I take very good care of my skin and normally don't need to return for treatments this quickly. I had to go back for a touch-up, and now only a few weeks later my forehead is already moving again. That's very disappointing considering the price. After mentioning this in my local women's group, I found out several others have had the same experience, which makes me even more concerned about the consistency of the treatments here.

I genuinely keep coming back because of the friendly staff, and trust. Now if or when that day ever comes where surgically I'd like to have something done, I'd choose Contoura. But for now, I'm happy coming here every few months for things like skin care, sun damage repair, advice (that's a big one) etc. Living in Florida, you Need a good skin care plan & regimen to keep the sun damage away. With skin cancer running in my family, I try to stay ahead of the matter as much as I can. A few years back I did a series of IPL laser treatments that really helped reverse some of the sun damage I did in my teens & early 20's by laying out on the beach entirely too much. Contoura's also helped me with embarrassing things like hormonal adult acne. I never thought I'd have to go through a mild phase of my teenage years all over again in my thirties but, there I was a year ago, trying everything under the sun on my own to get rid of it and nothing was working. I booked an appointment at Contoura to express my concern and the remedy was way easier than I expected. Tretinoin. That cleared everything up real quick plus helps with fine lines &/or wrinkles. A two for one? I'm in! (If there are any women out there reading this wondering why you are breaking out when choosing to discontinue birth control, try tretinoin. This should help the issue in less than a week's time) Ok now that I've way overshared in this review, I need to give a huge thankful shout out to Becky! Over the past couple of years, I've booked appointments with Becky at Contoura and her advice and company while visiting Contoura is always a real pleasure. I genuinely look forward to seeing her and catching up with what's going on in her life. I've raved about Brookes in my 5 star google review a few years back and I definitely stand by that statement. Brookes is wonderful to book appointments with and a pleasure to see, always. Now it's time I rave about Becky here on Yelp, and Destin! They had the audacity to then charge me $99 for the "free consultation" advertised on their website after not having even spoken to, let alone receiving service from, a provider on their team. I was told the incident was being escalated to management for a refund and never heard back. If I didn't have access to the patient portal and know that there is a physical office location, I would be concerned that this was an illegitimate internet scam.
