I have been a loyal follower of Vanessa since her days at wax boutique la. I'm glad she opened up her own cute little spot. I live in Vegas, but go to LA very often. She really takes her time to make sure you are happy with the results and wouldn't let me leave till I was happy with the shape. I did the yumi lash lift and it's holding very well. I was in the area for a birthday party and I decided to try to do something for my lashes. This was my first time here and first time ever getting my lashes permed. I was so amazed with the after results. Vanessa did a very great job!!! Her studio is very easy to find. It's between Daiso and Trader Joe's. There are ample parking. My husband came with me and our two kids, while I was getting pampered by Vanessa, he walked our kids over to Chuck E Cheese. How perfect is that?!!! The studio is really clean and it smells so good. Vanessa made sure I was comfortable. She offered me some blankets. They were so soft!!! I was anticipating pain. NONE of that happened. It was such a pleasant experience I would totally go back. Not only are my lashes amazing. I have never seen it curl like that. No more poking my eyes trying to curl them. My lashes are short to begin with. So I was surprised on how it turned out. Several days later it still looks good!!! I love it!! She also have some cute jewelry in the studio and when I was getting ready to leave I had to ask. She makes jewelry also!!! OMG Love my lashes! Let me say I used to get lash extensions, but wanted to find an alternative so that I didn't have to always do maintenance on my lashes which kind of caused an inconvenience in my schedule since I work 5-6 days a week. It was such a coincidence bc one day I had some time before work and decided to look around the Topanga mall when Vanessa approached me and handed me her business card, I looked at it and it said lash loft! I asked what she did and she told me she does lash lifts! So I thought about it and text her the next day. I booked an appointment w/ her a few weeks ago and she was so accommodating! I live in the inland empire and work out in the valley so it's a bit of a drive for me, but Vanessa was willing to wait for me after I got off from work to do my lashes, which I appreciate so much! Process was painless, and pretty quick. Took about an hour. Kept my eyes closed the entire time, which was nice BC I was tired from work so I took a little nap before my trek home. When I woke up from my beauty sleep, I had beautiful curled eyelashes! As I said earlier, I used to get extensions, but after having them for a few years, the maintenance was costly, my lashes became fragile & weak, and I couldn't rub my eyes. So Im so happy that I met Vanessa! It's been a little over 3 weeks after getting the lash lift/lash perm, and the curl still looks great! It looks the same as when I left lash loft studios! I'm pretty shocked BC my lashes are straight, and point down ward. Overall my experience was very pleasant & relaxing. The place is so cute and comfortable. She's affordable and so professional! Not worth the money for me (Asian Lashes). Looked nice at first but I wasn't immediately in love (my own lashes fault really) however my major complaint is that within the first few days so many of my lashes fell out and kept falling out for the next week or so. By week two there were hardly any lashes left. I couldn't have even got another lift if I wanted to. My lashes have now grown back but this def hurt the lashes that were in contact with the solution. I've never shed so many lashes in such a short amount of time - not even with lash extensions. After talking about it online a lot of ppl have said that lashes falling out that rapidly is not normal for most ppl and it was most likely due to the solution being left on too long. I don't know what the reason was but that was my experience. It's not worth it to pay $180 for a week of nice lashes that all fall out. My lashes were SHORT after this treatment. I know lashes have a natural shed cycle but I am very familiar with my lashes and I know this was not normal behavior for them. I initially was afraid that a lift would be damaging on my lashes and that is why I paid for the more expensive YUMI Keratin lash lift so I am disappointed. read more

Vanessa made me feel welcome and did such a good job making my lashes look perfectly curled. I have very long lashes that literally go straight down.. and now I have perfectly curled lashes. So I've been here once before this is my second time my appointment was with Vanessa both times I got an eyelash perm, my first experience was pleasant and comfortable as was my second great atmosphere very clean. Now regarding my eyelashes the first time I didn't get the exact results I desired I let her know and she was more then willing to work with me I choose not to go in due to the fact i felt it was a lot to put my eyelashes through. It's been around 3 weeks since I got a keratin lash lift with Vanessa and they still look amazing! Her studio is very comfortable and it feels like you're getting a spa treatment. I know friends who have gotten eyelash extensions and weren't happy with how their natural lashes were all pulled out from the extensions. The best part about the lash lift is it makes your natural lashes look their best and you can only enhance the look with a little mascara. Thanks to my cousin, I found out about Vanessa and the lash lift (perm). It's amazing! Who knew you can semi-permanently curl your eyelashes?! I love it because Vanessa specializes in the lash lift only. She is very skilled at what she does. I had a lot of questions, & she answered them all! I wanted to get a lash tint too (the lift doesn't include tint), so I asked her about it, & she clarified that it's only recommended on light colored hair, and since I have dark brown hair I didn't need it.
