I visited this established 03/16/2024, and must I say I was not pleased with the service. When I first walked in, I was greeted, and it was down hill from there. I was not directed on where the polish was to choose color. While I was sitting there, I was like, oh, this must be the colors. Next, as I was sitting, one worker yelled to the back ask I ng was my pedicure water ready. Next, the lady only put 2 salt pieces in my water. There were 2 people getting pedicures prior to me and my tech was done before them When I noticed that there were other colors in the back by the pedicure station, I asked can I choose a different color. The guy that was working with another customer said she, but when the lady who greeted me was asking me what color I wanted, she had and attitude. I got a manicure and pedicure and the lady was so rough and it was a painful, not relaxing experience like it should be. My cuticles were BLEEDING. Upcharges like crazy for every little thing. The extra charge for callus removal is a joke. It did nothing. This place is VERY unsanitary. ONE week after I got my pedicure and nails done, I got not one but TWO plantar warts on each foot. I came here with my niece for pedicures. Jennefer and Nelson were both very sweet. They were also very gentle with my niece who is only 6. I already had my nails done, but Jennefer recommended that I come back to her salon to get my next set! She was patient and followed every design request that I had. She even told me the changing price as I requested more designs. I went in last minute an hour before they closed, the place was not busy and i was skeptical about their services and I'm not familiar with this area. My sister went in for last minute brow waxing, Diana took care of us. She did a wonderful job on both of us and gave us tips on how to maintain for the future. I would recommend mentioning if you have an allergy, reaction, or prefer to avoid scented oils. I failed to do this and my skin was starting to react when Diana noticed and wiped it off for me. Great nail tech but I know why they aren't busy. Like other reviews, it is not a relaxing environment. The technicians constantly talk loudly in Vietnamese to one another while doing your nails. The TV is loud and the news station that was on was very political. Again not a relaxing environment. I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new place to get my nails/feet done because the previous place I was going to is now 45 min away from me. I found this place and decided to give them a try.....based off of my experience I had today, I probably won't be back for a long time....if ever, honestly. I had an appointment for 2:45.....I arrive, check in, wash my hands, pick my colors for my no-chip mani/pedi and I sit in the chair so the guy could get started on my feet. My pedicure started around 3:05.....he didn't finish with my feet until 5:20!!!!! For starters, he drilled the crap out of my toe nails (which already happened to be a bit sensitive and tender from previous no-chip polish removals)....he drilled on each toe nail so much (trying to remove the no-chip polish) that I complained to him about feeling a burning/hot sensation....he didn't seem to notice (either that or he didn't care). After the excessive drilling, he clips my toe nails and then grabs this thin, cheap looking file (that look like it came from the dollar store) and started to file and shape my toes. Because the file was so thin, it took him longer to file my toe nails because the file kept bending. Then he proceeds to clip the dead skin from around the cuticles which seemed to take FOREVER! Now, I can appreciate him wanting to get every little piece of dead skin but my goodness.....I'd like to think my feet aren't that bad...I've been getting pedicures every two weeks for a long time now so I don't understand the need for him to excessively clip around my toes....he even knicked them a couple of times! This shaping/filing/skin clipping proceeded to go on for the next 2 hours! The massage part of my pedicure was a bit rough. When he finally got around to painting my toes (which was around 5:00pm), he literally painted one toe at a time....meaning, he painted a toe, and placed the UV light over it. Then he painted a toe on my opposite foot, then placed the UV light over it. He went back and forth from each toe on my foot until they were all painted....this took TOO LONG and was very unnecessary! Why he simply didn't paint all my toes on one foot, then placed the light over it, before painting all the toes on my other foot and then placing the light over it, is beyond me. There's a few other little things here and there that annoyed me but if I talked about them this review would never end! I was supposed to get a no-chip manicure too, but my pedicure took so damn long...I didn't feel like being in there for