my lower back to my left leg. I tried a chiropractor for about a month, and that didn't do much. My wife found Dr Roger's by word of mouth and I scheduled an appointment. She tried an epidural, which work for about a week. I went back in to see her and told her "that didn't work ". She scheduled a surgery in about 10 days and performed a micro surgery on my fifth vertebrae. It was a in and out procedure. That first night I finally got to sleep in my own bed again after spending many countless nights in my recliner. Now to this day I feel as if nothing had ever went wrong. Would advise seeing another Orthopedic Surgeon Dr than Rogers. I'm in process of joining the military and needed to see an Ortho for a consultation about my neck condition, barring me from potentially joining. I scheduled an appointment with her and explained that I have recent x-days along with x-rays in the Torrance system. That I would like her to evaluate my range of motion. When I arrived, I was approached by one "nurse" who questioned my x-days along with its validity. They didn't trust that the x-rays I brought in were mine. That was the first red flag. Once in the room was asked again by another nurse to see the x-rays. I asked if there was a concern and she mentioned the DR. can't properly evaluate conditions off of laptop x-rays (I clearly explained what I had multiple times, even before my appt). When Rogers entered the room, I could tell her energy was immediately negative. Like I was wasting her time from being there. Explained my situation for trying to enlist into the military and she showed no interest to be there. We did some exercises and stated numerous times that I didn't have any pain and had full range of motion. After my appointment I realized she put me down for having neck pain (which we confirmed I didn't have) and another neck condition I didn't agree with and requested a call back. 3 days go by, and I finally receive a call back. Her first words were "Have about one minute because I need to get back to other patients" (How rude). I questioned her diagnosis and asking her to change it because it contradicts what other doctor's I've seen, and I just don't fit all of the symptoms. She pushed back and even mentioned that "it won't stop me from joining the military"... (Guess she knows about military standards now) Majority of these reviews are fake to boost her reviews, and my experience was nothing short of pleasant. Save yourself time and hassle to look for another doctor who will take the time to see you and listen. Would not even trust her with surgery or diagnosis of any conditions based off her attitude and unwillingness to work with patients. read more

Dr. Rogers is amazing. I had a severely painful herniated disc that wasn't allowing me to stand for more than 1 minute at a time, due to sciatica. We discussed options and determined surgery to be the only one to relieve the pain and restore me to my previous level of activity (skiing, hiking, boogie boarding, camping, etc.). She performed a L4/5 interbody disc fusion on April 23, 2024. Upon waking up from the surgery, the sciatica pain was gone! Obviously, there was the normal healing from the incision, but I was walking with a walker in the hospital and at home for a week or so then went to PT for several months and am now cleared for my normal activity! I highly recommend her, not only for her kindness, understanding and clear communication, but her amazing surgical skills. read more

On May 27 2025, I underwent a major spinal surgery a couple of months before my 70th birthday, and I have zero regrets. My spine was a disaster; sciatica, scoliosis, budging discs, and lumbar compression; which required Spinal fusion and lumbar decompression. This one surgery immediately eliminated the nerve pain, straightened my spine using titanium screws. After a 4hour surgery I feel better than I have felt in years, yes there is some pain, and discomfort from the surgery, but that is to be expected. I am so thankful to have found Dr. Rodgers, Jeff Satterfield and their staff, they are truly an A team. There are a number of horror stories floating around about "back surgeries," and yes I have heard them too, but what helps is a team working to improve your overall quality of life by completely educating you on your current condition, the necessary procedure, and the aftercare. If you follow the prescribed treatment plan, you will be better for it. This was an effortless no-brainer for me. Dr. Rogers and her team run like a well-oiled machine. The Surgical Scheduler presented me with available dates for my surgery, and worked with my PCP to ensure all post-op tests were performed, all the while keeping me involved