Just got my lashes done, had J curl medium (lengths 9-10-11) I wish they had examples available at the front desk. They do have a display showing the length of individual lashes but nothing to see a final result to compare with or anything to feel or touch the difference in lashes thickness and stiffness (synthetic vs mink for instance). I wasn't sure which curl type to choose, they usually recommend C curl.. the lady at the front desk would say that although they are on the shorter side, they tend to show more. Which had me go for J curl instead, being Asian I didn't want it to be too dramatic and unnatural. I love the result, but definitely longer than I was expected.. so I would recommend the C curl, which is what I am probably going to do next time. Mink flat lashes are the best but there is a $30 flat fee extra on any procedure.. The place is nice and clean, they fit 4 customers in the same room. Claire was the technician who did my lashes, the job was really nicely executed. I totally recommend the place, just take your time choosing the right curl and length as this procedure has a cost that can be pretty steep so don't rush whatsoever. read more

I got lash extensions for the first time and the whole experience was just wonderful!! I was recommended this place by a friend and thought i would check it out. I'm glad I did! Everyone was beyond sweet and accommodating and the lashes turned out soo beautifully! The technician (Joanna) was already waiting for me with the receptionist the minute i got there. Before even starting, Joanna made sure her consultation was informative. We then walked into the room to start the process. Joanna was extremely professional and thorough with my lashes, making sure that every single lash was placed perfectly. She walked me through the process, explaining to me what she was going to do next and about how long it would take. When i told her that i thought the time in my parking meter was running out (i had street parked right in front of the salon, where you could only park for 1 hr max) instead of rushing, she sent someone to put in a quarter in the meter on my behalf. Once she was done, i looked at how my lashes turned out and i was super impressed!! They looked soo beautiful! Before i left, the receptionist explained to me how to take care of my lashes. I don't know what happened with Lash Bella- maybe it's the staff turnover and new inexperienced staff? Previously, I've been getting my lash refills with no problems. The refills last awhile and natural lashes sustained no damages. After a year hiatus (lash extensions are exp to maintain!), I revisited Lash Bella again for lash extensions and refills... and I swear I was left with ten fake lashes on a 70 lash refill after one week. After a few more tries with them, my refills never stayed on for the full two weeks. Not only that, my natural lashes began thinning out and I was left with gaps on my lash line. I visited another lash extensions place in Edgewater and the technician explained that the damages are from improper techniques. Since her refills lasted a full month- I now know where the issue lies. I hope Lash Bella hires some more experienced technicians bc it was truly a solid place a year ago. read more

I've been to several eyelash extension places in the area, and I believe this one is the best place thus far. I didn't need to wait when I got there, the front desk person was very nice and informative abt type of curls I should be getting (I got the C curls size 10 to look more natural). The facility was very clean and it didn't hurt at all (the woman who did my curls did it very gently and didnt even mess up my eyebrow makeup lol). I usually go to Beautistar, but tried this location because of their Groupon deal. It was $55 for a 70 last set. I also paid an extra $10 for the "celebrity" thickness which looks like you're wearing mascara. My eyes burned a bit more than at Beautistar, but I am so happy with the results! The lashes look gorgeous and full. I love the "celebrity" tint. It is a bit more expensive, but definitely worth it for vacations, special events, etc. The only downside is the price- Lash Bella and the other lash salons in the Fort Lee area are around $100 for a new set. read more

