Dr. Wu is exactly what my mother and I needed! He is incredibly thorough, detailed, and meticulous…read morewith his work. He makes the to explain medical terms and anatomical functions of your conditions and best available procedures to correct the conditions. Furthermore, he is comfortable with going into greater details about how the procedure/ procedures will improve the medical conditions. I was so surprised that after decades of my mother having spinal surgeries and epidurals by traditional orthopedic surgeons, she was left is severe debilitating pain. Her only recourse was pain medication, which left her tired, sleepy, and hopeless every day. She had a L5/S1 fusion and c4/c5 herniated disk surgery, and recently was diagnosed with spondyliothis/ degenerative spine condition. To make matters worse, the L5/S1 fusion has compacted the above vertebrae and worn down the cushion in L4 to the point of bone on bone. We had been searching for a remedy for years, and we're only offered cortisone, epidurals, and ultimately fusion surgery (again), by doctor after doctor. Until.... We met Dr. Wu. In 15 minutes he explained an outpatient procedure that we had never heard of, that for the first time - actually made sense! So we gave it a try. In 15 minutes, Dr. Wu completed his recommended procedure on my mother. In 2 days, she was walking without a walking stick/ cane, not needing wheelchair assistance, not debilitated by severe pain, nor completely dependent on medications like nerve modulators, or opioid pain killers, or muscle relaxants to maintain her daily activities. A week later, I am truly amazed that his work has reduced her pain by more than 60% and now she is walking and smiling and laughing again. She has improved drastically, and now I am blessed to enjoy holding her hand while walking together - something we have not done since I was much younger. I missed so many years of this special experience with her. Thank you so much, Dr. Wu; for giving us new memories to rekindle. PS. Thank you for diagnosing and treating my bursitis. I can bend my knee again and walk without a painful limp. I had no idea the problem could be fixed so quickly and feel so much better! Sincerely, Yamina

Amazing Experience - Highly Recommend…read more I had my surgery at Beach City Orthopedic Sports Medicine, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with respect and kindness. The staff made me feel comfortable right away, and everyone I encountered was professional, friendly, and very respectful. You can truly tell they care about their patients. My surgery on my right hand went smoothly and was a complete success. I've honestly never been to a medical facility where everyone was this sweet and welcoming. I highly recommend this office to anyone dealing with hand or leg injuries. Five stars isn't enough -- if I could give 100 stars, I would.

This place is an Atrocity and should be shut down for incompetence, inefficiency and absolute…read moredisregard for patient care, patient respect and time. If you ever get assigned to come to this place, you might as well lawyer up. You have a better chance to take care of yourself with the money you get from winning a lawsuit than receive "care" at this place. This place is garbage. They make a patient come at a certain time and make the patient wait for over three hours! Just waiting for three hours! Such incompetence! This happened to us twice already!!! my mom waited over three hours for nothing! How are there not multiple lawsuits concerning beach cities Orthopaedics?!!!?!!!!

I came here for physical therapy after my ACL reconstruction and I was a bit nervous and worried…read morebecause I've never had to go through physical therapy and just received absolutely horror stories from my peers about how much pain their experience in PT. My first day I crutched in and I had a physical therapist assigned to me and that was Jessica Dungca. She was calm, welcoming, understanding and generally had an aura of trust around her. That first day we went over my situation, treatment plan for the next two weeks and she even cleaned up my post op area around my knee and reapplied new dressings and what not, I did not expect that to happen and it was so nice of her. She is also very adamant about getting you the paperwork you need for work. I requested a duty limitation letter from her on a Friday morning and she had it easy to go on Monday morning, in my inbox of my email. Very professional, caring and helpful with anything you need in your recovery. Fast forward three (3) months, I absolutely love Jessica and Russell as my PT team. They are so nice, welcoming, understanding and supportive when it comes to recovery. They both listen and care when you are feeling uncomfortable with movements and have an alternative ready to go. All in all, I would highly recommend this Torrance office for physical therapy and ask for Jessica and Russell! Cannot recommend them enough.
