Unfortunately I will never be returning to LaserAway. After countless issues with scheduling appointments I have finally had enough. To have a nursing supervisor speak to me the way she did today when I was voicing my concerns was absolutely unacceptable. With an attitude, She told me she wasn't a psychic and said she didn't know what I wanted. This is terrible costumer service and no way to speak to clients. The only saving grace is Nicholas who has always been helpful. The services themselves are usually acceptable but it's obvious there are some nurses that don't have the same level of skill which is unfortunate when you're paying so much for treatments. read more

Total scam in my opinion. I will file a complaint with the Texas Attorney Generals office and Texas medical Board. This review is based on 8 sessions of laser hair removal treatments taking one year to complete. Not sure where to start...scheduling is inconvenient for 3 areas - legs, underarm, Brazilian. Front desk will say they don't have any appointments Bec they need 1 hour for the three areas. So even scheduling 6 weeks out is challenging. Nothing available. During your visit they are typically on time. The 8 treatments costed $4,000. Sometimes I was in and out and dressed in the car in under 20 minutes...why is it so hard to schedule when the appointment is 20 min. Not an hour. It's less than 30 min.....after 1 year visiting every six weeks like clock work results are laughable. On treatment #6 I asked for a partial refund for the 2 sessions that had not been performed. They in no way were willing to work with me...."just wait. You will see the results"...again unhappy and unwilling to do anything to work with me. Every time it's a different technician, a different excuse of why you don't see results. After 8 treatments that took a year to complete...unhappy. Again laughable results. Now say come in for an assessment....I did just that. Never heard a word. Not even a no. Just wasted more of my time. Why tell me you will assess if I'm fact I never heard back?? I filled out the survey, a manager emailed me asking for my contact information....provided my contact info..surprise, I never heard back...basically if you would like to throw a couple grand out the window and receive the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE then this is your place. Waste of money. Waste of time. Total JOKE. Please don't message me on Yelp saying you would like to get in touch. We know it's not true. Receptionist at the front desk is always polite. I paid for a package in 2018 and had a total of 10 sessions but unfortunately my tattoo is still very much visible. With every session the intensity of the machine would go up and down which concerned me but I am not the "professional". I even took the recommendations of spacing out the sessions. With that being said, I am going to look elsewhere to finish the process of getting my tattoo completely removed. And recommend my friends and family to do the same. read more

I am extremely happy with the service I have received so far! I am getting tattoo removal (in two pretty large spots) and had called just about every tattoo removal clinic in the DFW area and even had a few consults. LaserAway LISTENED to me, was respectful of my budget, wasn't salesy in the least, didn't offer false promises or guarantees, is using the laser I had researched about any wanted, made me feel comfortable, etc etc. One of the most important things to me was that the lady who was going to be using the laser to remove my tattoo, is a Nurse Practitioner. If that doesn't mean much to you, look up how respected NPs are in the healthcare community. They know their shit!! Yes tattoo removal hurts. There's no denying that. LaserAway gave me numbing cream, allowed it to actually sit, and were gentle and caring throughout the whole process. I am about to go in for my second treatment and have had no blisters or any other possible side effects. My skin was red and hot for a few days, but I followed their aftercare instructions to a T so my skin is happy. Been going to this location since 2019. So when I booked my appointment for January 15th at 4:45pm. I'm being told "everyone called out". You would think they would give their clients a courtesy call to give them a heads up. No, I get text reminders saying if I cancel last minute I would get a cancellation fee. Too bad I couldn't call off my appointment without repercussions. Anyways I get there at 4:45pm. They always push numbing which if they gave me the option to not numb so I can get my appointment over with I would've taken it. After two other clients show up... I get put in a cold room (68 degrees) for 45 minutes with numbing cream on my lips. And here's the kicker I come out the room and obviously observe the two clients that came in after me were no longer there because with that 45 minute wait with numbing cream on my lips that's who they chose to service first. I tell the receptionist I have to cancel because... I was basically neglected. And I'm being cool about this at first right? The receptionist says we can rebook you on whatever day at whatever time... cool no problem. I rescheduled my appointment for January 20th 2024 at 11:00am... this is already a inconvenience for me because I was expecting to be serviced today. Well how about I get home and I see that I'm scheduled for 11:30am on instead of 11:00am? I hate to leave this review but not as much as the experience I had to go through today. Got there at 4:45pm left at 6:00pm. Had someone just did a courtesy call and said "Hey, we're short handed and running a little behind." All of this could have been avoided. My laser hair removal results were not what I expected at all but they knew that was going to be the case because I was encouraged to purchase extra sessions to fully achieve the results. This is hands down the WORST LaserAway location! I've been going to LaserAway for years now and have spent well over $10,000 in services there. I had an appointment this past Sunday at 10:30am, at 10:32am I get a text from LaserAway as I'm standing in the lobby waiting to be checked in that they want to push my appointment back an hour because they "overbooked and are behind". If this was the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th time this happened, maybe I would be a bit understanding. But this happens EVERY SINGLE TIME at the Dallas location!! They ALWAYS call me the day of my appointment to reschedule because they try squeezing in a "new patient" in order to make a sale. The sales team also lie about the packages to make sales. I have addressed this with their managers numerous times, all they do is apologize and assure me it won't happen again. When I refused to let them change my appointment (I was already there) the lady at the front started giving me an attitude and was extremely rude. What makes her think it's okay to text me at my appointment time asking to reschedule? I had to start going to the Southlake location even tho I live 5 minutes away from the Dallas location, I tried giving Dallas one last shot because it was the only location I could fjnd an appointment for that day but I should have known that was too good to be true. I very rarely post reviews but here goes: I have been coming to this location every six weeks for almost a year now. Each of my laser techs have been wonderful. The front staff however, has the customer service skills of a moldy hand towel. Not only have I had to wait between 20-45 minutes past my appointment time to see a tech, today is the reason I am posting my review. Again, I had to wait past my appointment to even be acknowledged, so I'm used to it but today took the cake. Upon checking in the front staff didn't even acknowledge I spoke my name to her. I stood in the door way and she didn't ask me to be seated or let me know she had checked me in. I sat in the lobby and watched the three women behind the desk get giggly and chat with a tech that left (on a break I assume) but didn't not take the time to say a word to me. They continued to chat amongst themselves about gossip and whatever else. The only other person to come in while I was waiting was greeted politely and had a seemingly pleasant interaction until her appointment was rescheduled almost as fast as she was seen, so maybe I just caught them at a bad time but I felt it necessary to share the lack of professionalism because the three women proceeded to gossip about the woman once she left. A) do not expect to be seen at your allotted appointment time B) do not expect any stellar customer service other than trying to be upsold for things you do not need and gossiped about as soon as you leave, I plan on trying my luck at a different location for the remainder of my sessions. read more

