I found out about the LaserAway location in Dallas from Instagram, and they were running a grand opening promotion at the time. I had to seize the opportunity to try laser hair removal, so I went to get a free consultation. They had many packages to offer. I could choose a bundle and save money versus paying for each individual area. It could get a little costly, but I was able to get it financed with no interest right in their office. Shortly afterwards, I met my laser technician, and they managed to squeeze me in for my first session. I have had 2 sessions so far, and I am very happy with the results I have seen! I always tell my friends that the people at LaserAway are my BEST friends, so I would most definitely recommend this location to anyone. Update: I was offered to try Clear & Brilliant, and I was hesitant at first. I'm 23, and the treatment description was targeted towards diminishing early signs of maturing. I wasn't sure if I was able to reap the full benefits the treatment had to offer since my skin hasn't shown any obvious signs of maturing. I thought it wouldn't hurt to try, and I do not regret my decision at all! I did not realize that my skin had problem areas until they disappeared after the treatment. I had texture that I did not notice beforehand disappear from my forehead, my skin tone evened out, and oh boy did my skin feel so soft! (All results were seen after my skin healed, of course) I didn't know that 1 treatment could do so much! I wasn't going to write this review but after reading another person's negative review I decided to share my experience. I've gotten the Brazilian laser hair removal and the velashape for cellulite at this location. First the people that work there are very nice, but they are always pushing you to buy a service. The prices are very high. I've received laser hair removal in Manhattan for half the price and it was performed by a board certified dermatologist. What really pushed me to write this review was that when I signed the contract for the Brazilian laser removal for $1250 which was 20% I was told that if I needed any touch ups in the future it would be free for the rest of my life. When I had my last treatment a couple of weeks ago, I was then told that wasn't true and that they would give me a 50% discount on future laser removal. I thought may be I might've misunderstood the first time around but then when I read similar reviews of people that were told the exact same thing, I knew I did not misunderstand the first time and that what I was told was a complete lie. The quality of the service depends on the nurse you get because not all of them are as thorough with what they do. The velashape for cellulite is BS. It did absolutely nothing for my cellulite and may have made it worse despite working out 5 days a week and eating healthy. I'm 5'5 and 115 lbs and after having 5 sessions I saw that it was getting worse with these treatments so I stopped getting them. My cellulite has gotten better by eliminating salt from my diet. This location all about pushing you to buy a service even if it includes flat out lying to you. I'm in health care and find this way of practicing unethical. Stay away from this brand. There are too many places in Dallas that offer these services who are honest. Updated review Writing this update after leaving the initial one 2 months ago. I just want to start by saying that I have been getting laser hair removal since 2017 and I started with my lower face (upper lip, chin, cheeks, side burns). The side burns were my problem area because I would get bad ingrown hairs. After my first treatment I no longer got an ingrown. It is 2023 and I have not had an ingrown on my face since. Now let's talk about today. I recently started treating my underarms and brazilian. And I love it! I will admit that the underarms are a little painful, but the Brazilian not so much. Sasha treated me today and she was amazing and very thorough. She made sure to get every spot where hair might grow and she didn't rush. She also explained everything in great detail and even offered after care treatments. MacKenzie at the front desk is also amazing. Anytime I come in and see her I know it's going to be a good visit. She is so pleasant and kind and does a great job at explaining the products. And if it's something that she does not know she will definitely find out for you. I can't even begin to describe what an amazing experience I had getting lip filler today!! Lauren did an amazing job scheduling me in and I was able to be seen within a couple of days! Everyone was SUPER friendly when I walked in and I was greeted by at least 3 or 4 women. You would've thought I was a member of their family. When it came time for me to get my procedure done Hayley was VERY attentive to my goal. When I usually smile you could see just as much of my gums as you could my teeth. Listen. I'd been waxing for years and wanted something more permanent. I've been around my fair share of cosmetologists, dermatologists, and the like and I'm telling you there is not place where you'll receive better care from some of the most professional, knowledgeable and kind bunch of women (maybe men too, but I haven't seen them!) I purchased their Black Friday deal and haven't looked back since. I used to live down the street and moved about 15 miles away where the other location would actually be more convenient. But guess who drives her booty to Park Ln every six weeks? This girl! Let me tell you why. Every single person I've had perform my treatments have been fantastic. Five stars all around. But the reason why I come back is because of Chandler. This girl knows what's up. She's both fantastic at what she does but she's a joy to spend those quick 10 minutes with. Your treatment is over before you know it and it feels like you just sat talking with an old friend. I can not recommend this place enough. I dread the day when my body is completely hairless and I can't come hang out with these fun ladies anymore!! She cares so much about giving you the look you want to achieve, and she will definitely give you her honest and professional input on everything. From Botox, to lip fillers, to cheek fillers she is very skilled and the finished results show it. This place is a ripoff! I purchased a Groupon for a tattoo removal and after all 3 sessions there was no change whatsoever. I paid for 1 session at another place and the results from that one sessions was far greater than all 3 sessions I spent at this place. I was told to come back and purchase 6 more sessions to see results but after seeing no change after 3 sessions I can only conclude this place is a scam or poor practice. 5 stars goes to DEJA who was my IPL Photofacial Tech for today :) Back in April I purchased an IPL Photofacial package of 3 which today was my second usage (visit #2), I wasn't excited after my 1st visit due to the Tech "PA" rushed through the procedure nor was she compassionate during my experience (treated me like I wasting her time) so DEJA was definitely a 360 degree exp. from my 1st visit. Loved how clean the facility, courteous, professional & friendly the receptionist truly are. I wish I could leave zero stars. I purchased a groupon for tattoo removal. and was told when I went in for my "consult" that I would need at least 12 treatments and my groupon only covered three. I was very much pressured into buying more sessions and after negotiating like buying a vehicle back and forth let me call my manager we can't do that blah blah blah. They agreed to do the additional treatments for 1K. I asked if I could use the three sessions that I paid about $300 for on groupon first but was told if I didn't purchase that day I would not be able to get that deal again. Hesitantly I agreed and asked about refunds and was assured that if I was not satisfied I would be refunded my money. After four treatments I saw ZERO results and inquired about cancelling and refunding my money and was informed since I had used four sessions and my groupon only covered three the fourth session would be $749 and my refund would be $251. I explained I was told something different and also asked for a copy of the digital paperwork they had me sign and their refund policy explaining this. I have not received any such paperwork and was told on 9/2 they would issue my $251 and haven't received that yet either. I have asked for documentation multiple times and they have failed to provide any so I am filing a claim with the small claims court which is $37 and disputing the charge with care credit. They have provided no evidence to back up their refund policy and lied to me in order to up sale me services. So for the principal I will spend the money to fight them in court because they are selling worthless services and won't provide any documentation to back up what they are stating. My attorney says if they don't have the paperwork it's a pretty clear case. It's just ridiculous to have to go to this level to get people to be honest and do the right thing.. I wouldn't waste your time or money with this company. Total scam, lies and bullies. Am posting reviews everywhere I can so that others don't make the same mistake and have filed a grievance with groupon/living social as well. I see lots of comments about other people that were taken advantage of as well so maybe its a class action kind of situation. Some will disagree and that is ok. This was my experience and judging by reviews which I wish I had read before purchasing a lot of others have had the same issue. Such a scam of a company! read more