The hospital to confirm my check in date, and explain the check in procedures. I met my anesthesiologist prior to my surgery, and the person in charge of monitoring my nerves during surgery. I feel much better, and the change is noticeable to my family. My gait, balance, and overall ability to stand and walk has vastly improved. I am now in physical therapy and my life will only continue to improve. Dr Rogers is a rock star! I am so grateful that I found her! I am officially 11 months past my spine surgery. For many years I endured increasing hip and lower back pain. My condition caused my legs to collapse underneath me. I needed pain medication and heating pads to sleep. I ignored the situation thinking I didn't have time for surgery. Finally, the situation became dire. We had just moved to the LA area and had no doctors so I looked online for spine surgeons and made an appointment. From my first appointment, I was confident that I had found the right doctor to address my back, hip and leg pain. When I met Dr. Rogers, it was clear she was a straight-shooter. She showed me the x-rays which showed that my vertebrae was a centimeter out of alignment and the MRI which indicated that there was no space for my nerves causing issues with my back, hips and legs. Surgery involved replacing a disc with a spacer and repositioning and fusing the vertebrae. As a former teacher, I have been impressed with Dr. Rogers explaining why certain conditions have occurred and what various treatment option results can be expected. She was always clear about the time to recover to various levels. She determined PT options which appealed to me and were right for my treatment and strength levels. Dr. Rogers is a gifted surgeon and has a background in physical therapy allowing her to target PT for each patient's needs. Dr Rogers has guided my recovery and been a source of motivation as I recovered my strength and endurance. I followed every direction of both Dr Rogers and the PT professionals and have had amazing results because of the right care team and a determined attitude. Now I travel and enjoy life without restrictions or pain. I am healthier than I have been in ten years. More importantly I can maintain my health because have a strong back and body. I CAN WALK AGAIN!!! When I first saw Dr Roger's I was in unbearable pain. My sciatic nerve was on fire. My leg, foot , and toes were numb. I could not find relief in any position. This went on for 6 months. Dr Roger's was the third Dr I saw. She new immediately what the problem was. A bulging disk pressing on my sciatic nerve. We tried epidural, but still no relief. Although nervous to have "spine surgery", she explained exactly what would be done and settled My fears. Dr Roger's performed a discectomy on my L5 disc. When I woke I was still in pain. Well nerves rhat are angry for so long take time to heal. She told me give it some time. Over the next two weeks I noticed I was more comfortable. Two weeks later I was PAIN FREE!!! My leg still tingles but that will take some time. I got my life back!!! Pain free!! I am so so thankful for Dr. Roger's and her team. My son-in-law (who broke his back but didn't need surgery), my wife (who broke her back and did require surgery), and myself have all been successfully treated by her. Dr. Rogers' team of office staff is truly excellent and responsive. Dr. Rogers not so much. I started having lower back pain/leg numbness and expected to see Dr. Rogers. Instead, Dr. Rogers' P.A., Jeff Satterfield, whom I thought a doctor due to his stethoscope, came in. Dr. Rogers only came in later and stayed for about 5 minutes to read my prior x-rays or ct scans. Neither Mr. Satterfield (with whom I was alone at first) nor Dr. Rogers asked my permission to run their hands on my thighs before doing it, stunning me with the unexpected personal intrusion. I had to ask what they were doing and why. Doctor R. diagnosed my condition and set up further testing, but since her PA had told me I couldn't do certain back-easing moves (like toe-touching), I asked her what I could do. She said she'd talk w/me after the testing came back, and rushed out. For the 2d meeting, I refused the office trying to set me up to see only the P.A. After she had finished talking about 5 mins. w/me, Dr. Rogers again was in a hurry to leave. She refused repeatedly to answer any specific exercise questions, instead telling me I could do anything that felt good and not do anything that felt bad. Specifically, I could touch my toes, in direct contraction to her PA's statements. I also asked her, for the aqua physical therapy staff (and myself), for any specific guidance for my case re: water therapy treatments. She blew us off, saying the staff knew what to do. I left confused by conflicting advice and worried about left-leg numbness starting. Dr. Rogers had told me that surgery shouldn't be an option until I was at the "writhing in pain; couldn't sleep every night" level or until my left leg became more numb than it already was. ** I was thinking I needed a 2d opinion about that--not wanting any nerve damage to be permanent.