Do not do clear and brilliant here at Dallas location... I am an avid c and b user, more than 16 since 2018... This is what you get now in Dallas LaserAway--- a half sort of treatment done by a poor technicians who don't know how to use c and b .... This should all be red- but --- no, lines everywhere. The other side? She didn't even do the lines you see below the eye, didn't even do half my cheek---- just awful. Didn't do either under eye either. Probably good because she had no idea what she was doing or talking about. Do NOT DO C AND B HERE, you will pay so much for ruined skin. If you see, she did 1 swipe across my upper lip and didn't even make sure she did everywhere---- awful awful----- I'm changing to Frisco to finish out my package then I'm done with LaserAway unless they get their act together and start doing treatments correctly. This is unacceptable and skin damage is not an easy fix with laser... just don't go here for clear and brilliant, please, please don't.... The staff at the Dallas location are the absolute gold standard for customer service. I drive several hours from a neighboring state for my appointments and they move mountains for me when I call to schedule a treatment. It continues to impress me that when I call it feels like I'm talking to friends because we've established such a great rapport. All the employees in the front are super nice and they all make you feel welcome! The employees who do laser hair removal here are actual nurses. I came in for a free consultation and they luckily had time to take me in for an appointment just a few minutes later. The lobby looks cute and the place is clean. They offer beverages and a razor if you need it beforehand. So far I have seen both Ashley and Morgan, and they are both professional, friendly, informative about their services, and make you feel really comfortable. I did full arms, under arms, upper lip, Brazilian, and full legs - the whole process was painless! It goes by way quicker than you think it would which is nice too. When I first came here, I was excited with the thought of no longer ever having to shave, wax or thread. I immediately started my treatments (laser of lower legs, upper lip and under arms) with little to no pain. I scheduled my next treatment... fast forward to the next appointment. I included my Brazilian in this one, of which I was extremely nervous of... and after leaving that appointment my nerves were bad, I was promised little pain. I kept in mind everyone's body is different; however, this was so bad I couldn't complete my treatment for the Brazilian. I will say I was on antibiotics for a while therefor I had to reschedule a couple of times, of all I was happy that i didn't have to go through the pain again. I surpassed my medication and scheduled another one to do all the treatments (including the dreadful Brazilian). I walked in and got Simmi, I couldn't have asked for a better nurse. Simmi was patient, she walked me through the entire process letting me know what areas she was working on. I experienced zero pain, she was extremely caring. Simmi moves along to the Brazilian, I was so nervous... I was so grateful and happy to have her doing this treatment, she calmed my nerves and I felt no pain!
