I haven't had a service done here so this review is not about that…read more I came in to ask if I could do a quick acne injection and they were fully booked for the day so I opted to come in the next day. Front desk mentioned a deposit was needed and I was happy to pay that, but then she said that I might as well pay the full amount while I'm there. So I paid the full amount for the service. Something came up the next day and it wouldn't have been worth injecting a zit days later. So I called to cancel and am then told they couldn't refund me. I can still come in and get the service done any time, but since it was for a one time acne lesion, I won't really be needing it. Plus I work at a nearby med spa and was only in the area. It would have been nice if someone told me upfront that if I cancelled, my money would be kept. Especially because I understand that being the case for the deposit, but I was encouraged to pay the full amount and all of it was kept. Of course I couldn't dispute the charge because it's in their fine print... A little upfront honesty and clarity would have gone a long way though.

I'm writing this review to warn others about the possible side effects of facial laser treatment…read morebecause I do not feel I was properly informed of the risks beforehand. I had laser treatment performed on my entire face, including around my eyes. After the procedure, I developed severe post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation under both eyes. I was verbally told there was only a possibility of small hyperpigmentation spots, not extensive dark discoloration covering the entire under-eye area. I will admit that I did not thoroughly read all of the paperwork I signed. However, if I had fully understood that this could be a possible outcome, I never would have agreed to the procedure. I now look worse than I did before the treatment, which has been incredibly distressing and the emotional impact of this experience has been far greater than I was prepared for. I returned for follow-up appointments and was repeatedly assured that results can take up to 90 days. Unfortunately, at the 90-day mark, there was still no meaningful improvement. I contacted the spa again via text message, which had been our primary form of communication, and sent photos showing the condition of my eyes after 90 days. I never received a response. I strongly encourage anyone considering this treatment to fully research the potential risks and make sure they clearly understand all possible side effects before proceeding.

I have Indian combination skin, which can be hard to deal with using IPL and other procedures. But Dr. Lum is a very cautious and careful person. I had a mixed experience at this clinic…read more Scheduling my appointment was easy, and I was able to get in quickly. The receptionist who helped me over the phone was very kind and professional. However, when I arrived for my appointment, I was surprised to learn there was a $150 consultation fee. This was never mentioned when I booked over the phone. Had I known beforehand, I would have appreciated the opportunity to decide whether I wanted to proceed. I believe patients should be informed of this fee before arriving. I originally scheduled a consultation because I wanted to explore my options for under-eye hollowness, cheek filler, and other treatments. My goal was to gather professional opinions before making a decision, since this is my face and I wanted to compare recommendations from different providers. Before my consultation even began, I was asked how I would be paying. I mentioned that I had about $800 available on my CareCredit account. The doctor immediately responded by asking if I would be using the full $800. That made me uncomfortable because I was only there for a consultation. After already agreeing to pay the $150 consultation fee, I felt pressured to move forward with treatment instead of taking time to think about my options. During the consultation, I explained my concerns and was recommended cheek filler and chin filler for approximately $1,700. When I said I wanted to think about it and possibly seek other consultations, I felt the interaction became somewhat rushed. I eventually agreed to only chin filler and a lip flip. The procedure itself was completed very quickly. When I checked out, my total ended up being around $800, including additional CareCredit fees that I was not expecting. Considering I received one syringe of chin filler and a lip flip, I personally did not feel the results justified the cost. I honestly don't notice much of a difference in my chin, and the lip flip never seemed to take effect. Overall, I left feeling disappointed. I believe consultations should feel informative and pressure-free, and patients should be given time to make decisions without feeling financially committed. I also strongly feel the $150 consultation fee should be clearly disclosed when appointments are booked over the phone. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not return.

It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I didn't get a chance to meet Zohreh but Trisha was there and very nicely treated me to a refreshment that in a very hot day was cool. then I met Shahla! I can tell you this, she is so sweet and considerate that while I was getting my procedure done, I talked about what I was thinking before walk in because of the reviews, she assured me that it must be some misunderstanding and promised that even Jay will change his mind about this place. I visited Laser Sculpture the first time because Zohreh Shafiei started to work there. I have been following Ms. Shafiei from med spa to med spa because her work is outstanding and modestly priced. I had a problem with hairs on my back as they would become ingrown and infected. I first visited Ms. Shafiei to remove the hairs so this problem would cease. After a few visits, I was hooked. It is a much more simple way to remove body hair and I have now removed hair from my entire body, not only my back, including my legs, chest, and neck. The prices are also reasonable as I went to a few other med-spa's for price consultations, and they were significantly higher than Laser Sculpture. All in all, I recommend Laser Sculpture for their great service and modest prices. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! read more

I personally had a great experience with this center. My niece recommended Zohreh at Laser Sculpture for my Botox injections. I have a busy schedule and used to go to Orange County to take care of my cosmetic needs. Zohreh did a great job! She is not only very friendly and kind, but also very professional and a painless injector! I mean the feeling of injection was hard to notice and the results after 2 weeks is amazing. I purchased the Zerona Laser treatments from Laser Sculpture, Torrance location. I've been coming for the treatments for a few months now. The staff is really friendly, patient, and accomodating. The staff knows what they are doing when performing the treatments. I've never had any communication issues with the staff. They are a professional and overall amazing staff! I have never dealt with a more unprofessional and rude therapist like Shalha before. I did the IPL fotofacial. She missed many spots on my chest. I sent her a photo and asked her if it supposed to be like that. Her answer was...."it is what it is". She seems arrogant and rude and does not care about her customers. She is also very short on the phone and dismissive. I would never go back there. I tried to talk to the manager. Shalha got on the phone right away and told me that she was the manager and that if I have something to say I should say it to her. Wow. What an experience. read more

More than 2 years ago, I looked for a good beauty medical doctor who did injections to improve your overall appearance and well being since I had a very bad experience with a well known doctor in the past. In my search, I found Shalhla Sina, an RN & Bsn who is best in both technical and consulting areas. I've received six zerona treatments at the Laser Sculpture location in Torrance, CA and the results are showing! Of course I had to follow a diet of no sugar or soda...drink plenty of water...and eat a lot of veggies, lean protein, and fruit. I walk about an hour each day for exercise. The weight is coming off quickly considering its only been two weeks since I started! I was a size 16 and now I'm a 13! Plus ppl at work are noticing! I had a great experience at Laser Sculpture. My only regret is that I did'nt go sooner. The receptionist was very friendly and put me right at ease. I got the I-lipo and have lost 15 lb.'s. If you continue the follow up instructions at home, you will get results. I highly recommend this for anyone who has stubborn areas that they can't seem to lose. I went to this place with a groupon for 135.00 for 60 units and was told that I needed to buy 500.00 worth of Dysport. Not even a plastic surgeon would be so brazen. The product was left in another room so you don't know if your getting the real deal. I have always watched the nurse or Doctor fill the syringe right in front of me. Felt a bit shady. She did an assessment on the areas I wanted treatment on, and she was very thorough and informative. She communicated what areas she thought needed treatment based off my face and lip symmetry. She was also conservative with her recommendations, which I appreciate because I also wanted a more natural look. I ended up getting the Botox in the massetter and fine lines, and lip fillers. Melissa had a pretty light hand, and the discomfort was tolerable. My 1 yr old was with me and woke up from her nap right before we were done with treatment. The staff helped me with her, and it was greatly appreciated! They offer a monthly membership of $99 that can go towards your future treatment. It also comes with other incentives like discounts on treatment and free red light therapy once a month and facials and chemical peels at 6 month to 1 yr anniversary (I believe). I was happy with the outcome of my treatment! I'll be back!
