I went on a Saturday which there were so many people trying to come in. The lady who worked on my brows seemed to be the owner, she was really nice and even tried calling one of her coworkers to come help out with the crowd. The brows itself are a 3.5, I enjoy the ending of my brows, but the front of them are off. I usually get my brows done in black but the ladies recommended me dark brown, and I was not disappointed. The only thing I would change is the front shape of my eyebrows, at least this is fixable with some concealer but if you are looking for brows that need some work, just keep that in mind with going to this location. My sister-in-law and mother-in-law were willing to accompany me to try the new salon and so we purchased the groupons and scheduled our appointment. When we arrived, we were greeted nicely. The salon had a couple of artists, one whom I believed to be the owner. She was pleasant, welcoming, and friendly to us all. She enjoyed chatting, especially since we had our culture and background in common, which was a nice personal touch. Mamta, the owner, threaded my mother-in-laws eyebrows, while myself and my sister-in-law were threaded by the other artist. All of our eyebrows turned out the way we wanted, as both artists were willing to listen to our direction. Mamta added another special touch by showing my mother-in-law one of her eyebrows to ensure that she liked it before matching the other one. The prices were reasonable at the salon, even without the groupon. We will definitely return and I feel like I have a new threading salon at EK Threading! :)

It just so happened that I tried to see my former barber and he informed me that he wasn't cutting hair at his old location, and needed a few weeks to find a new one that I wound up going to Penny at Classic cuts. She did a great job, and I was in and out in less than 30 mins. She blended my hair just fine. I had always been trained that blacks knew how to handle black hair better. I definitely learned something new. Penny got my business. I don't have time to sit in barber shops all day.