another minute! Especially if the guy doing my pedicure was gonna be the one doing my nails too. I didn't have another 2 hours to give. The workers there seemed surprised when I told them I was leaving and would get my nails done another time. Of course they tried to convince me to stay, but I really just wanted to go. Something I didn't like was being charged $50 for a pedicure that was suppose to be $30. I chose the basic spa pedicure....the guy who did my pedicure told me that they charge $5 extra for callous removal....he told me he had to remove a callous on my pinky toe which is true....I did have a callous. So ok, no big deal...I'll pay the extra $5. So how does $35 end up being $50?? I didn't have that many on my feet at all! But anyway, I just paid and got up out of there! I won't completely put this shop on the back burner...I only got a pedicure from here and to me, a single visit doesn't really say much about a business if you've only been there once. I simply could've caught them on a bad day......it happens. So with that in mind, I MIGHT consider coming here in the future to get just a manicure, perhaps. And if I want a pedicure, I don't necessarily have to have the same person do it. So we'll see. But anyway, I hope this review helps. read more

The worst manicure I've ever had. I made an appointment for a mani/pedi. The pedicure was ok, but the man doing my pedicure was pretty rough. The manicure took forever and the polish was applied so thickly that it took over an hour before they weren't tacky. A day later and two nails are badly chipped. From the second i walked in everyone here was absolutely so welcoming! Jennifer took me for my fill in immediately and did such a nice job fixing my one broken nail. She used a nail form on me instead of taking the whole nail off and adding a tip which was very nice because my nails are so thin i hate getting new sets. It was my first time here and it was a good experience! The only reason it's not a 5-stars is because I went in to ask for a no chip pedicure. One of the women told me they'll be able to take me at 2:30pm. I said I'd come back (it was 1:40pm) since I had to go to petco anyways! I came back around 2:23pm and wasn't seated until 2:50pm. They didn't start working on me till about 3:10pm. It was a bit frustrating since I had other things to do. There was also another customer who stated she was waiting for a long time. So that made me a bit worried. Besides that the service was great! Nelson did my no chip pedicure & he is the nicest man ever! He was very attentive to every detail. Ensured that every last speckle of my previous no chip was removed. He even took the time to get to know me! Which never really happens at other nail salons. He didn't treat me as just another job but instead asked me for my name, ask if I was a student, what my goals in life where, and heck we even watched golf together! I went here with my family of 4. We got a variety of things done (mani, pedi, fill). I had Diane and she was great. She swayed me to a better color than what I originally picked, which was a good look. She was also very patient with me. Jennifer is skilled in so many different services, it's quite impressive. My brother's feet required a lot of work but the man (I didn't get his name) worked magic. They don't rush. We arrived at 6:45 (they close at 7:30) and stayed with us past 8pm. I give this place 3 stars because I came in early Monday morning and I didn't call ahead for an appointment. Waited half and hour for a guy to show up and then another 15 minutes for him to just get ready. Finally started on my nails then he transferred me to a woman, Jennifer, to finish on my nails, I was very pleased with my nails, she did my cuticles very well. On another occasion I was with a group of 4 and we all got pedicures, didn't last a week, that day I was not impressed. Diane was very nice when she did my nails. But when i got home, i realized 2 of the nails were not shiny or had become dull in appearance so i decided to go back after a day. When i got there around 4:30 pm, their door was locked but the sign said they should be open until 6 pm so i knocked and talked to them asking if they could just have a top coat applied on 2 nails, one of them approached me and looked at my nails and said there was nothing wrong with them. I told her about my problem and then she proceeded to talk in Vietnamese to her coworkers and you could easily tell she was pissed off at me, by the way she was looking at me and by the way she was talking. So i told them i was leaving and going to another salon that would fix my nails and was trying to open their locked door. All three of them were yelling at me telling me to go back and sit so they can fix it. It seemed that they would not let me leave so i sat down and let one of them apply top coat on my nails.
