I had to take a moment write review in hopes this can help someone to feel more comfortable to coming here; I know it can be nerve wrecking & scary but I understand you completely. I went to a different place in Beverly Hills "supposably" one of the best...they completely traumatized me & let me in so much pain & ended up with no result ... I was devastated. BUT Laseraway, my mom was the one who told me to give them a chance! My mom looked soooooo good I just couldn't ignore it. I gave them a chance because of how happy she was with her results. I drove her crazy with lip plumpers that don't work! Lol SORRY MOM! Not only is their staff beyond sweet and welcoming, they're extremely comforting & helpful. Receptionists are dolls, love them! And the manager Melissa, amazing! The staff is BEYOND IMPRESSIVE of customer satisfaction & service. So if you're thinking of coming here, believe me, it's worth the coins in my opinion! But on to my experience... my nurse was Lidia! I was beyond nervous but she truly made me feel calm. I appreciated her being so considerate knowing I had a traumatizing experience in the past. They don't use numbing cream since the cream itself swells you so to avoid the end result they use an ice pack before the procedure. Honestly...I didn't feel a dang thing. Yeah a quick, and I mean so fast I didn't feel it pitch but that's it. And this is without numbing cream people, that's amazing! Lidia, hands of an angel, super gentle & extremely informative of every step she's doing so you're left in a calm state of mind. I can't say it can happen to everyone but... I DIDN'T EVEN BRUISE! That's how gentle she is! Again all people can have a different response of healing process but personally my mother and I had no issue with bruising. No one noticed I got them done when I went back to work! No duck looking lips at all HECK YES(; I absolutely adored her & I'm in love with the results. There's parking meters in the front of the establishment, I haven't had an issue with parking. No delay on appointment time, they're on the dot. You will be asked to fill a consent form when you arrive for your first initial appointment & speak to a nurse to ensure all is good before proceeding to your procedure. Inconsistent inconsistent inconsistent!! I did the bikini and they said three fingers is how they measure. When I told them about the inconsistency in my bikini line (some nurses did not do the entire bikini but rather stayed close to the inner part of the area), they said it's because various people's fingers measure differently. I thought I was done with this company, but they continue to infuriate me. I just learned, that even though I cancelled my whole procedure, nothing was done, this facility was paid $3400+ by Ally Financing and now I have a loan for a service that NEVER happened! I only got notified because Ally was contacting me for a past due balance, wreaked havoc on my credit too!! This office is just incompetent all around - from scheduling appointments to billing. This experience was a complete disappointment!!!! Honesty should be the key to any businesses!!!! My Suggestions 1. Get consulting from at least two different companies to make sure that you are really eligible for cool sculpting. 2. Do your price search carefully. Coolsculpting is overpriced at Laseraway. They charge $1500 for a large applicator whereas others charge like $1000. There is no such thing like one is better than others. They all use the same machine which is standardized by FDA. MY experience I went their Sherman Oaks location to receive a consultation for coolsculpting. Diana was the person whom I dealt with. During the consultation, Diana said I am eligible for this treatment and she directly started talking about financing. Coolsculpting is not for everyone. You need to be eligible for the treatment. Diana was not honest with me about my eligibility for the treatment. She was so focused on selling the service by hiding most of the facts. After making it sound like it is going to work perfectly she scheduled me for two sessions. More than two months after the first session there was no change which got me suspicious. I wanted to get a second opinion about my eligibility for coolsculpting. I went to another company that provides coolsculpting service. I never mentioned that I already got one coolscultpting session at laseraway by the way. As soon as the nurse saw me she said that I am definitely not a good candidate for this treatment. I went back to laser away office in Sherman Oaks to ask for a full refund. I explained that I saw no change and was told that I am not even eligible for this treatment. Melissa said I would need at least 6 months to see results. This was never told me during my consultation. If it was, I would never get coolscultpting. I also asked Melissa to take some responsibility at this point since their employee was not honest with me. Melissa said I can not get a full refund because I signed the consent that says I can not cancel the financing once I signed it. So, they did not want to own their poor service due to their dishonesty. First of all, that consent is pages long and you have people sign it during the check-in. So, you can not expect people to get familiar with all the contract within five minutes. If you want to be honest with your customers, how about summarizing and pointing out the obligations that the customer is signing for. Secondly, I SPECIFICALLY asked DIANA what if I cancel the second session. (I perfectly remember this) She never said that I can not cancel the financing once I signed it. All she said was that I would need a minimum of two sessions. This clearly shows that she was intentionally hiding that I can not cancel the financing. Now, I am paying $3000 for NOTHING. Recently I had my first treatment done at Laser Away at the Sherman Oaks location and it was amazing! I had made my consultation appointment one week prior and was greeted by the friendly front desk staff and taken through my options for what I was thinking of getting ( laser hair removal from underarm + lip). Lauren had guided me through my consultation and answered all of my questions! She was not pushy at all and let me choose what package was best suited for me! I had to reschedule my original appointment as I I had a training session afterwards where I would sweat ( they advise not to sweat after treatment). Lauren helped me reschedule to a later time day of which worked out amazing since I was going away for the rest of the week. The actual treatment was super seamless and did not hurt that much. Laser hair removal is known to be uncomfortable but the technician was super fast and knowledgeable and I was done within 10 min! If you are hesitant about getting laser hair removal, don't be! If I could give this place -10 stars I would. My entire experience was horrible. From going in for the consultation regarding lip filler and cool sculpting. I went in and decided to make a deposit and schedule my appointments. I put down $1,500. Never once received a receipt. I decided to get the cool sculpting done in my own town and wanted a refund as I would not be using their services for cool sculpting. I had to call back 4 times and each time I spoke to a Melissa who assured me that a receipt would be sent and the refund would be processed . I received the receipt the week of my appointment. Mind you I'm an out of state client who flew in specifically for lip filler. The day of my appointment I went in and was greeted by a nurse whose name was Mimi. Mimi then told me that my lips were uneven and that we were going to fill them to make them even and beautiful. Mimi ended up doing the exact opposite of that she filled them unevenly to wear my right side lip was bigger than my left and I had nodules of product in my mouth that was uncomfortable and painful. I Expressed that I felt she had put too much product in one side than the other and she told me; no that it was the swelling. She then proceeded to tell me how she put the same amount of product in each side. I told her that I didn't think that that was right and she said that it would go down after two weeks. I waited two weeks and then did the massaging as they instructed and to my disappointment my lips stayed the same. My lips were uneven painful and they hurt to touch as well as they were hard. When I called them to complain and see about getting a refund as they did not do a very good job filling them I was given the runaround for almost 2 weeks. After this I decided that I needed to get these lip fillers resolved so I went to two other nurses in my hometown and they both told me that the woman who filled my lips did a bad job of filling them. She put way too much in without evenly distributing it. I then called back and spoke to 4 different girls who all said that there was nothing they could do. Taylor, Melissa, Brittani and a Barbra who told me that there is nothing that they could do. I am very upset and honestly I am going to go forward with legal action against LaserAway as I believe that they miss handled the customer service aspect as well as they did a poor job of injecting due to their own negligence. They told me that it was all side effects, but both professionals in my own home town have confirmed that it was the person who did the injecting. I will NEVER go back to them and I plan on suing them as I wasted $650, had to take multiple days off work due to pain and getting them dissolved, wasted a plane ticket, and spend the money to get them dissolved. read more