For now, giving 4 stars because I am only finished with 2 out of 3 Clear and Brilliant Treatments, and yet to see the full benefits, however as someone who has dealt with melasma for multiple years, I understand that this can be a tough issue to treat! My technicians, both Amy, RN and Leah (I believe is a NP) have both been very professional, and made the (somewhat uncomfortable) treatment, very bearable! As far as the staff, everyone is wonderful and kind. Very professional. The location is convenient and the interior is kept extremely clean, which you definitely want in this type of business! The staff is very nice and the place is very clean, but I am very disappointed in the results of their tattoo removal service. I have a small ankle tattoo, I purchased a package in 2018 to have it removed. The gentleman who sold me a package of six visits (at a cost of $800) said "that should take care of it". I did the six visits and it was still very visible, so purchased another package at $300 for an additional three visits. At the end of the nine visits I still have a tattoo that is faded but visible. I called the store today to tell them I wasn't happy with the results. After telling them where the tattoo is located I was told that ankles normally require 10 to 15 visits, and they offered to sell me another discounted package of six visits. You can see from the pic the results after 9 visits and $1100. I would not recommend Laser Away for tattoo removal, had I been told during my consult the cost would be over $1600 and take two years to completely remove it I I would not have bothered with it. read more

I have had IPL treatments at several places over the past few years and none were as professional or thorough as my experience at Laser Away. I absolutely love that they only use nurses for all procedures and they took more safety precautions (like double eye protection) that was so reassuring to me. Libby was not overly chatty but super-professional and just the right balance of serious plus caring, explaining what she was doing every step of the way. I highly recommend them for any med spa procedure you are considering. Yes, they are a slick, large, well-run, money-making operation, but the staff are still sweet and friendly and you can feel confident that you will be getting good, safe treatments. I walked in for a consultation for laser hair removal and the lady that helped me convinced me to sign up for a loan , that it was gonna be interest free with a reasonable monthly payment for me . Don't make the mistake I did. The first issue happened with scheduling a laser hair removal appointment. I had to talk to 5 people to figure out if I still had my appointment or not because I never got an email confirmation. During those 5 phone calls, 2 associates said they would call me back and never got back to me. Come to find out they overbooked and my appointment was "flagged". I ended up getting an appointment at a different time, went in, and it was a disaster. The nurse had no idea how to see my chart and decided to blame me for not submitting my info. The front desk had to show her that I had in fact sent everything over. The nurse was also not familiar with a very common skin condition/reason people get laser hair removal, and started asking others nurses for advice on her iPad after saying she probably wouldn't treat me even though it was recommended by my dermatologist. I decided to not let me her treat me at all if she is this unfamiliar with something so common. Called the lender company to cancel the loan and they said they were glad I called myself because supposedly LaserAway doesn't cancel the loan most of the time or they take over a month to do so. Lauren is their only redeeming quality and it seems like things only get done if you go through her. That's a lot to put on one person. read more

When I arrived in the ''consultation'' room I felt like I was sitting at a place that was trying to sell me something. When she pulled out the calculator I realized I was in the wrong place. This is not how I wanted this experience to go. When she said that this was the price and then gave a discount and then later mentioned the groupon price I was shocked at the difference in price. I would def shop around before committing to a place that takes you to a room to talk about pricing. Reminds me of the bad old days at the tanning salon in the 90's. read more