** However, I agreed to try a epidural w/steroids. Again, the Doctor gave me no info up front about risks, etc. So, I wouldn't sign the hospital's "informed" consent until she told those upon me asking right then and there. Sadly, it epidural didn't work for more than 2 days. Leery now about dealing with this doctor, I though I'd try one more time determine what to do next. Today I came in for my 9:00 a.m. appointment and saw that she had double-booked me with what looked like a very elderly, first-time patient, whom she took at 9:00. At around 9:25, hearing nothing, I told the front desk staff that I had a 9:00, not a 9:30 appointment, and was leaving. My time is important, too. In sum, the patient must sit silent with this doctor. Her patient interaction with me was poor--as she said after she'd finished talking w/me but when I tried to get any answers, "Let me drive this train." read more

9/25/19 I have had a few new experiences/interactions with this business. (Someone got my last update removed from Yelp because they didn't think my last update related to a new experience or interaction. So to clarify, it definitely did. And now I have more to report.) I received several more calls and voicemails from Dr. Rogers' office after my last update, telling me to pay my bill that I had the receipt for. My insurance company put a stop to it. Someone I don't know named Kimball W. sent me a message on Yelp arguing about my experience and Dr. Rogers' federal criminal case, and I had to block them. Her case is still not settled; you can read all about it online on the DOJ website. It's not a secret, and I believe that consumers should be aware. I also recently realized that she prescribed me medication that she shouldn't have because I was already on something very similar. I'm not sure how she didn't catch that or bring it up to me. I'm glad I never filled it. It bothers me so much that she's still accepting patients knowing all the evidence against her, the experience I personally had with her, and her office's active attempt to influence Yelp reviews. They now have over 50 5 star reviews, many of them very recent? They have definitely been recruiting people to post positive things for them. That was not the case a few months ago. Considering her federal case is about kickbacks for referrals, that's not a good look. Stay away. read more

Dr. Rogers and her team were fantastic in diagnosing and treating my recent concern. I had ongoing lower back pain for months and I tried numerous remedies (chiropractor, PT, stretching, etc.). Nothing I did improved the condition, in fact the sciatic pain continued to get worse to the point it was severely debilitating. I final was referred to Dr. Rogers. She was professional, highly informative, and accurate in her diagnosis. Within 3 days of meeting her the first time, I was recovering from microdiscrectomy surgery on my L3/4 and 4/5 for severe herniated discs. My sciatic pain was gone immediately. Recovery is ongoing and on track and I just can't thank Dr. Rogers enough. For anyone living with severe back pain, please take the time to see the professionals. After reading some of these reviews I felt compelled to write one in myself. All I can speak on is my own experience with Dr Rogers and I couldn't be more satisfied. I appreciated her assertiveness to my needs and gave me straight up answers. No nonsense and no sugar coating. If you want a solid surgeon who genuinely cares I would recommend Dr Rogers hands down. Read between the lines in some of these reviews. Giving a bad review because of a front desk error is in my mind ridiculous and should not be complained about here. If she operates on the wrong body part here would be a great place to complain not about insurance bs... I came to her with severe back pain and post surgery had some non surgery related snags. She was very patient and did everything she could to accommodate me which is more than I could ask for. Dr. Tiffany Rogers performed a spinal fusion on my lower spine at the beginning of May, 2023. Before I had the surgery I could barely walk due to severe pain going down both sides of my legs. I had surgery fairly soon after the diagnosis. Right after the surgery I was again able stand up straight and walk without nerve pain in my legs. It was amazing!