I paid the Groupon promotion, which is 70 eyelashes per eye for a price of $55. If you want to get a natural look, I would definitely recommend that you get the Groupon, pick the J type of lash, and 9mm to 10mm length. The place is clean and well decorated. Once you go inside, the application of the eyelashes is painless and relaxing (since they give you a blanket for you to take a nice nap with relaxing music in the background). Of all the lash places I've been to, I think Lash Bella has to be my all time fave. It's the only place where the lashes don't irritate my contacts. That's what I've been looking for! I had called for an appointment and got it that same day. They were able to honor the Groupon price for the Bella set (70 lashes per eye). I had asked them to use the sensitive glue, which really helped. I got the C-curl - 10-12mm for length with the natural thickness. Though it doesn't look as full, I do like the fact that it's very lightweight and natural looking. It doesn't even feel like I have them on. I didn't come back for a retouch til 3 weeks later, and I still had a good amount of them. The appointment is about 50 minutes long, and I think I actually fell asleep the first time. I got an eyebrow wax along with my eye leash extensions. I could tell that the esthetician did not know what she was doing from the temperature of the wax and the results. A number of eyelashes she has inserted also fell out during this process. I asked to see the esthetician's license and they were unable to provide it. So sad to have to give this review. I was coming here for 5 months seeing Esther. She was great. Then I saw someone, who I will refer to as "A." She was terrible. I was her last appointment of the day. I got a crown set, which usually takes 1 hour. She finished in 35 minutes. My lashes were uneven and one eye had way more than the other. I asked her to fix it and she wouldn't. My guess is she was rushing to get out. So, I told the front desk I don't want to see "A" again, and to please make my next appointment with Esther. So when I went back, two hours before an event I had to go to, I walk in, and they tell me I have "A" again. I explained what happened last time. They said Esther is taking leave, and they have no other technicians available, and I could come back two days later if I wanted. So I just left. Awful. I won't go back here again. Such a shame. This picture was taken a day after I got my first lash fill (second time going). I get the Tiara set (100 lashes), which I love! It's dramatic enough to notice but not too extra. The representative assisted me in selecting the J, curl with lengths of 13 & 14 at the ends for an added cat eye look. The service took about an hour & a half. This review is looonggg overdue. I used to go to Lash Bella religiously every two weeks last year to get my lashes done. I frequented both the Englewood and Fort Lee Locations. I loved the relaxing environment here at the Fort Lee location and the fact that it was always spotless and they had good customer service. After getting my lashes done for about 6 months consistently, I had to go and have them taken off due to the fact that I developed an allergic reaction to the glue. I was super sad to have to remove my extensions, although I guarantee my wallet was very pleased (the extensions had set me back at least $180 a month previously!) After developing the allergy and being advised by my doctor to have them removed, I contacted Lash Bella and they were more than accommodating and removed them right away and had refunded the lash fill that I had just had done the day before the reaction developed. I rarely put on eye makeup now and don't feel the need to because my lashes brighten up my whole look. I've been to a handful of other salons, but Lash Bella is by far the best! Now that they have opened a second location, scheduling appointments is more flexible. This place is really clean, spacious and quiet, which is a big plus for me. The process was very gentle and relaxing. I also didn't feel the glue once I opened my eyes and my lashes felt very light and natural. This is the only salon where I couldn't feel the lashes being applied and was able to fall asleep. My eyes are super sensitive and I had teared up while getting my lashes done at other salons, but I have not experienced this at Lash Bella. I had my very first lash experience here! They were the ones that got me hooked on eyelash extensions. Since then, I've been to a number of other salons in the Manhattan area, and it didn't take long for me to realize that the level of skill and technique was incomparable. I was never quite able to get the same experience as I had with Lash Bella. After having issues with tugging and pinching during application, and even losing more lashes than I'd like - I had to stop getting them for awhile. With Lash Bella, their technician did an amazing job explaining the lengths and curls of the lashes for me. As someone who has short, straight lashes, I wanted something that was more noticeable than my usual look. Since it was my first time, I opted for the 11 J curl which is more of a natural curl. My technician was so gentle that I nearly fell asleep multiple times. The process took a bit under an hour, though I wouldn't have minded laying there longer because it was so soothing and relaxing. I loved the results - my eyelashes looked full and even which is an important feature to me. But even better was that I didn't have issues with the glue where I would wake up tearing in the morning because it was uncomfortable. And best of all, I didn't lose many of my natural lashes as my extensions began to fall out. Now that I'm ready to get extensions again, I'm definitely going back to Lash Bella! read more

My favorite lash store has opened a second location *squeals* This was great news for me as I travel from Queens. With 2 locations there's more scheduling availability for me hehe. I was a little hesitant about having a different tech do my lashes but I LOVE the way they came out. The tech was very thorough and it was actually one of the best touch ups I've received! The combo of the calming music, comfortable table (to lay on during the session) and warm blanket makes the session so enjoyable. The commute probably seems unreasonable to some people reading this review but once you see/experience the quality of their work there's no going back! Loved this place. Clean, quiet and spa like. I was greeted quickly and had a brief consult at the front desk. I was asked about length, thickness and curve of the lashes I wanted. This information was written down and given to the lash tech. Then I was brought to the back room where I was made to lay down on a long table (like a masseuse would have). It was comfortable with a small pillow for my head. For 2 hours I laid there, almost fell asleep a few times. I didn't feel anything as the tech worked on me. She was meticulous and my lashes looked amazing. Natural and full just like I wanted. They also lasted for about 2 weeks before even one fell off. I did use the brush they provided and follow the after care instructions of not getting them wet for at least 24 hours. I also made sure to be very gentle cleaning my face.
