I went to the location in midtown on 3/29/26 at 5:15. The tech was working on a client as I entered the Spa. I patiently waited until she was finished, which was approximately 10mins. The tech walked over to me and asked what service am I getting. I told her threading and lashes. She responded that she's going to be closing shortly at wouldn't have time. It's 5:25 and the spa closes at 6:00 she still refused to do my service because she has to clean up and will be closing shortly. They don't sanitize/wipe down chairs in between clients. A girl left a wet spot on the chair before me. The technicians don't wash their hands in between services. I went a week ago And my eyebrows were waxed so fast and aggressively that it tore the skin off both my eyelids. I emailed them and haven't had a response yet! read more

DO NOT GET YOUR EYELASHES DONE HERE!!! I always go here to get my eyebrows threaded and thought they might do a good job on "natural eyelash extensions." Long story short I was WRONG! They're absolutely terrible and I look like I'm going to mf prom. They used some sort of black, thick and tarry glue to put the extensions on and it looks like thick uneven eyeliner. It also feels like I'm wearing two umbrellas over my eyelids bc they're so heavy and I can't freaking see without opening my eyes as wide as possible. They charged me $60 for these "natural lashes" and I'm going to a salon tomorrow to get them taken off. They have no idea what they are doing!!! 0/10 read more

This is my #1 AND ONLY eye brow location that I use in Tuscaloosa. I get my eye brows THREADED AND NOT WAXED and so after relocating here at the end of 2021 about 3 years ago, I desperately needed to find a new eye brow bar and after visiting this location for the first time (again- years ago), I have been going there ever since. They are ALWAYS QUICK TO GET TO ANYONE WAITING. I never wait any longer than a minute and have never needed to bother with worrying about appointments. Some businesses these days (maybe in the south?) have weird surprising hours, but any time that I have needed to drop in and get threaded real quick, they're open and so I feel their hours are good and reasonable. The brow bar is clean and the vibe and ambiance are good. The location is great especially if you feel like walking around outside and window shop etc. since it's literally located inside the (one and only?) best middle to upper-mid (high) end outdoor mall in the area. Brows- never done me wrong here. Lashes- A. the tech did not apply layer by layer. The lashes were all glued on top of my natural and were extremely blocky. B. The placement of lashes horizontally were not even on both sides, and a band of glue (close to the root) on top and on the bottom. C. I did have to take them off the day of- in which they came off like a strip lash and we're not attached to the individual lashes at all. That being said, if you plan to go here I would advise bringing in a picture of what you would like. Make sure to be more communicative with your tech! read more

This place is small and should advertise more!!! I just relocated to the Tuscaloosa area from Miami, Florida where threading is super popular. I was nervous to say the least not being able to get my eyebrows done from someone who actually knows what they're doing. Mitra is amazing!!! She was a little soft so it hurt a lot more than normal but my eyebrows look better than when I lived in Miami! I will be her forever client!! I tried to go to another local place across the street but they weren't open. I was really scared by the reviews but then noticed the reviews were very old. She was kind, quick and my goodness is she talented! My sister and I both left a handsome tip! They do not clean their instruments that they use properly and are spreading infections and bacteria. I now have this skin disease to take care of as well as medical bills. I'm literally so confused. I don't understand why the technician decided to make one of my eyebrows PENCIL thin and completely take off the arch. I've always loved having thicker eyebrows, but I'm so incredibly upset and disappointed right now I want to cry. I'm at a loss. I'm trying filler, but nothing is working. A complete waste of money, I will never return. The whole experience was incredibly unprofessional and a nightmare. My eyebrows were so sloppy and tinted in all the wrong areas that I had to come home and scrub them off. My eyelashes looked no different when I walked out than when I walked in and my eyes burned to the point of extreme pain. I don't have one good thing to say about this place. A loss of $40. I have had my lashes done at lots of places (in another city and state), so I have a lot to compare it to. This is the worst lash job I have ever had done. The lashes are stiff and hard- what are they even made out of? And she didn't even do extensions on all of my natural lashes, just some of them. She said "You Can look at it and i can do more if you want, when I'm done." What??? The lash tech is supposed to do extensions on each natural lash. Then, I took a shower two days after getting them done, and I lost at least 10 lashes from each eye during the shower, and they were coming off in pairs, like she glued two together! I specifically said I did not want cluster lashes, I wanted individual. Also, it kind of hurt and burned when she was putting them on. And I have never had it hurt before. I guess if you go to the cheapest place for lashes, there's a reason it's so cheap. read more

Lashes were of poor quality frayed and coming undone after one week. Went in for repair and was denied a reduced price to fix it. Individual lashes lasts for at least 3 weeks if the material is quality and the person doing them are experienced. Never going back! read more

I've been to this place consistently for about a year now and the 2 owners have always done a decent job. I went last night right before Valentine's Day, because I wanted to look my best. They had 2 new young girls working. Unfortunately I got one of them and now my eyebrows are RUINED! I had thick and beautifully shaped eyebrows before that I worked hard to maintain, they're now pencil thin and it's going to be a pain to try to grow then back, if ever. Will not come here again because they have a rule that you cannot request a certain person to do your eyebrows. Beware. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! I wanted to like this place, the lady seemed really sweet. I went in for a lash perm (I've had this done in the past), and it was the biggest waste of $45. Lash perms are only supposed to take 1 hour, this one took 2. The woman clearly didn't know how to do it, she was ripping eyelashes off when taking the solution off and ended up trimming them with manicure scissors because my eyelashes were all stuck together because she hasn't used the mould properly... My eyelashes were shorter and even less curly than before I went in. It was a nightmare, and she still made me pay for it. She even knew it was bad because she said, "I can redo it" even before I looked at them! I told her I was unhappy and that I didn't want her redoing them- clearly making a buck is more worth it to them than customer service. This is proof that just because someone can open a business it doesn't mean that they should. I honestly can't believe a place like this exists... I should've trusted reviews. read more

I went to get individual lashes and they looked like fake, gaudy eyelashes from CVS with TONS of black glue in them. I went to the nearest salon and had them taken off. I booked an appointment for the lash and brow spa in midtown village, so I showed up 15 minutes before my appointment like it says to in the confirmation email I got. When I got there the lady was busy with someone so I waited around 20 minutes or so, after she finished I told her I booked an appointment and showed her the confirmation email. She looked at it and said oh I can't do that you're going to have to go to the mall she said "I'm not qualified to do that." So I understood I wouldn't want her doing a Brazilian wax on me if she's not qualified so i went to the mall. They were busy so I waited again like 10 minutes. I explained to her what happened and she told me that I needed to contact her manager first.. why would I do? I drove from place to place wasted 40 minutes of my time. It's not like I just walked in I BOOKED AN APPOINTMENT. The manager clearly is not organized and they shouldn't have the service if no one can perform the service. If they confirmed my appointment there should be someone there to perform the service I booked. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Me and my friend who I went with have gone to other places multiple times and never had any issues with our eyelash extensions (they've always been comfortable and painless). We went in and the lady barely spoke English and did not understand our questions and what kind of length we wanted. My friend went first and the woman did not even sanitize our eyes and cleaned her hands with hand sanitizer. The glue BURNED so bad we both had tears running down our eyes and were shaking in pain. Lash extensions are supposed to be painless. When she was finished I demanded to know what she used and she said TACKY GLUE!! What?? We immediately left and went to a different store and the woman told us that the lady lied and actually used plastic lashes clumped into groups when she told us she used individual mink lashes. I paid to have them taken off not even 30 mins later out of the fear of getting and eye infection. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.
