There are two laser room options. In one you get 90 seconds to slice through the lasers and rack up points for how many you get. The second is where you dodge lasers, Mission Impossible style. In this room you can have one or two players and choose easy, medium, hard or expert. If you buy a pass for the mirror maze you get unlimited runs all day. We used our Get Out Pass for one free run through the laser slicing room. The kids came out laughing and begging for more. It got expensive quick as i dropped $50+ for an all day mirror maze pass and a few more runs through the laser rooms. Worth it though because the kids had a blast and ran out so much energy! We ran into friends and while us moms sat and chatted the kids ran through the mirror maze for another two hours. Expensive but if the kids stay entertained is worth it Instagram: @msbusyblonde

GetOutPass beware. False advertisement. On the GetOutPass app.. clearly laser maze is third on their list. The manager informed us that they were no longer part of the GetOutPass regardless of it being listed on the app. She mentioned we should have called to make sure they participated. It was on the app!! Had she have been pleasant and not had the attitude of not wanting to be there, we would have bought tickets for the four of us anyways. We go to laser tag several times a month because our boys love it so much. Bad customer service and apparently not worth the experience based off the reviews.

It's also a great spot to entertain and tire out the kids! Lol There's even a Ferris wheel, but it was way too hot for us to ride. We also found a photo booth near the restrooms ($8), which was a fun little bonus. It's conveniently located near OdySea, Topgolf, and Talking Stick, and it's super easy to get to from the freeway. If you're visiting during the summer, I'd recommend saving the outdoor walking for the cooler months and spending the hotter afternoons indoors at OdySea.

1 Star - Dangerous and disappointing experience on the Big Wheel…read more I rode the Boardwalk Big Wheel at Arizona Boardwalk today with my two young boys, ages 2 and 4. The experience was honestly terrible and, more importantly, felt unsafe. It was 105°F outside, and we were placed in the orange #15 gondola. The gondolas are primarily enclosed by glass and have no effective air conditioning. The AC in ours was clearly broken and was blowing hot air instead of cooling the cabin. Within minutes, all three of us were drenched in sweat and the heat inside was becoming extremely uncomfortable. The biggest issue was that the attendant locked us inside the gondola despite the extreme heat. We waved at her to let us out, but she didn't. We went around the entire wheel and, when we came back around, we waved again. She saw us, but still didn't open the door. I ultimately had to yell and knock on the glass to get her attention before she finally let us out after the second trip around. When we got off, I explained what had happened to the attendant. Her response was essentially an unenthusiastic, unapologetic "sorry." There was no concern about whether my children or I were okay, no offer to move us to a functioning gondola, and no refund or other attempt to make the situation right. I paid $22.71 for the ride, but the money isn't really the issue. What concerns me is putting young children into an enclosed, extremely hot gondola with a malfunctioning cooling system and then failing to respond when the passengers are clearly asking to get out. I would strongly recommend that Arizona Boardwalk inspect and properly maintain these gondolas and, more importantly, make sure attendants respond immediately when passengers are signaling that they need to exit. I would not recommend riding the Boardwalk Big Wheel, particularly with young children in extreme heat.

I do recommend not wearing any thick or heavy clothes and bringing as little items as possible, because you will be moving A LOT and sweating will be your enemy. They have a bar and restaurant as well, but we didn't get a chance to go. Definitely will be back, and next time need to go for 4 hours! I think we did 2 hours and it didn't feel like enough time.

The premise is similar to an escape room, but there are several themed, interactive rooms that you try to progress through. Each room has a 3 minute time limit and if you pass the first challenge, a door opens to another room. Each themed room has 3 challenges total. We all had a lot of fun working together as a team. The rooms are hard to complete (at least for us lol) and some of the rooms required more physical ability. There are employees there to help you as requested, which helps if you get stuck on what you're supposed to do. The rooms are well put together, theme-wise, which adds to the experience of the challenges. There were a lot of people there, which meant a long waiting time. I feel as though we did more waiting than we did inside the rooms. Although, it didn't help that several rooms broke or weren't functioning correctly throughout the night. There's also a bar in the back where you can grab drinks and food, if you so choose. I would recommend waiting until after the experience since you have a 2 hour time limit. Overall, Bam Kazam is a unique activity to get a group of friends or family together for a night of fun and challenges! I would definitely go back again, but perhaps on a weekday or a time that would be less busy.

When the time came to cancel, I called and was suddenly told I had to download a form, fill it out, and email it back. Fine -- I did it. Then on the day of the billing cycle I was charged for September. I emailed and left a voicemail. Four hours later I got a reply saying my membership would continue through the end of September... with zero mention of a refund. I called again and was told only the manager could process a refund, and that she would call me back at 2. I specifically said I did not want to wait around all day for a callback. I was told that was the only way. No call ever came. I had to call back myself. The manager (Riley) then asked for my full card number over the phone to issue the refund. Extremely inconvenient. Later I checked and the refund was only half the membership amount. When I called again, she said she "wasn't sure of the amount so she just returned whatever she decided." We had been on the phone together -- she could have simply asked. I had to give my card details a second time and go through the whole process again for the remaining balance. I am blown away by how this business is run. On top of the cancellation nightmare, regular visits have shown ongoing issues with underage employees and the AC frequently not working. Would not recommend.

The facility itself is pretty dim, which really makes all the bright fish and aquatic creatures stand out. The staff even brought out a live baby penguin to view and watch for a bit, which was absolutely adorable!! I am not entirely sure this part was a standard part of general admissions or was incorporated as part of the work event I attended to be honest, but it was quite the experience. I had never been so close to a penguin before! I will say, you can get through the entire aquarium pretty quickly. Unless you really love seeing fish and plan to stop and read each of the wall plaques describing the different sea creatures, it's going to go by fast. Also, please be mindful when taking photos of the aquariums. The sea animals are sensitive to flash, so make sure your flash is turned off. Overall, I would describe OdySea as something you try at least once, especially if you really enjoy fish and other aquatic animals or have kids who may be impressed by all the bright colors and unique aquariums. I enjoyed the experience and I'm glad I got to see it, but personally, I probably wouldn't return for a second visit.

You can even swim with some of the fish if you're looking for a memorable experience! And don't skip the shark tank bathrooms--they're absolutely fintastic! They also have a Starbucks, and for the adults, they even serve alcohol. Whether you're visiting with family, on a date, or just exploring on your own, there's so much to see, learn, and enjoy. And informative signs are posted throughout, educating visitors about the conservatory and butterfly care. Visitors are given a butterfly guide in the beginning, but some of the butterflies fluttered their wings so quickly nonstop, it was sometimes hard to identify. The big blue one (blue morpho, I believe) looked like a bird as it soared in and out of the plants and overhead. There were so many butterflies in the air, on the leaves and flowers, they even had signs noting how you could get them to land on you as well. The random music in the background wasn't too loud. At some point, the Harry Potter theme song came on, and what an enchanting vibe in the conservatory! They had bees in there too (behind glass). Once you exit the butterfly conservatory, there was much more to see. The Rainforest reptile gallery included awesome turtles (like the mata mata turtle camouflaged with the rocks), snakes, and even amazing axolotls on display. And the Tropical Waters room was delightful to view, with fish, stingrays, and more. There was also a gift shop, cafe, and vending machine selling edible bugs.
